First time getting an ultrasound before the Dr visit, and it makes me nervous but it's what my doctor requested and I guess it's so she has something to talk about when we meet. Was supposed to do this all today but I had to reschedule due to travel troubles.
I think she'll want to know if we're going to do the MaterniT21, but I want to know if we can delay that until my new insurance kicks in in January.
I'll be bringing my husband and son with me tomorrow, and then both kids on Wednesday. Hopefully my son behaves during the ultrasound--he's too young to understand what's going on and will probably want to run around and grab everything.
Just hoping everything looks good since this is our first look at baby #3!
Had our NT scan today-both babies look good! Also my MIL took a peek at the results of the NIPT testing-still no word from my OB on gender or specific results but she said everything looked good so we are super relieved. That was the last appointment until 1/11-I know it’s pretty soon but I’ve been so spoiled seeing the babies every week
First appointment with my new OB and first "real" prenatal apt (since my old practice the midwife was useless).
So I have my appointment and an US tomorrow! 11w3d I've been super nervous (esp weaning off my anxiety meds) so hopefully this will help put my mind at ease!
I have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow, I think it’s just a check up- I’m not sure if they do an ultrasound- my last appointment was at 6 weeks and they did a Trans US. And my NT US is scheduled for 12/29. My office said they do appointments every 4 weeks until you are at like 24 weeks... so I really don’t know what to expect. I’d really like to see baby again!!!
Going in for ultrasound tomorrow afternoon. Scared about the outcome because of everything that happened with last week. I didnt post on the main board, just the TTGP check in. I went innfor bloodwork last monday. It shouldve been a decent amount as my blood draw 2 weeks earlier showed hcg level of 3498. The one last week ended up only showing 8296, very low and not where it should be. Ultrasound that afternoon ended up showing a baby with a heartrate of 123. Baby only measured 6w 3d when i shouldve been 7w 6d. I had my first ultrasound 2 weeks prior that showed an empty sac measuing 5w 4d. Dr is concerned and not very positive. Hoping and praying that there is a heartbeat tomorrow. No spotting or bleeding. Normal cramping and a little nausea here and there, acne is still present and boobs still sore. So heres to hoping everything is well.

Good luck @busymommy23. I'll be thinking about you. I have my first appointment Wednesday. It's my first prenatal/dating ultrasound, they told me to expect a 3 hour long appointment. I'm nervous but excited. I posted in today's ticker change thread that I'm nervous because symptoms are coming and going. when I had my beta levels checked they weren't concerned, but my mind is in overdrive because it was about a month ago. DH will be joining me thankfully.
I had an appt today! Got to see our little babe and everything looks great! It is so crazy to see how quickly they change, it's an actual wiggly baby in there with arms and legs and everything! My measurements were also back on track so I get to go back to my July 4th due date! Woohoo!
I go the day after Christmas for my NT scan and genetic consult, then January 15th for my next OB appt.
@busymommy23 thinking of you and hoping your appt goes well!
Had my first official ob-gyn appointment today (10w 1d) and it was with a new practice. I felt like I asked a million questions! I was surprised though that my heart rate was really low. Fetal heart rate was great at 161 but mine was 47. I'll see them again in 4 weeks but also scheduling a genetic counselor meeting and a psychiatrist appointment. I liked how my Dr talked about the importance of mental health, not just to deal with postpartum but during pregnancy.
I had another US today at 8+6. Baby measured 8+4 with a heart rate of 180. My RE's nurse practitioner is annoyed because my OBGYN just wanted me to bring copies of this US at 8+6 with me and didn't want to do their own US. I had been concerned about that, and she confirmed my suspicion that it was unusual for an OB to not do their own US. She said it's probably because of insurance but because this is a pregnancy after infertility I'm technically considered high risk so all of my US's are covered if they are coded as high risk. Because she is amazing, she scheduled me for another US at 10+3, which is a week before my OB appointment at 11+3, so that I'll have a more updated US to bring with me.
Thinking about you and sending good vibes your way @busymommy23
I feel like I'm literally the only person who hasn't been offered a NT scan!
Had my NT scan today and got the initial results from the scan back and everything looks great yay!! also I had to laugh at this sleepy baby who did NOT want to wake up haha. I had to do yoga, squats, running in place, coughing finally to wake little apricot up. Once awake baby was moving all over! it is always so amazing to see their little arms wave and feet kick even though I can't feel it yet. I am so grateful and feel so much more connected now Just have to wait for blood draw results now.
I go back in on Thursday for my monthly. I am so happy this one with my OB I havr a big list of questions for her to get advice on like the Major pelvis pain I am already having, delivery and how likely she thinks my body is able to go into labor on it's own, likelihood of baby going into distress again and needing an emergency c section. all things I want to know her opinion on as I decide about delivery.
Thanks @MrsMiller8588!! All of the good vibes from you all was amazing support throughout this past week. Im so happy that baby is good. Drs office called to congratulate me and set up my next appt foe Jan. 2nd!

I had my initial visit and us last week, so going into my appointment today I wasn’t sure what to expect. They sent me a questionnaire yesterday and gave me appointment details: 60 minutes, in procedure room, come with full bladder. Turned out it was just a medical history meeting with a nurse. I definitely did not have to have a full bladder! She said women are always confused by this appointment and she always forgets to tell them they can use the restroom before! It’s something in the way they code their appointments.
Had my NT scan today, everything looks great. Won't get the bloodwork back for another week or so but everything is normal so far. Feels so much more real now!
I had my first appointment on Tuesday. I was super excited and nervous at the same time. I thought Ultrasounds were part o the whole deal.... they are NOT! I was beyond disappointed and cried when I got home. That whole appointment could have been done over the phone!
I was already having a rough week because while we were flying back from Europe we had a layover in Atlanta... I was stuck on the tarmac for 7 hours after a 10 hour flight. We had the worst hotel experience (the first 2 rooms they booked us in already had people in them.) Then Tuesday morning my car wouldn't start. Just an overall crappy day.
I now have a new appointment next week for my ultrasound (will be at 11 weeks 3 days by then)

3 days until my NT scan! I feel like this pregnancy is going by so much faster this time around, not that I'm complaining.
