  • I'm loving my Mac False lashes mascara right now! I pretty much have zero going for me lash-wise and I feel like it gives me some much-needed volume
Plus my Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation - it's a little more than a BB / CC cream but still looks natural.

And I can't figure out contouring for the life of me. You either can't tell or I look like I have a 5 o clock shadow...

  • I love Roller Lash mascara by Benefit. My last tube lasted over 6 months so I don’t feel guilty spending the money on it.
  • My Arbonne CC cream is my go-to on a daily basis and I love it!!! Lightweight, but great coverage.
I really only do that, brow pencil and mascara each day.

The eyeshadow and lipstick only come out for special occasions and weddings!

  • This Shu Uemura eyelash curler.  I will never buy a different kind of eyelash curler ever again.
  • Does anyone get the subscription makeup boxes? I've subscribed to pretty much all of them (ipsy, birchbox, etc) at one time or another and now I just get the boxycharm. It's been my source of inspiration lately lol and the "samples" are normally full sized! Highly recommend if anyone is looking for something new!

  • @mrsbubbles-2 I'm a birchbox person.  I like playing with the samples, but I've honestly never bought anything out of there except things I already bought anyway
  • @livinthesunnylife I did enjoy birchbox - and I ended up buying one thing! They sent a sample of English Laundry perfume and it was soooo heavenly! I bought a huge bottle immediately and it's my "special occasion" perfume, I wore it on our wedding day! Thanks birchbox lol!

  • I can’t live without my SeneGence Concealer. The dark undereye circles are real. It’s a problem. And mascara, those are my go-to’s now. Since I can’t wear my CcTM any more I did find a Clinique BB cream that I kind of like but don’t love

  • Love my They're Real mascara from Benefit. Also loving my Velvet Teddy lipstick from Mac though it's not for every day wear for me!

  • How do you guys feel about Lipsense?  I bought some because I fall for every party competition (mostly the competition part).  And I like it for special occasions, but people that say they wear it every day I don't understand.  I feel like it is damaging to your lips to wear everyday?

It shouldn’t be damaging your lips. How often are you glossing? It should be making them feel better. I wear the lipstick pretty much every day.

(SeneGence is my direct sales biz. Happy to answer questions. Not here to solicit)

  • @hardlyhannah I have really dry lips so I really prefer to wear 7 different kinds of chapstick daily (only half kidding)
  • @ladygali I also love my Roller Lash by Benefit! Actually, it is about time for me to buy a new one. I have Lipsense, but I haven't tried it yet. My MIL got it for me, but I keep forgetting about it.
  • @livinthesunnylife do you have glossy gloss? Try wearing just that for a few days to make your lips super well hydrated. Skip the chapstick while you’re doing that and see how they feel - should bring them back to healthy!

  • @hardlyhannah I will try.  But you say that like you don't fully understand the addiction.  That would be soooooo hard for me!  Put down the 7 chapsticks.  eeeeek
  • @livinthesunnylife I 100% get it! I was that addicted to Burt’s bees chapstick before I made the switch. I think I still have like 8 tubes lying around because I can’t bring myself to part with them and it’s been over a year now  :D

  • @hardlyhannah I'm so far behind the game with direct sales - what is SeneGence? (Can I ask and it's not considered spam or soliciting right? Honestly curious)

  • @mrsbubbles-2 I don’t think it’s spam or soliciting. I’m not linking or anything.

SeneGence is the parent company of LipSense, which is what most people have heard of. LipSense is just one of our products, we actually have full skin care and cosmetic lines. Not as well known for all of the rest of it though

  • @livinthesunnylife, you may be my spirit animal :joy: I have sooo many Chapstick and feel like that's all I ever wear. I can't bring myself to put on makeup if I'm not leaving the house (which isn't often). Although I would probably feel better if I did more,  like I used too.

I used to sell and I don't anymore. I'm not here to bash the company or the products but I just found that LipSense did not live up to it's long lasting promise and my lips always felt dry no matter how much glossy I used.

  • @jomama1618 I seriously get anxiety if I don't have a chapstick in arms reach.  By my bed, in my purse, I have two on my desk.  It's a problem.  @calimom2524 I'm glad it's not just in my imagination that it makes my lips feel dryer.  I use it for special occasions, but I can't imagine wearing it daily.
  • You guys like EOS lip balm? I have so many, I love them!!

  • @ecwk either EOS or Burts Bees for me!
  • *SNIP****I can't bring myself to put on makeup if I'm not leaving the house (which isn't often). Although I would probably feel better if I did more,  like I used too.
Honey, I haven't put on makeup 'daily' since before I had L. He is 2.5 YEARS old. I need to change that, as this fetus is making my nose look like a pizza.

@ecwk I would only use EOS if possible. My issues is how expensive it is, for how many I would need to feel 'stocked'. I need one for my desk, purse, car, bedroom, bathroom, living room . . . . any maybe one to stay in my jeans/sweats. Also, L likes to put EOS on himself. which ends up being the lower half of his face. EVERYWHERE from ear to ear, and below the eyes ends up with 'oton' on it.

  • I love Vial from Perfectly Posh, which is a lip stain. It doesn’t burn your lips at all.
  • @princesslockness DS loves putting it on himself too!!! All over his chin :unamused:

  • If I remember to put on my 30 spf oil-free face lotion every day I'm doing good. Lol

Oh and my lip balm, this winter I've needed it already. I've really been digging the Blistex 5-Star Protection balm, it really tames my wind burned lips. I don't know how people use Burt's Bees lip balm, it always smells like 20yo candles and goes on about as well. I want to like it, and I have several tubes I've tried, but they just don't work for me.
  • I use plain ol' Maybelline Great Lash and I'll fill in my brows if I'm feeling super fancy. I do use bare minerals on the rare occasion I'm doing a full face of makeup (maybe once per month).
+1 for EOS. I prefer the tubes over the balls tho. The balls are awkward, and I don't like how they take up space in my purse. I usually have a stick in my purse, car, nightstand, and desk, especially during the winter.

  • @lakesideknitter yes!! I hate the balls! I’ve never used EOS on principle because that’s so inconvenient. Didn’t they come out with smaller packaging though? I thought I saw something

  • @hardlyhannah yeah, they make tubes now. Similar to other chapstick tubes. So so much better.

@princesslockness I just realized that sounded way different than I meant it too! I only wear make up on special occasions now (I wore it 1 time last year for a fancy family wedding). I haven't worn make up daily since like 2011/2012. I guess I was trying to say since I never leave the house, (and I don't feel like doing make up just to grocery shop), I don't even bother buying it anymore. That was horrible attempt at words and making sense on my part. Sorry!

@livinthesunnylife Yes! My DH thinks I'm crazy because I have it stashed literally  every where! And that's why our 18 month old Ds is obsessed with chapstick lol
  • Also, I managed to get my eyebrows microbladed between being pregnant, nursing and getting pregnant again.  It's life changing for a blonde girl and that extra 5min every morning I save from not having to draw my brows on has changed my world.
  • @livinthesunnylife I want to get microblading done soooo bad!

  • After DS was born, those weeks on leave when I barely got a chance to wash my face but wanted to take pictures with him to capture those moments.....Made me realize how bad I needed brows!  That's how I celebrated the end of nursing (11M)
