Low platelets

I was just told my platelets are low.  Currently 38 weeks pregnant.  Anyone have experience with this? I’m kinda freaking out about it!

    You should ask the medical person giving you prenatal care what that means and what you should do about it, if anything.

    When your doc told you your platelets were low, what did they say about it? I’d imagine if it were an issue and they were concerned they probably discussed it with you and told you what needed to be done about it, as opposed to saying you have low platelets and then just ending the conversation. Definitely ask your doctor if you need more info or reassurance.
