How big is baby this week? Any fun comparisons? 7 wks and is it blueberry? I think yesterday it also saod coffee bean
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? I feel sick. And tired. No food sounds good and I'm nauseated constantly. I want to sleep 24 hrs a day, but you know, life. It's hard being excited when I feel so terrible.
Rants/Raves? Vents? My husband has been so great, understanding, and supportive. I really appreciate him right now

I keep having these on and off days. Some days I just have mild nausea all day. Others I feel disgusting with a bad taste in my mouth most of the day and then at night feel like I'm going to puke. Still tired.

Raves: DH had been taking over a ton of household duties like cooking to give me a break and so that I don't have to smell meat cooking
Rants/vents: my school called two snow days this week. I know it might have been necessary, but I'm really bummed to use two of our four already. Especially since we just got done with winter break. And I'm sick of this weather.

GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories?
The first date my husband and I went out on was to a sushi place. A guy I went out on a date with a couple weeks before was sitting a few tables away from us. Made for at least uncomfortable presence.
I also went out with this one guy who took me to a place for tempura. Needless to say the great didn't sit well with me, and I would up throwing up. We didn't see each other again after that.
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Meh. Physically I'm okay. My nausea is still coming and going, even though now I think a lot of it is from my being scared to eat/not wanting to eat anything. Emotionally I'm on a struggle bus today. My cat jumped on my lower pelvic area 3 times this morning, and I know that baby is well-protected in there, but now I'm worried. I just worry about my baby constantly, and I won't even get to see it again until February 12th, when I got for my NT scan. Is it normal to worry so much?
Rants/Raves? Vents? It's too damn cold today, and DH is at drill so I have to fend for myself. I'll eventually put on a few layers to take the dog out, and then walk to the store. MH has been really trying to be helpful and he went to the store the other day while I was at work, but kind of only bought snacks instead of things I could make into meals.
Any appointments this week? None until February 12th, unless my doctor decides to have me come in about my possible UTI.
GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories? I went on a first date with a guy who told me his favorite dog was a poodle, his favorite '30 Rock' character was Lutz, and then tried to mansplain the education system to me, a teacher. The waitress didn't even offer a dessert menu- I think she could tell I was seconds away from saying I had to use the bathroom and then running away.
@meeks2020 I totally feel you on no food sounding good. I can't find anything I really want to eat.

How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Physically not bad... trying to take it easy. Been going on long walks but feeing a little light headed afterwards.
Rants/Raves? Vents? Bump logged me out of mobile, couldn't get back in so been MIA for a while.
I haven't been as super tired lately, I think taking extra iron has been helping. I usually don't take it until later in pregnancy after a blood draw, but I've been anemic every time so I figured I should start now.
Any appointments this week? Not until the end of the month

6w6d. He's about the size of a honeybee, which is adorable to think about.
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Physically - cramping has gone down. Headaches still there. Nauseous if I get hungry, but I’m constantly eating, so it’s a non-issue most days!! Ha.
Rants/Raves? Vents? Still ranting I have to wait til 2/6 for my first appointment! Hoping time passes quickly.
Raves - had our car worked on this morning for a heating issue and it cost WAY less than we anticipated!

GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories? No embarrassing stories, but I went on a first date with a guy and he was wearing stone washed ‘mom jeans’ and I had to keep myself from laughing the entire time. We never had a second date.

How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Other than being ridiculously bloated and tried I feel pretty good physically. I am a wreck emotionally!
Rants/Raves? Vents? None of the food I have in sounds appetizing at all. I know I need to eat but nothing looks good. I have been have some aversions to meat.

GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories? I don't even remember if DH and I even went on a first date! We have been together for 17 years since we were 18/19. I think we just started dating one day and that was that.
The Bump app told me guppy is the height of a Reese's peanut butter cup today.
How are you feeling?
Physically, totally fine. Emotionally, I have been a mess since BFP about adding a #2 into this circus of life haha.

DH is in law enforcement and does shift work and we never know if he is coming home. Every day he has worked in last 2 weeks has been a double shift. So I was basically alone with DS and no help for days. It wears on me a lot and while he says he understands I don't think he does. He is often off on week days and he sends DS to daycare so he can do things since we pay for it anyway. Meanwhile all of my days off (weekend) daycare isnt open and he is usually working so I never get a break. End rant haha.

First appointment is not until 1/19, at 8weeks 3days.

