How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Tired due to poor sleep.
Rants/Raves? Vents? Told my in laws today. They were excited, but made some annoying comments.
MIL: Are you sure about this?
Umm, it’s a little late for that question, isn’t it? And then apparently FIL asked DH if it was planned. I feel like it’s implied that DS is a holy terror and how could we possibly want another to deal with. I happen to love him in all his rambunctious.
Any appointments this week? Nope.
GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories? Well, there was one guy I had met on Plenty of Fish who I had agreed go on a date with. But we kept talking on the phone leading up to our date. He revealed so much TMI from his last relationships, the fact that he had Herpes. I appreciate his honesty and everything, but by the time we got to our first date, I already knew it would be the last.

Tired all the time. Mood swings from in love to sad as it can get... it’s been hard at work bc I don’t want to tell yet, but can’t explain why do I keep crying.

Any appointments this week?
I had the first appointment with the midwife last Wednesday. All fine. Saw baby moving a bit. I thought it was just me, them she was all like, look how she is moving! Then of course I cried.
GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories?
They were always so awkward! What made me like my, now, husband is that in our first date I felt super comfortable to say anything... see, I’m not crying, so I’m in the “in love” mood.

Also feeling tired all the time. We had 2 snow days this week Which gave me some nice extra time to sleep. Started taking B6 and unisom the past 2 nights for nausea And
with DD: oh my! was it planned?

“Was it planned” is one of my biggest pet peeves. does it matter?!?!!?

I think the nausea is getting better. Now I’m just tired because I can’t get comfortable when I’m trying to sleep for the life of me.

It’s my grandmas 90th birthday in April and my entire extended family is going to Florida to celebrate. I really want to go but I’m so paranoid about Zika (she is not far from Miami) and I’m the kind of person who gets mosquito bites inside the house somehow. My grandma is asking my mom if she thinks I’ll go- I haven’t gone there in forever because we’ve been TTC for 2 years- and I don’t even know what to say. Not ready to tell everyone we’re pg yet. Ugh.
Any appointments this week?
I had one on Friday and it was amazing! Saw the baby’s feet and saw it move. So cool! I have another one with the RE next Friday. Can’t wait!

Rant...I have a cold that just won't go away. Just when I think I'm feeling better, I wake up feeling congested. Ugh.
Rave...I finally made it out last night for a friend's birthday! I was so tempted to bail on the dinner, but rested up and made it out. I was sneaky too about ordering a drink--I ordered a moscow mule, then followed the waitress and told her to just put gingerale and cranberry juice, but keep it in the mule mug. She was super accommodating and understanding and didn't even charge me for it. My friend thought I was drinking all night

I had my first OB appointment last week. Everything looks good so far!
GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories?
My husband and I almost didn't meet on our first date. He was waiting inside the bar. I was waiting outside of the bar. We hadn't exchanged phone numbers so we had no way to contact each other. Eventually, he was smart and came outside and found me. 8 years later and we still love this story!
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Still super exhausted and mildly to moderately queasy on and off. Emotionally okay. I am stressed about feeling tired all the time and not being able to do as much work as I would like to be and feeling kind of brain dead at work, but other than that I am not too anxious about anything pregnancy related.
Rants/Raves? Vents? Nothing really, just very tired. Oh and I guess a rant is that I haven't heard anything about my blood work on 12/28. I am curious if I might be anemic hence the extreme fatigue, I switched to a non-gummy prenatal that has iron but would just like to know either way.
Any appointments this week? No, not until 1/18.
GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories? Nothing too embarrassing or funny that I can recall other than some baaaaad online dates. DH and I met on Tinder and were living about 100 miles apart, so we texted and talked on the phone for a week or two before we met in person. Then he drove to my city and we ended up DTD within like 20 minutes of meeting for the first time. I am sure that would be embarrassing to some, but hey, it worked for us

Extremely tired, extremely thirsty, and so hungry at times that it hurts. My nausea and ms has subsided but my food aversions are still really bothersome.
Having felt like crap for weeks at a time is starting to make me a bit mean. I need some quality R&R.

Rant: I have been a pescetarian for 6 years but have been craving crispy chicken salad (facepalm)!
Rave: My body eased up on the fatigue so that I could really enjoy NYE and fiance's birthday! I had a stern talk with my little bean beforehand lol.

My prom date insisted on opening my door for me and helping me out of the car. Not a bad thing but I mean, he even locked the car doors as he got out to make sure I didn't open my door! It was creepy at the time but hilarious to look back on.

How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? I feel tired, but that's about it.
Rants/Raves? Vents? DH is SOOOOOO stressed at work. Admittedly he's doing a ton right now (long story, but he's doing his boss's job while a committee works on hiring his new boss.) Anyways, I think he is at his limit, so adding another baby to the mix has him feeling highly stressed. But I try to remind him that soon they will hire this person and he will go back to doing his normal, one job.

GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories? Haha, yes, from my first date with my husband. I was living downtown and walked everywhere when I could. We agreed to meet at this bar and so I walked there (about a 15-minute walk.) Well, I realized when I left my place that I was actually going to be late, so I speed-walked there and was pretty warm when I opened the door to the bar. I was also wearing a sweater. As soon as I sat down I started to face-sweat and then, conscious of that fact, started to face-sweat more. I excused myself and went to the bathroom and frantically tried to cool off, which only made me hotter. I was literally a hot mess. HE didn't say anything, but later (much later) we ware talking about it and he said he found it endearing because sometimes he runs to important meetings and gets hot and starts to face-sweat, so he knows how awful that is, lol. Anyways, that was our first date!

Physically I am finally starting to get a bit more energy back. Still have nausea and gag like crazy, brushing my teeth is brutal.
Emotionally quite stressed, DH’s job is being downsized and not sure what that means for us. Only time will tell.

Ha quite a few! I did online dating after moving to try and meet people. I had a date set up one night, and in prep for the date, I accidentally dropped my phone in the toilet, which meant I had no way to get ahold of my date. I showed up super early because I didn’t want to miss him. He however, showed up waaay late, so I stood there waiting for almost an hour. The staff felt really bad for me, thinking I was getting stood up. One girl let me use her phone to sign into the app and try and get ahold of him. He finally showed up, and I was so over it by then. We sat and talked for a bit before I bailed so I could go get a new phone. That was a much better use of my time, and with my new phone I started talking with my now DH. We met the next week and have been together ever since.

How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Physically: I die every morning when I brush my teeth due to the rolling waves of dry heaving. Second worse part of my day: Taking my vitamin. Also- I want a normal/REGULAR gastrointestinal situation if you know what i mean
Emotionally/Mentally I have felt pretty level headed and even keeled. I have only cried obnoxiously once, and I blame that on EXHAUSTION. This baby needs lots of naps.

My DH was my one and only boyfriend (we started dating in high school), so I don't have any funny first date stories. We went to eat and then to the movies.....how lame of us back then

I'm doing better than my first pregnancy, probably because I know my triggers, but I still feel nauseous most of the day. Also I miss carbs

@ashleyandjody my hubby and I are also high school sweethearts! So not a date but my hubby and I met at martial arts and while we were going through techniques he accidently bashed my head into his knee. We started dating about a year later
