Unfused Amnion and Chorion

December 2017 in 2nd Trimester

I'm 17 + 3 and I found out today that my son's Amnion is not fused with the chorion. I'm nervous because the doctor just kept saying we are hoping to make it to 24-28 weeks before possible preterm delivery.

She did say that it is likely it could fuse by our next u/s on 1/3. I just need some worry taken off my shoulders.

Any other moms out there that have/had it?