Not a first date but I was casually dating someone once and offered to pay for that specific date and then my card declined. Apparently somewhere I had used it had a security breach so my card compay shut the card and had mailed me a new one... to my parents house 5 hours away where I didnt live any longer but all my mail went to. Thankfully I had other cards and it was fine but I felt like an idiot.
@7425cait if I didn't feel so sick sushi would sound so good!
@matryoshkadoll glad you're back!! Maybe if I take iron it will help, good idea!
@suzystar829 I understand the husband not being home. Mine isn't gone as much as yours but is sometimes gone for a week at a time and only home for an hour each night whileour lo is still awake. Weekends aren't much better. It's hard and lonely.

How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Tired which is partly due to the fact it hasnt been above freezing outside for 2 weeks so we've been hibernating other than work and grocery runs

Its finally supposed to warm up some, so hopefully doing some Christmas returns this week
Any appointments this week? Yes, on Thursday. After that we will get a script to get an ultrasound. I can't wait to see baby and make sure everything is all good.

I am fine emotionally, but exhausted and sick and hungry so that all stinks. DH has been more helpful than usual which is great!
My rant is that my DD (almost 14 months), who used to eat everything, now wants nothing and every meal is a struggle (followed by a cleanup of the floor where she throws everything). My rave is as I mentioned before, that DH is being really helpful including helping me clean up the food all over the floor. I think we need a dog.
No appointments this week. First OB appt. is the 24th but my OB comes back from maternity leave today so I am hoping she can fit me in on the 18th or 19th since I will be at the hospital anyway for my sister’s c section.
I actually canceled my first date with DH because I was sick. (We met online and had been chatting for a few weeks.) We rescheduled for the next week at dinner time, so I showed up pretty hungry. Turns out he had been at the same restaurant earlier with his friend to eat and thought we were just getting drinks. I didn’t want to eat alone in front of him so I made him share my pizza with me.
DS is 14 months as well and the last month or so of feedings has been a struggle too! I have wanted to stop nursing him finally but I feel guilty because hes so picky and at least I know he is making up the missing ingrediants in his diet via me. But I am ready to be done!
Oh and we have a dog so it definitely helps with cleanup. Our dog follows DS like a gaek just waiting for crumbs to fall!
I feel okay, some fleeting nausea but nothing too bad. The brutal cold is harder on me than the pregnancy.
Vents: I know I just said I haven’t been that nauseous, but you know what SUCKS to do right now? Change my toddler’s poopy diapers. Gross. I can smell him across the house.
GTKY: @yosemite2018 your story reminds me of my first date with DH. We also met online and talked for a while first. But HE was the one who cancelled because he was “sick”. He wasn’t sick at all... he was just really nervous because he had a good feeling about me. On our actual first date, a week later, we were both too nervous and barely ate our dinners. But we ended up going out for drinks after dinner and talked for 6 hours. So it was a success after all!

BFP #3 12/17/17 EDD 8/25/18. It's a boy!
Physically I’m feeling pretty normal lol. With previous pregnancies I knew I was pregnant and this time really shocked me because I don’t feel pregnant at all. Mentally I’m actually doing pretty good. I had a loss in October that I was mentally very back and forth on between being scared and excited so oddly enough I feel like it helped me get over those fears and I’m just enjoying it. Terrified to tell my mom though....she’s going to be pissed haha.
Rant/vents - none really, for once everything is running pretty smoothly
First appointment is January 18th.
GTKY - my husband and I have known each other since we were kids. When we were teenagers/preteen we were at a movie together with a big group of friends and he threw a bouncy ball at the far wall and it bounced back and hit me in the forehead. I was absolutely mortified haha

I am feeling a little nervous but it is to be expected after trying so long. I am SOOO tired, I could sleep 20 hours a day and it still may not be enough. I am feeling sick but also want to eat everything in sight. Really hard when I have to watch my blood sugar levels. I am super excited about this baby!!!

Hubby is being fantastic and my daughter is really excited and has to keep being told that she needs to love a brother just as much as a sister lol. My sister who lives with us is getting on my nerves everyday though with all of her questions about baby. I know she is excited but I need her to back off.
Any appointments this week?
Meeting with the nutritionist on Thursday and then our first ultrasound on Friday! I finally get to see the little peanut who is making Momma crazy!
GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories?
I first met my husband at a high school football game. He thought it was hilarious to rub his butt on in a weird dancing motion while we were in the stands. Well I guess it worked since we have been together for 12 years now. He is still the same goof ball daily.
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Meh. The nausea comes and goes and I'm on an emotional roller coaster every day. So it's been fun!

