1. How far along are you? If your EDD or sexes are not above please post that here so I can add it 22 Weeks 3 Days. Due 5/12. Babies are a couple of coconuts.
2. Any recent appointment updates? Had an appointment yesterday. Boys look good! They’re both over a pound now. Baby A is in the 63rd percentile, baby B is in the 52nd but doctor is fine with their size difference. Especially if they’re fraternal twins (most likely in our situation since they’re di/di).
3. How are you feeling? Rants? Raves?
Feeling pretty good but my belly is getting bigger and insomnia has been kickin my butt
4. Did you buy anything for the babies this week? Add anything to your registry?
I just got their child trays for the contours options elite double stroller because they were $10 each (usually $30 each) but now I don’t know if I’m gonna keep them because I probably won’t even be using them for another year since they’ll be in infant car seats for a while. 5. GTKY: Do you work outside the home? Will you be staying home full time with the twins?
I’m currently a full time SAHM with my son so I’ll be staying home with the twins too. I wouldn’t make enough to justify putting the kids in daycare and also we wanted to keep the kids out of daycare in general If we were able to do so (personal preference).
1. How far along are you? If your EDD or sexes are not above please post that here so I can add it 19.5 2. Any recent appointment updates? Not til our echo in 3 weeks 3. How are you feeling? Rants? Raves? Overall pretty good. My hand was tingly the other morning but went away. 4. Did you buy anything for the babies this week? Add anything to your registry? Bought this super cute MN book at a local boutique called Goodnight Loon today. Adorable spin off of Goodnight Moon 5. GTKY: Do you work outside the home? Will you be staying home with your twins full time? I'm a NICU nurse and will be planning on decreasing my hours once babies are here. We will be able to avoid daycare as we have some family members able to help out for the few hours we will need covered. I agree with @lincbeesmom I couldn't imagine doing daycare. I've waited to be a mom for so long!
1. How far along are you? If your EDD or sexes are not above please post that here so I can add it We are at 21.5 weeks!
2. Any recent appointment updates? No new news! 3. How are you feeling? Rants? Raves? I go back and forth on feeling overwhelmed with how quickly they will be here and then at times, I sit back and think, "We have plenty of time". I'm sure it drives my SO crazy. 4. Did you buy anything for the babies this week? Add anything to your registry? Our cribs are on the way! That seemed to be my biggest area of stress, though we don't plan to put the babies in their cribs for awhile. I just didn't want to stress about having to assemble huge furniture right before they come or worse, are already here! 5. GTKY: Do you work outside the home? Will you be staying home with your twins full time? I work downtown and would LOVE to stay home with the kiddos but that's not in the cards for us. My mother is semi-retired and lives in our town and has offered to watch the kiddos one day a week to reduce their time in daycare (which makes me happy).
