Upcoming Anatomy Scan -- Excited!!

Hi Ladies!
FTM here. I am so excited to see my baby boy again! My 20 week scan is coming up in a couple weeks!  Tell me about your experience with your anatomy scan!

I'm not sure why i'm having these fears as my first trimester blood screen and NT scan came back screen negative (1/1100). I should be getting the results of the second blood results soon.     Hi, @babykg2018!  Welcome to the board and congratulations!  It's normal to get nervous before we have any type of scan.  I would caution on a post like this though.  It sort of comes across as insensitive because there are ladies on this board who have a real diagnosis of several different things.  They are seeing specialists and in the middle of lots of tests, etc.  I'm sure you didn't mean to be insensitive, but I just wanted you to be aware.

    @babykg2018, I'm sure you didn't mean to (and may not have).  :)  I just know some of these lovely ladies are in the middle of things and are so positive!  Again, welcome to the board!  We're happy to have you.

    Hi @babykg2018, I'm one of the people that got "bad" news at my anatomy scan (two pregnancies in a row, at that), and I wasn't offended by your post. It's best to hope for the best even though there are many things that could show up as worrying. Just don't call it a "gender scan" because then I'd jump down your throat! :) Anyway, there's a thread where everyone's been posting about their anatomy scans here: https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12720899/anatomy-scan-aw-thread
