I finally have my next appointment this week on Thursday with the genetic testing and ultrasound!! Can’t wait to see the little guy again! I have my sister coming with me to help with DS seeing he never sits still and it’s hard for me to chase him during appointments. DH has to work

I have a genetic counseling appointment tomorrow morning. I'm still not 100% sure what is actually going to happen at the appointment. From their brief description they will tell me about all the different tests available and I pick if/which ones I want to do. But I don't know if we move ahead with any testing at that point.

Then Thursday I have an appointment w/ my OB, I think it's just a quick pee in a cup, take BP and listen for the heartbeat appointment, no US but hearing the HB will be reassuring.

Thursday I have my nuchal at 12w1d and I think by end of week I’ll have my NIPT bloodwork back. It’s been nearly 3 weeks since I’ve seen the little guy - and I’m a nervous wreck. (The extremely weird dreams aren’t helping).

I have my NT scan today and genetic counseling. We saw baby last Monday so I'm excited to see what a week of growth looks like and also anxious for the results.

So many Thursday appts! How exciting. I'll be 10 weeks and going in for a general appt and a doppler, and I think scheduling the NT scan for hopefully the following week or two, when I'll be 11 weeks. I was hoping for next week but now that I think about it it will probably be the following week at the very earliest, as I won't be 11 weeks until then and the NT has to be between 11 and 13. I just want an ultrasound! lol.

My NT is tomorrow! Nervous, but the first blood test with the genetic stuff was clear. Excited to see little guy again, we didn't get pictures at our 10w scan. They told me I won't be seeing the doctor tomorrow as the NT is done by a technician? Anyway,  I'll be 12w 5d tomorrow. Next appointment is Jan 8th, should be 14w then.

NT scan + bloodwork + genetic testing on Thursday. Little nervous as we didn't PGS test our embryo and I'm 41.  DH & I already did our genetic testing back in June, and we aren't carriers for anything major. And we aren't carriers for the same things either. So fingers crossed that there is no chromosomal abnormalities with our little nugget.

Had my last first trimester appt this morning. Heartbeat was strong at 162, and everything else was great. I also had blood drawn for the genetic testing so I should find out sex in a couple weeks. Yay!

Just got my blood draw results back from the NT and baby is low risk for both trisomies and low for downs

I did PGS embryo testing, so everything should be ok, but my doc still wants me to do Mat21 and the NT scan. Which of course makes me nervous... but I suppose the chance of anything being wrong are completely microscopic. Just another thing to make me anxious :-)

I get to post here today! Had my first appt at the big hospital with the NICU and I think I can get the birth experience I want there-so I am going to go there instead of the birth center! They heard the tiniest flicker of the heartbeat, which was lovely, but couldn't hold on to it for long. I forgot I have a tilted uterus which makes it harder to hear this early. THey are refering me to MFM for the genetic testing because of my DD's heart defect to see what they recommend I do, and they will take care of my appts I guess until my anatomy scan is clear at 18 weeks.

I go in in two weeks to hear the heart beat for sure, although I'm guessing MFM will call me by then. 

It's nice to have a little reassurance with the HB though, however short it may have been!