Any appointments this week? My first ultrasound is tomorrow! I'm nervous and excited to see the little jellybean! After the ultrasound I've got my first MFM appointment where they talk all things diabetes management with me and then I'll schedule my confirmation with my OB for later this week / early next week. So lots of appointments coming up.
GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories? Oh my, I dated a looong string of idiots before meeting DH. One of the best was when I had just moved to St. Louis and I was getting settled in my new apartment. This guy that lived downstairs asked me to dinner and I said yes. He insisted on cooking for me in my apartment and by the end of the meal had proposed that we buy an 18 wheeler together and just drive across the country. Like let's just pack up and leave after this super awkward first date. Ugh. Oh! And every time I'd take a sip of wine he'd insist on doing that arm wrapping thing, know what I'm talking about? Found a pic! In spoiler..
Blech! Needless to say there wasn't a second date.

@jsnakehole That chart is fantastic! I am with you on the emotional struggle with worrying about baby. I don't want to sound all preachy but if it does get bad, please talk to your doctor. Prenatal anxiety can happen and it's totally manageable.

@yosemite2018 we went through a picky phase with DS at about that age. He was cutting a molar so he wouldn't eat anything acidic or crunchy. We did a lot of mac and cheese and bananas. I hope it passes soon!
@redheadbride15 the poopy diapers are my biggest nightmare right now! When DH leaves to do errands or whatever I'm like "please don't poop, please don't poop." It's awful!

6w6d. Still a blueberry, but it changes tomorrow so I’m excited to see what’s next.
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Emotionally I’m pretty good. Physically, the nausea has set in most of the day. I feel bad for DH because he still wants to cuddle and have sex and I don’t want to be touched at all.

GTKY: Do you have any embarrassing or funny first date stories? DH and I met online, and our first date was within a week of us connecting. We had talked all week and I had a pretty good feeling about him. But when we finally met, he told me was technically still married. It was definitely a shock, but we continued the date and it obviously worked out well. He was in the Marines and married young and dumb. Plus he was legitimately in the middle of divorce proceedings and she was in another country, so it ended up not being a big deal to me.

Rants/Raves? Vents? Venting... I never really got back down to my pre-1st kid weight. So a lot of my closet already didn't fit me. Now with this bloat getting dressed in the morning is not very fun. Especially with a 1 year old running around your feet pulling out all my shoes. I can't wait to be past the bloated stage and onto the actually looking pregnant stage.

This GTKY is so fun - I have another one - I met up with a blind date guy for a first date and he had recently decided to quit his job as a whatever and start his own dog-walking business. Because apparently this is a million-dollar industry. (maybe in NYC or something but not in our suburban locale) Anyway, he wanted me to start making custom doggie treats for his business because I like to cook and we could totes be business partners!!! But first I needed to get a lawyer because what if said doggie treat contains an allergen and FiFi accidentally eats one containing peanut butter and is allergic.
No second date there either. And I still judge the shit outta my friend that set us up. Like WTF?!?
Seriously, my mom used to say that if there was a weirdo within a 25 mile radius I would find him and I would date him.

February/March '17: Menopur + HCG + IUI = BFN
April '17: Menopur + HCG + TI (due to too many mature follicles) = BFN
May '17: Took off due to cysts
June' 17: Menopur + HCG + IUI = Cancelled due to 8+ mature follicles
November '17: Clomid + HCG + IUI= BFN
December '17: Menopur + HCG + TI= BFP!!!! Due August 2018
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? I am feeling sick and tired all the time, I never throw up but the heartburn/nausea is unbearable. I also am super constipated

24/7 nausea, nothing sounds good or even tastes good, I get really restless at night before bed and kind of itchy

We went on a cruise and I wasn't able to get my massage because I'm pregnant. Hubby now says he can't rub my back because it's doctors orders! GRRR
Any appointments this week?
I've visited two birthing centers this week and am visiting a third today along with an intake appointment. I think this is when I get my blood drawn and maybe an ultrasound? But I'm not sure, in a facebook group I'm in the girls were talking about having to request an ultrasound when making the appointment...

I never really dated... My husband was my first REAL boyfriend and we didn't even really date! So, no fortunately I was spared the awkward dating stuff lol
