So, I'm a FTM due in April and I also have an autoimmune disease. I know you want to breastfeed because of the antibodies, but if my body is already under attack from antibodies. If I breast feed, what would that do to my child?

This would be a great question for your doctor or a lactation consultant. I’m not a doctor, but I believe your body is mistakenly attacking the antibodies even though it needs them. Unless your baby has the same autoimmune disease their body shouldn’t react the same way and will benefit from the antibodies to keep them healthy.
