Pickles, pickles, and large green olives. I requested it special for Christmas dinner from my dad! He’s so happy to be a first time Grandpa he’s doing to get it for me! Lol
@WorkinWeezel I'm going to sound like an old woman, but start forcing water down whenever you can and drink a GIANT glass of prune juice. It's effing disgusting, so I literally chug the prune juice. If you can't bring yourself to drink the prune juice, mix half a glass of prune juice with half a glass of apple juice. Apple juice has less sorbitol in it (which is the "active" ingredient in prune juice), but it still has a decent amount.
ETA: You can also just try drinking apple juice all day if you can still taste the prune juice in the prune/apple mix.
@beanship thanks! I'v also been told to try Pear juice. I take a stool softener nightly, amd drink more water than ever. I also drink a cup of coffee with fiber dissolved in every day. Ugh. Worse than ever!!!!! I may have to resort to prune juice!!
@WorkinWeezel I may have to check out pear juice! I've had bowel issues my whole life before getting pregnant (they actually went away once I started Metformin though), so I'm no stranger to the prune juice. They give one or two tee-tiny little glasses to constipated old people in nursing homes, but I go for the big guns with a huge glass of it. I tried sipping on it before, which was a huge mistake. You've gotta get it nice and cold, hold your nose, and chug that prune juice like you're a frat boy at a tailgate.
Everything, except for chicken, it's not allowed in the house in any form. And for once, today I don't feel like a starving teenage boy. But no cravings or need to eat anything in particular, at least not yet!
Yesterday I wanted pizza. Tonight when MH heated up the leftovers the smell made me sick. I had a late supper of alternating dipping potato chips and carrot sticks into ranch dressing.
Usually eating healthy or at least trying to because diabetes sucks, but tonight my boyfriend and I went on the first, non-double, out of the house, date we have had in months. My goodness, it was amazing and so needed, anyways we went to dinner and I went ahead and indulged (still took insulin, of course) and had a really great burger and jalapeño cheese fries.. then went to a movie and ate too much popcorn. Getting hungry again lol...
