Did y'all see the video from my home state (Louisiana) where a teacher was forcefully removed after commenting and asking questions about the superintendents pay raise!!???? It's very upsetting. I included a link below in case anyone wanted to read about it. The school board president is such a dick about it and calls her "poor little woman". I hope she sues the f*** out them and wins. I also hope the he loses his job. Yet another reason why I can't wait to GTFO of Louisiana in 20 years.
@muggle621, absolutely disgusting. Complete abuse of power, and something that a small fragile ego would have to pull.
WTF. I go in for my 32 week appointment, and mention the cervical pain I’ve been having. That combined with losing weight, fundal height behind by 2 weeks, and how low I am carrying, my midwife orders a stat ultrasound to check my complete previa and cervix.
Good news: my Placenta Previa resolved between 30-32 weeks!
Bad news: my baby is smushing it’s cord against my cervix.
SCH-losing baby B-complete Placenta Previa-low lying cord/cord prolapse precautions. I’m seriously over the drama of this pregnancy and ready to fast forward to March where I have a safe, healthy baby in my arms. As if years of infertility and spending a crap ton of money on IVF isn’t enough. Over. It.
@Cowboycorgi you’ve been through so much, I’m so sorry you’re dealing with more. What do they have you do for cord prolapse precautions? We’re all getting so close to the end, hang in there mama!
Thank you, Ladies. I’m a little less frustrated today after having time to digest. I know it could all be so much worse, I’m just frazzled. Thank you so much for the support!
@heatherdubrow, pelvic rest (I’ve been on pelvic rest since May... I find it funnier than my husband that it will be basically a full year since we last had sex), no lifting over 10lbs, must go to L&D at any sign of contractions/water/pelvic pressure, and kick counts x3 per day to make sure cord isnt compressed. Currently the cord is between the cervix and baby’s head, and of course baby is pushing against the cervix pretty hard.
A few weeks ago a girl at work asked what we would be naming our baby. After telling her, she expressed her dislike for the name several times, even offering alternate suggestions. I brushed it off, whatever. Anyways, she brought it up again today. "So are you still planning on naming your baby ___?" Yes, yes we are. It's not changing just because you, a random person, doesn't like it. Seriously.. wtf.
@sarahhedger7 omg, people really are so dumb. We don't have a name yet, but if we did, I wouldn't share it. I don't want to hear any comments about it!

My WTF today goes to the migraine I woke up with...
Also, pants. I hate all my work pants.

Sorry for the whine.
