@kissableviv I think it’s great you’re looking at different options. Take care of yourself and baby first. I had my MIL stay with me right after birth and completely overdid it right away trying to do it all and I ended up having complications. Rest is so important. I suffered from ppd after and believe if I just focused on myself and babe and not everyone and everything else I would have been in a much better place. It’s great to read different ways to approach things. You’ll totally find what works best for you and your family and adapt as time goes on.
It's great reading everyone's thoughts on going out/staying in with a newborn, germs, rest etc. I imagine as a FTM I'm probably going to be a nervous wreck about everything i do! I can picture myself staying in and just staring at my baby the whole time making sure it's ok. Lol. I'm just very glad to be due in July so at least we don't need to worry about flu season and freezing temperatures and can get some healthy sunshine.
My UO is that I like threads outside the normal threads. Not the ones that are all HI IM NEW AND NEED SPECIAL REGNONITION, but about common questions like the maternity clothes.
