I had my first US December 5. Going off my Last cycle that would have put me at 8 weeks. I took my pregnancy test November 6. The doctor saw 2 sacs and measured me at 6 wks and 3 days. They drew blood to check my HGC levels. The results came back high, there was no need to check them a 2nd time. I went back for a follow up US 9 days later. I’m still measuring at 6wks 3 days. There’s still 2 sacs 1 baby. He said there was a flicker of a heartbeat. My doctor thinks this is a bad pregnancy and i’m Going to miscarry. I have an appointment with the high risk doctor on Friday. I’m praying that my baby will grow and this pregnancy will turn around. Has anyone else have this happen? What was the outcome? This is our rainbow baby. We lost our son last December at 22 wks 4 days. Praying for a miracle.
Hello, welcome! I see this is your first post on our board. It's not uncommon to have a pregnancy dating behind your LMP but if you got a positive pregnancy on Nov 6th I would have expected you to be further along than 6+3. Im surprised your doctor didn't track your HCG past the one draw. Your doctor would be the best person to make this call, but if there wasn't any growth in 9 days unfortunately I'm not sure the outcome would be positive- but stranger things have happened and it is good you saw a hb. I'm very sorry for your previous loss and I'm hoping for the best for you. We have a wonderful PGAL community on this board and others who completely understand what this feels like, myself included. If you do decide to participate on this board I'd suggest you read the **read first** thread for a little information on how we keep our board organized, threads like this aren't encouraged but I understand your worry. Again, I hope you get better news on Friday. Good luck.
