What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? Back to work tomorrow after 10 days away, so not too happy about that. But, set a date for the baby shower (March 3!) and thankfully my cousins-in-law (is that a thing?) are SO excited to plan it, so I won't need to do much except clean our house since we're doing a casual coed thing here.
Any upcoming appointments? Just my weekly shot...only 14 more to go!

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? it’s my last week of winter break. DS goes back to school tomorrow. We are working on putting the house back together after moving DS’s room. Last night was his first night in his new room. We will also probably go to Disneyland this week since our passes are no longer blocked out. Still feeling terrible and had a pretty bad vomiting episode last night.

23 weeks, 3 days. April 27. Week of the grapefruit. And baby weighs over 1lb now. Yikes!
What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
Brought 2017's cold into 2018 so not really happy about that but things are going well regardless. I think I've fully recovered from when I pulled a muscle in my lower abdomen earlier in December. Ive done more activities this week and I'm not feeling strained or sore!

Yes! Doc appointment Jan 4 and... I have to schedule the glucose test... Yaaaaaaaaay
GTKY: Let's warm it up. What is your favorite summer activity/thing to do?
I love love love floating around on a lake or river with some friends and having some drinks. Also just kicking back in a recliner on our deck with my morning coffee and a good book. Double also, taking DS to the park. He gets so much joy from it!

I have my work party this week on Wednesday night but other than that not too much really, I'll spend some more time today unpacking. My rant is that we had a couple friends over for NYE last night and they ended up staying until 3, which is way past when I wanted to be in bed. But I slept in, am enjoying my coffee, and don't work today so I can't complain too much! I'm also a little sore from my workout yesterday, which is a rave because I feel like I haven't been working out hard enough lately to be sore so I'll pat myself on the back for that one.

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
Lots of movement which just translates to feeling like my stomach is percolating and the pressure feels like I have to go to the bathroom, when I totally don’t need to. I’m annoyed that Florida decided winter would be a thing this week because we don’t really have winter clothes and I wanted to do outside things today and tomorrow. Guess that’s not happening while MH is home anyway.

GTKY: Let's warm it up. What is your favorite summer activity/thing to do?
I don’t really do too much summer activity wise because it gets SOOOOO hot here during the summer, and the humidity is brutal on top of it. We usually look forward to Welcome to Rockville in April but I’ll be too far along to go this year and MH really wants to go without me, but I will be Uber pissed if he does because it’s like a dream line up this year. I do enjoy sitting on our porch in the evenings and watching J play with his water table while MH grills.
@rachelg777 he slept in there the whole night! We converted the crib back already so he didn’t have it to fall back on. Feeling sore after a workout is a great feeling.
@ivyvines6 remind me, are you team green or will you find out at the AS?

Back to work on Wednesday unfortunately. I'm feeling huge and achy already compared to last time. I love that she's moving so much, but every night as soon as I lay down for bed she gets really amped up and needs to kick HARD.
Any upcoming appointments?
I had a growth scan on Thursday and will every 4 weeks from here on out. She was 1 pound 1 ounce and she is doing great!

Definitely pool with the toddler and H. Our pool down the street is being completely redone and I'm so excited. I don't know how we will do this with a new baby, but I'm sure we will figure something out.
What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? I have an appointment on Thursday. I'm feeling pretty good overall. I definitely feel bigger now and I'm needing to wear maternity clothes or bigger sizes. My only rant is the cold, freezing weather. I'm just looking forward to Spring time and for LO to be here.

My rib pain is FINALLY subsiding! It's still sore when I cough/sneeze, but I'm not in misery anymore. Hallelujah!
Had a great Christmas trip to my Dad's and a NYE party at my SIL's. Finally starting to feel some bigger movements, like kicking my full bladder during prayer at church...
Any upcoming appointments? Had a checkup today, all is well! Next appointment is for the 1 hour glucose test at the end of the month. I'm a little nervous because I'm not the healthiest eater and I'm also heavier than I was with DD. I'm more worried about possibly having to take the 4 hour test than having to manage GD...
GTKY: Let's warm it up. What is your favorite summer activity/thing to do? Fishing, swimming, horseback riding, about anything that gets me outside (along with 50spf to keep my ghostly pale skin from burning to a crisp).

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? feeling big and uncomfortable and in need of more maternity clothes. However I suck at shopping. This cold makes me want to buy all the winter stuff, but then I know I’ll want cooler things for March and April.
Any upcoming appointments? nothing til 1/15 when I have a follow up ultrasound to get a better look at baby girl’s heart.
GTKY: Let's warm it up. What is your favorite summer activity/thing to do? the best thing I can do is lay on the beach in North Carolina. Since I no longer live close to the beach, my second favorite thing is to spend the day with DH and DD at our local theme park. It is well shaded and has several water rides to cool down on.

I’m back to work after 10 days off, so that sucks. Baby is moving all the time now, and ds will say hi to her through my belly button.

Appointment tomorrow with the low risk clinic. They’ll probably refer me to the high risk clinic for next month. It’ll be nice to meet my c-section doc in advance and to pick this kid’s birthday!

I'm due April 30th and baby is big enough to make me finally succumb to maternity jeans. Only problem is I have NO ass so they sag in the butt.

Rant- Tummy troubles for the week are finally subsiding. I've unfortunately added coconut milk to the list of "no no foods". I eat one bad thing and it gets me for 2-3 days. But, I am learning what my triggers are so that's good.
Rave- Got a doula and decided to switch practices to a bunch of midwives so that I can have a waterbirth option. And, I signed up for a hypnobirthing class and it was only 200$ which is a steal around here because in CT everything is expensive.

I love paddleboarding! I can usually manage with at least one dog on the board with me. I also love to run in the heat. I know it sounds crazy but the sweat cleaning your system just feels so good afterwards. And my fave summer activity is not working!

First, their scale was out but they didn't figure it out till the end of my appointment and had me weigh in again but on a different one. So for the whole appointment I was freaking out inside thinking I some how lost 13 lbs in a month when I've been fine other than a cold. My appetite has been the same. They kept saying "it's ok that you've lost some weight but we will need to keep an eye on this" and when I tried initially mentioning their scale might be out since it was showing different than mine at home the DR said "oh no, scales are never wrong" and winked at me like she was saying some kind of inside joke. Ugh.
Second, and this was just funny, but it took a solid 2 min to get a good heartbeat read because anytime the Doppler hit skin baby girl would punch, kick and roll around to get away from it. She did NOT want to be spied on lol. My belly was dancing from her and from me trying not to laugh lol.
What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? I have to start cleaning out the guest room and transitioning it to a nursery. This is the only place we have for storage, so literally EVERYTHING is in here. On a positive note, the crib is still up from DS. I just have to find a new home for all of our extra comforters.
