My daughter NEVER wants to be held...unless I'm holding another kid. Then, I hand the kid off, pick up DD, and she's ready to get down immediately. So, basically, she doesn't WANT to be held, she just doesn't want me holding ANYONE else.
Ugh, I cried this morning at a news clip about a family who fosters babies born with fatal illnesses. And last week at a video about an orphanage in Africa.

Because our vacuum cleaner isn't working and we have pine needles everywhere. (And the shop vac is in use elsewhere).
