How far along are you? 

37 weeks 4 days

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? 
I had my 38 week appt today. I'm still only dilated 1cm but my cervix is softening, so there is that.  

Any pregnancy related symptoms this past week? 
ALL THE PRESSURE. Little guy is hanging out low on my hips. Or at least it feels that way because it's been tough to move around with all the pressure on my hips. I am definitely no longer walking - that's for sure. More like waddling lol.

Rants/Raves?
I'm taking this week off work to get last minute stuff done. Baby's room is now 95% done & all necessary baby & postpartum items are purchased. Up next is tackling Christmas present shopping and freezer meal prepping. I'm feeling so darn productive right now!

GTKY: What are your plans for the holidays?
DH and I have already told our families we are not traveling for the holidays. So the only set plans we have is Christmas morning at my parent's as they live 15 mins down the road from us. I'm not sure what is going on with MH's family yet... we might wait until after LO is born and have them come to us.

How far along are you? 
36 weeks, 5 days

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? 
Yep, had one yesterday and it went well! They offered a cervical check but I declined. We'll start doing them next week at 37 +4 and if I haven't started dilating we'll discuss stripping membranes but likely wouldn't actually do it until 39-ish weeks and even then it'll depend on how things are looking. Next appointment is Tuesday!

Any pregnancy related symptoms this past week? 
My lower back and SPD pain have been super fun to deal with and my hips have started to ache occasionally. Thankful though because I'm definitely not as uncomfortable as I always imagined I'd be at this point in pregnancy (but still can't wait to move and breathe normally).

GTKY: What are your plans for the holidays?
We usually travel to either Colorado or Massachusetts depending on whose year it is (my family is in CO and DH's is in MA). This year was supposed to be Massachusetts but obviously that's not happening but since my SIL lives here too, DH's parents decided to travel down so we can all be together. We'll go over for dinner and games with them on Christmas Eve (they own a house here that my SIL lives in) and then back over for gifts Christmas morning. We'll spend Christmas afternoon at home with our pups and then head back over to have Christmas dinner with the family. Christmas day is the only day I'm taking off work so I'll be working the rest of this week and Tuesday-Friday next week. I'm jealous of DH because today is his Friday and then he's just working 1.5 days at the end of next week.

34w5d- my due date is at the end of the month but feeling much more behind everyone now!

Starting to notice some swelling in my fingers and my ring is getting hard to get off which is disappointing

Rant- I chase kids around at work and today was so tiring! Do appreciate all the help my co-workers are offering but I come home so exhausted! 
Rave - clients families have given such sweet Christmas presents- gift cards and baby clothes!

GTKY: What are your plans for the holidays?
DHs extended family is too far away (2.5 hrs) but well spend the 23rd with his immediate family, 24th with my mom's side and 25th with my dad's side. Working tuesday-friday

Yes I was scheduled for Monday but went in Sunday night for a wellness check bcuz everything worries me lol everything looked fine. She's perfect! Next appt the day after Christmas, I'd love for her to make her appearance by then but I can also stay patient. It's all up to my ladybug.

Any pregnancy related symptoms this past week? Inconsistent Braxton Hicks. Getting more painful and less Braxton hicks-y lol just tonight after dtd with my other half my pelvis started feeling sore. Almost bruised lol also been sleeping alot. It's like the first tri with all the hormones spiking.

I can't stand when I call the Dr to tell wuts happening and they tell me it's normal lol wierd I know but every pregnancy is different so I have to be sure.

Any 38 weekers have the sore pelvis feeling and had baby soon after? Or what are some "undocumented" signs of labor I can count on??

GTKY: What are your plans for the holidays?
Hanging out with family. Doing Christmas dinner different this year with lasagna, chicken, salad, and shrimp for finger food. Can't wait!! Hoping baby comes between Christmas and New year's. Not sure on plans for New year's. Maybe I'll be in labor on one of these wonderful days!! Due date is 1.1.18 ftm

@greatvibemama Unfortunately, there are no *sure* signs that labor is imminent (unless your water breaks or you have consistent contractions that get stronger and closer together - although those can slow down and fizzle out too). All of the other signs basically mean labor *could be* coming...or it may be days/weeks.

How far along are you? 

36 weeks, 1 day. Baby is the size of a 2L soda (which seems huge to me! Yowzers!) 

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? 
Just had my weekly appointment today. NST was "excellent" according to the OB (there was a whoooole lot of movin' and shakin' going on in there today), and BPP was good too but I guess I have some excess fluid. Not enough to be considered polyhydramnios, but getting there, so we're doing another ultrasound next week. It makes sense b/c my abdomen is looking more distended, feeling a little tighter, and it was getting a little harder to breathe recently. Baby didn't gain a ton which is awesome! Measuring 7lbs 3oz and 73rd percentile now. 
Any pregnancy related symptoms this past week? 

This pain in my groin on both sides, my belly getting on/off tighter, and a little harder to breathe at times. One of my teenage patients yesterday was walking behind me to my office and she told me I didn't look pregnant from the back and I didn't walk like a pregnant lady, so that's nice to hear I swear, the kids say nicer things than the adults!! haha

GTKY: What are your plans for the holidays?
Went to a Holiday Concert by the LA Philharmonic last weekend, and going to see the Nutcracker Ballet (with live orchestra) this weekend. Just hanging out at home on Christmas Eve, and then going to my parent's house on Christmas day. And you better believe I'll be eating all the food haha

@gilsam1 Sooo jealous of your Nutcracker tickets!  It's one of my favorite!  But I will caution you, we went to Les Mis the other day and my RLS went crazy!  I had the hardest time sitting the whole show...luckily we had box seats so we had extra room but lord I was almost miserable...almost!  But not enough to actually get up or give up my seats lol

@conineml Oh, I love Les Mis!!! One of my favorite musicals. I wouldn't have gotten up either haha
