I'm nervous because my resting heart rate is going down. Like WTF. Why am I worried about this? Didn't have a Fitbit my first pregnancy so I'm sure it's fine but I noticed it on my chart... Anyone else?
I'm also feeling hung over today. No partying, just a flight home, and in bed before midnight. I'm exhausted and nauseated. I know I need to drink more water, but I'm afraid I'll throw it right back up.

@derbysquirrel I've been having the hardest time drinking water too. I'm thirsty but it seems like it's just so hard on my stomach and immediately makes me feel nauseous. I've been eating popsicles and fruit to try and get a tiny bit of liquid !
@missybutler94 I just ate two popsicles. They were really good, this might be something I stick with for a while. It would be better if we had higher than single digit temperatures, though.

@Firemanswife11@lakesideknitter try seeing if drinking more water helps. I started out having low blood pressure my last pregnancy and ended up with hypertension at the end. I know it's hard not to worry about everything, but the added stress from looking for problems won't help ♡
@princesslockness wow! What are you going to do with your time?! Where are they taking them?
+1 on feeling hungover this morning when I’m fact I was in bed by 10pm. I’ve just been waking up feeling groggy.
Today we moved some furniture, put together a few things DS got for a Christmas, cleaned a bit and now I’m exhausted. I’m also feeling super crampy and my back hurts. I think I may have overdone it with everything today and yesterday.
Also, not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow! 2 short weeks in a row make it tough, and I’m in finance/accounting so month/year end is waiting for me. Ugh.
@meeks2020@lolog531 They are just going to the family farm, where we moved when I was in middle school. It’s a couple hours away, and they have all the ‘fun’ stuff. Cows, ‘wild’ bunnies, chickens, horses, greyhounds, and they get an entire week with Papa and Nana.
The only reason it worked out this way is because my moms school district has a different Christmas break than we do. Mine ends tomorrow and hers ends next Monday. So they said ‘we miss the Little’s. Can we have them for a week before we go back to work?’ And I jumped on that as fast as I could.
I hope H and I can get more unpacked and settled and caught up/finish Naruro Shippuden while they are gone.

Today's my one year Bump-aversary! And the day of my first OB appointment. And my first day back at work, which normally in psyched to see the kids, but my prep got moved and now I'm going to have to hold my pee all day, which is going to be a challenge

Add me to the hungover crowd. I busted open a bottle of sparkling cider and added some fruit. We toasted at 9pm, stayed up 'late' until 10:30 on NYE! Oh parenting life. Today is worse. Back to work and back to school hangovers for everyone. My DS was a mess this morning at dropoff. He doesn't adjust to schedule changes very well, and he gets it from me. Plus, I threw up my breakfast so now I'm starving. Yuck.
Good luck today @ecwk Let us know how it goes! FX for you @kayldawn
Why is TB being so slow to put up new birth month boards? I remember waiting at least a week or so after I got my bfp for the August board to open up. And I didn't even test until I was a day late on my period, and my EDD is Aug. 8ish, so I know there had to have been other people also waiting with earlier EDDs. Anyhow, I thought of this because I saw someone on here who says she is due in September, but there is no board up. It just seems like a bad business move to not create a timely space for people to come talk. I suspect some will just move elsewhere...
@vinerie agreed!!! I emailed them once looking for aboard and they replied that they put new boards up on the 1st of the month but ‘lucky you for finding out you are pregnant earlier than most.’ Cute that they think that’s how pregnancy dating works lol. I was due the 15th that time and got off at 12dpo. Definitely wasn’t ‘early’ to need the board.
+1 on the hungover (we’ll and morning sickness) feeling. I think the cold weather probably isn’t helping - it’s freezubg here so heat is running a ton which is so drying, and it’s just harder to drink in the winter. Probably why I’m craving carrots and celery lol.
I hear ya on the hungover feeling. I had wonderful friends make me "mocktails" all night so I wouldn't feel left out but staying up till midnight was super rough! My sleep schedule has been messed up for a few days now and its really starting to be irritating, definitely not helping my moodiness!

Andbthis is time I waited a week and I’m due 8/9
It's totally the 2nd, and there's no September board yet. But, I probably will be an Aug baby anyway, no one's gone past 37 weeks in my family.

@vinerie I think they changed it because they used to put them up way early and a bunch of SS would start threads saying “I hope I’m in this board” or “I just know this will be my month!” And they would get flamed. But now they are waiting too long. Dumb move.
I couldn't find it in the app or on the browswer on my phone, or on the computer at first, but I had to look at a different page on my computer, just saw it right now. WTF? Stuff is dumb.

Anyone have recommendations for winter boots that can be worn with slacks that don't have a super high heel? I usually wear ballet flats or something similar then switch to boots with jeans / khakis when it gets cold but I'd like a pair that I can dress up for work that still keep my tootsies toasty.
Appointment went well- we got to see our little bean. It measured at 5w4d, which makes sense for when I ovulated. We also got to see the heartbeat, which was great. I had a bunch of bloodwork done (yay Ashkenazi panel). My doctor said everything looks perfect so far. I go back on February 12th (the day after my birthday) for my Down's Syndrome screening and next appointment. After that, they'll see me every four weeks.
Now for my next medical related adventure- taking the kitten for his second check up. DH has been following him around all day trying to get a poop sample. So far he's been unsuccessful.

Well we survived the transatlantic-seven-hours-with-a-toddler flight and it wasn't the worst experience of my life! Got home late and dreaded school today but we have a snow day tomorrow so I'm pretty happy! As long as we don't lose power!!
Have my first u/s on Friday. I feel actually calm about it, like what will be will be. But watch me become a nervous wreck on Friday morning!!!
Hope you all are well and yay for all the great appointments and ultrasounds!! Xox
Welp, dating U/S scheduled for Monday. Can't keep my head in the sand forever I guess, but I can't stand the anticipation. I need to forget about it until like the hour of.
@mrsbubbles-2 depends on how strict your dress code is, but you might be able to get away with Dr. Marten's (also depends on your personal style). Otherwise, I totally second @westphilly, Merrell's are great.
