I'll start. I started showing my face at the gym again a couple weeks ago (mainly for the childcare) I would just speed walk on the treadmill for 40 minutes. Then I started doing strength classes. I still haven't done a cardio class because my energy is still low but I might do spin today. We shall see.
I haven't been consistent with getting back into a fitness routine. It's becoming a point of stress though, as I'm worried about gaining too much and losing flexibility/muscle etc. I did find a "movement through pregnancy" swim class that's 12 wks long I'm thinking about joining mid January. Thanks for the thread @llamamama14 as I could definitely use some motivation!
I haven't done any workouts since my BFP. For no reason other than sheer laziness. There is a yoga studio that does prenatal yoga that I have thought about getting the free week to try it out but I keep telling myself to wait until after the holidays. Once I do that I will hopefully get back into a routine of twice a week yoga.
I used to walk almost everyday on my lunch break but now that it's cold I haven't been doing that. There is a gym at work so I could do some power walking/jogging on the treadmill. I'm not a runner and I have bad feet so I wont get into that.
If anyone has some links or suggestions for what to do at the gym that would be good. I am usually at a loss so I just fumble around for while and then get bored and leave. Maybe if I go in with a plan it will be more successful.

Thank you for starting this thread! I just went back to Orange Theory yesterday for this first time since October. I had tried to go to the gym on my own for years even getting help from personal trainers to set a program because I had no idea what I was doing. I was never able to stay disciplined so I finally ended up doing classes and found it to be a better fit for me.
Total credit to those who know what they are doing at the gym and can keep at it without someone shouting at them. I need the structure and class environment and someone shouting at me lol.
@ramblebee I tried OT once and it was a great workout but it was definitely intense. What kind of modifications do they recommend? Just taking it easier? We're you a regular at OT before? I'm not sure it's something I could just pick up now but I really liked the class.

@krashke What machines does your work gym have? I either do group classes or solo cardio. I have bad knees so I don't run either. I will power walk on an incline on the treadmill or do a stationary bike or elliptical. If I'm doing a cardio machine I set goals about how long and how intense I'll work out.
@llamamama14 I'm not sure because I've never been in the gym lol!!! From what I can see when I walk by it has all the standard cardio machines and free weights. There's more but I'd have to go in and get a better look.

I definitely need some accountability so maybe this thread will help with that! I started doing prenatal workouts on YouTube at home a few weeks ago, my goal is to do 3x/week. I've missed weeks and days but always feel better when I get my butt moving. It actually helps with my exhaustion and nausea if I'm having some. I did one this morning and feel good. Man I get winded so much easier than before Pregnancy though.
@krashke I’ve just been searching “pregnancy workout” on Pinterest and doing a different routine each time. They’ll usually give you like 5-10 exercises with some instruction. Not nearly as good a workout as a full class would be but better than nothing!
I haven’t really been working out that much due to lack of energy.
I statted doing Beachbody On Demand right before I found out I was pregnant and they do have pregnancy work outs designed for each trimester that are pretty good. The BOD work outs are short and fun and there’s hundreds of different ones to choose from, they also add you to an accountability group if that’s something that will help you. I highly recommend. My energy is back so that’s where I’ll be
I really want to walk, but it’s far too cold and slick here and I can’t being myself to walk at the gym. Maybe an after Christmas treadmill to clutter up my living room even more....
@krashke Yes I've been an OT member for about a year now. I basically power walk instead of run (although I could also do the elliptical) and I do the stationary bike instead of the rowing machine. All the floor exercises have mods that the coaches always go through when they demo. Yday there was only 1 completely different mod I needed so I just asked my coach to tell me what to do. Great workouts, but I am pacing myself the whole time.
I did some squats yesterday and now my inner thighs are too sore to do any more today. So I'd say I had a successful 10 minute workout for these past 3 months. Maybe I'll even do another one before my third trimester.

Good music helps when you're doing cardio.
