Feels like baby is punching my vagina from inside

hey everyone! So I’m 29 weeks now and I’ve been getting this weird feeling when the baby moves, and it kinda feels like he’s punching and jabbing my vagina from the inside. I don’t really have any other pains or contractions when it happens, but this is still a little startling. I didn’t experience this with my first born. Sometimes it freaks me out and i start grabbing down there in case he falls out (lol) but seriously... what could this be? I went to the doctor 3 days ago and my midwife didn’t check my cervix or anything but she was able to feel around my belly and said baby’s head was down. I also feel like i carry very low. Side note. I’ve been coughing with a cold for like two weeks now and it can feel uncomfortable at times.. i hope this isn’t gonna effect the baby!

It’s called lightning crotch. I got it a lot with DS. Totally sucks!

I have this too. I was told it's because I'm 33 weeks and my baby is still breech. Breech makes carrying more painful apparently.  Both my other two had turned by now.

That’s crazy. It startles the crap out of me! I’m glad I’m not the only one.

Yeah pretty normal! I wasn’t breech but i always felt like DS wanted to stick his hand or something. I use to do something similar to downward dog to get him up higher in the tummy. It occasionally helped.
