I finally tried our air fryer we got for a Christmas gift. I made lemon pepper wings for the first playoff game this afternoon. I was impressed with the taste but not the time it took to make. It felt like forever. And now watching this second game— we ordered calzones. I got mine with mozz, ricotta, and broccoli. I’m usually a pepperoni mushroom kinda girl. I have no idea what this pregnancy is doing to me. LOL!
I'm also wanting to make a pot of chicken soup for the impending sickness I'm expecting my husband to bring home. But the thought of the aroma of cooked chicken is turning my stomach just thinking about it. So I'm pondering if my "Spring Forest" soup would be equally as soothing and beneficial since it's made with red meat instead.
It really depends on the day. I’ve been craving Swiss cake rolls but am too sick to go to the store and feel bad always making DH do these random food runs for me. But last night I had a dream I was at a store like Walmart and spend hours looking for Swiss cake rolls and couldn’t find any lol
I just got a veggie sub thanks to you ladies and it was delicious! I love reading this thread. It gives me ideas for food that I dont think of. And it gives me a break from the frozen burritos and cheese sticks that I’ve been eating for the past two weeks.
I'm really proud of myself because I was hungry and went in the office kitchen looking for something to eat and came back with a banana! Look at me making a healthy choice for 2nd breakfast!
I just ate pot stickers at 9 in the morning because I was craving them. Mind you I had to cook them in the microwave because our kitchen is being remodeled. They still hit the spot lol
I am kind of craving Subway now but it is a mile away and I don't feel like walking 2 miles round trip (and I am on a work deadline) so I would probably order it and have it delivered and end up paying like $20 for a sub and chips and a drink which I am not sure I can justify. But I went to the close-by sandwich shop yesterday and am not really in the mood for that again. Pregnancy is hard, lol.

I ordered in again since we are home bound, and I don’t feel bad.
Turkey burger with cheddar and lots of mustard and a side salad with some kind of delicious dressing that I wish I could eat on everything. This is the second time I’ve has this meal this week.
I hit up Subway for a sweet onion chicken teriyaki on flatbread whenever I go to Walmart, since it’s in the WM entrance. I’ve also been loving venison and ramen. DH makes seasoned venison steak, then cooks ramen in the same pan, and it’s amazing. In fact we might just have that for dinner tonight.
I made a homemade gnocchi Mac & cheese last night that was to die for. Used fontina and applewood smoked gruyere cheeses. I was sad when DH took the leftovers to work today.
Is anyone else really looking forward to the Super Bowl so we have an excuse to buy all the random, unhealthy snacks we've been craving?!

@neeraja_k ditto to the red meat! I made strip steaks and mashed cauli for dinner and it was sooo good. So nice to be able to stomach a veggie too!

I'm eating a giant piece of Brooklyn blackout cake. I had a few bites of food at my MIL's house, but couldn't stomach most of it (too many veggies).
