1) How far along are you? How big is baby?

36 weeks, papaya

2) How are you feeling?

I've been feeling like crap since last night and my back and crotch pain is really starting to ramp up.

3) Any appointments this week/last?

Had one on a Wednesday and after an initial scare with a high BP reading everything was fine. Had the GBS swab and got my results today - negative!

Next appointment is Tuesday and I expect it to just be BP, urine sample, and checking her heart rate. I'll probably decline a cervical check if offered.

4) How are baby preparations going?

Done I think.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?

None.

6) GTKY - What pregnancy symptom are you most looking forward to being done with?

Mostly just the general discomfort but right now I cannot wait for the back and SPD pain to go away! Also can't wait to breathe normally and not have acid reflux anymore.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby?

37 weeks! He is as big as a head of lettuce.

2) How are you feeling?

Uncomfortable but it could always be worse so no complaints here. 

3) Any appointments this week/last?

37 week appt this past Tuesday. Doctor checked me and I'm 1 cm dilated... So it doesn't look like I'll be having a Christmas baby. But that's fine because I'm not quite ready for him to come yet.

4) How are baby preparations going?

His room is mostly complete. I ordered curtains, along with a few missing items from our registry today. I'm also taking the entire week off next week to deep clean the house, do laundry, make freezer meals, etc. Overall I'm feeling so much more prepared for him. Everything I get done from here on out is a want not a must.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?

My dad's side of the family tends to be over step boundaries and I just found out my uncle and his wife (on my dad's side) are planning on coming after the new year. I'm really worried they will be around for little guy's birth... meaning they will want to visit us in the hospital. DH and I already decided we want to keep guests to a minimum and would rather people visit us when we get home. We just want to spend LO's first day bonding as a new family. So now I have to figure out how to politely say to them, you're not welcome at the hospital if we deliver while you're here. 

6) GTKY - What pregnancy symptom are you most looking forward to being done with?

Probably the insane amount of pressure LO is putting on my body. Sometimes it feels like he has his arms jammed in my pelvis and legs in my lungs. It'll be so nice to be done with that. Although I'm sure I'll miss him moving around, so catch 22 right there.

A fashionably late check-in..

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 36w, cabbage patch doll

2) How are you feeling? Insomnia has been kicking my butt. That, combined with the insane acid reflux, DS dropping so far into my cervix it feels like he's going to fall out, and a cold I caught from DD, and I'm ready to be DONE.

3) Any appointments this week/last? After a mix-up at my OB office, I start weekly visits this Tuesday. 36 week appt with GBS swab.

4) How are baby preparations going? My hospital bag is basically finished. Just need to add a couple things for DH and we should be set!

appt this Friday for 36w, get to find out if these braxton hicks/contractions are making me dilate!! woo

basically done, started packing the hospital bag.

I just want to be able to sleep again, and I know I won't be able to when she comes either. So please sleep gods, let me get some comfy sleep before baby girl arrives!!!
