Hi Everybody,

It's checkin time, congratulations to any BFP's and hugs to anybody who needs one.

Congratulations to @mac627 and @MicahDahn for your BFP!!  Moving forward, I'm going to put an asterisk people with a BFP but waiting for doubling betas before graduating.

Followup on baby-related ads: I sent last week's thread to the marketing director, who did read it.  I hope that we will see some changes ads sometime in the future.

Today I'm 3DPIUI.  I have a meeting with my Dr tomorrow morning to discuss "next steps" in case this cycle doesn't take.  I expect she will tell me we have 1-2 more IUIs (we've had 4, but initially she had said we could do a total of 5-6) and then we'll have to call it quits.  She knows we're not seriously considering IVF--we both agree that we would prefer to go the adoption route if those are our only choices.  I'm just dreading the meeting overall.  I want to keep this "maybe next month" hope alive a little longer.

Had a friend tell me last night that the reason these treatments aren't working is probably b/c I'm too tense.  I know she meant well--it's hard to know what to say in these circumstances--but that kind of crap just makes me feel guilty.  Like maybe I'm doing this to myself; maybe if I just got all zen about it, then it would work.  Ugh.

Oh, and we've found 2 mice in the house in the past 36 hours.  #panic  The cats are taking care of them for the most part, but I feel super gross and I can't walk around my house without shoes now.

QOTW: Currently?  Or in the past?  It's a toss-up between low-rise jeans (nobody wants to see that) and those platform flip-flops of the '90s/early 2000s.  Generally I scoff at anything uncomfortable.   :D

  • Hey ladies! Sorry I have been MIA lately, things are a little busy over here. My work schedule this school year is nuts so I don’t have as much time during the day. And I’ve been going to the gym (at least trying to) 3-4 nights a week, which is seriously interfering with my bump time!

@soehlerk  don’t let what your friend said make you feel guilty. I know that’s easier said than done. I hate it when people give me “advice” that is really not at all helpful so I know what you mean about it being hard to know what to say. It’s like, I really want to tell them what I really think about their “advice” but I try and remind myself that unless they’re in this IF World, they reallly do not get it or know any better, so I try (TRY) to be patient most of the time. And ugh, good luck with the mice problem!  :s

AFM: Things are progressing to start IVF hopefully in January. It will really depend on what this cycle does. I can’t go on birth control so if the timing works out of when AF gets here I can join the January group, if not my RE said he will make it work for February. I did some testing yesterday, most notably a hysterscopy which wasn’t a whole lot of fun, but I guess not much of this process really is. We are meeting with the RE next Friday to go over the testing results, protocol, and hopefully order meds!

QOTW: Crocs are pretty bad. Although I do agree that platform flip flops are also awful lol.

  • Hi ladies I’m CD17 and my body decided to act like a normal woman this month. I dug out my OPKs, got a high on cd14, peak on CD15 and BD 14,15,16. Hoping we are that lucky couple that gets KU right before we move to IVF. Ordered my meds from Turkey on Friday and they were delivered to my office before 10am on Monday - like wow! I’m feeling optimistic & powerful for the first time in years & I never want this feeling to go away. My friend sent me this meme today and I love it! I shared it on the IVF board but can’t help posting it again here

  • Hello,

I decided to start posting last month in the infertility board and thought I'd join over here too. It actually kind of helps me to talk about my issues with people who understand. TW - child mentioned- I do have a daughter who was our miracle after 3 heartbreaking years. End TW.

We have now been trying to get pregnant for 2 years. We have been seeing a fertility specialist since June. Initially I had cysts on my ovaries that needed to resolve, but not enough to call it PCOS. Officially we have unexplained infertility. Then we did 3 cycles of medication and timed intercourse. We are now preparing to have our second iui this week. I did letrozole for days 3-7, had an ultrasound to check follicles today, will trigger tonight, and iui Thursday morning.

QOTW: I hate leggings. They are okay under a skirt/oversized shirt/sweater dress or around the house, but too many people wear them as pants that really should not do so.

  • @soehlerk congrats on not punching that friend in the face.....goodness.  I know people think they're being helpful with comments like that but OMG.  You are not doing ANYTHING wrong.  Please repeat that to yourself and try to let go of any guilt!!!!!!!!  I will be crossing my fingers for your next appointment, friend.

@Kim41313 FX for January and for good results from your hysterscopy!  Or just for results...haha.  Am I the only one who gets really pissed off with "normal" test results?  My husband and my family are always like "isn't that good....?"  and I'm like NO I NEED A REASON THIS IS HAPPENING, haha.  Anyway.  FX, haha!

@lablover78 Helllllllllll yes!  I love it!!!!!!!!!  FX for a surprise this cycle!!!!!!!!  I love that meme and I totally agree with you about the "cold shoulder" trend, haha

Hi, @kgabhart!  FX for your IUI!

AFM, I posted just today in the old thread but will repeat...I am feeling super frustrated today (lingering sadness from my birthday that I posted about yesterday -- thanks for the love there!) but I am on CD17 and never got a positive OPK...after doing Letrozole CD3-7.  I have always O'd right on time using Letrozole so I'm a little concerned/annoyed and hoping it was just a fluke with the tests.  We have been BD a lot so I am just trying to let it go and wait.  But I HATE not really knowing if/when I ovulated because when the heck do I start POAS????? haha.  Crossing my fingers and toes for a Christmas surprise.  If not though we are heading back to a specialist..I kind of hate the idea of "starting over" but we def won't go back to our last one (we have been working with my OBGYN since my miscarriage last year) but I think it might be time to start talking about IVF.  Blah.

  • @soehlerk not sure how I missed the comment from your friend. Those comments are the worst. You are not doing anything wrong!! Hugs and try not to beat yourself up too much- I know that feeling well.

@BWhitta sorry friend- maybe someone is forcing you to step back for a few days and you never know! I think revisiting a specialist is a good plan.

  • @soehlerk ugh that's so frustrating. It's awful when you get the "you just need to relax more" people. Those comments don't help and just make you feel worse.

@lablover78 good luck! I hope this is your cycle, and I hope that amazing feeling stays too :) (good meme too!)

@BWhitta how frustrating for you! Hopefully your new specialist will be the right one for you :)

AFM, having a pretty awful week to be honest. I've been struggling a bit with depression and getting trapped in my own head.. I don't know how I'll cope with another BFN. I really admire how some of you have been doing this for so long. I constantly feel like I can't keep going, but the thought of not trying is even worse. It's a constant stream of anger and frustration (although I'm sure a lot of you understand where I'm coming from).
I'm 7dpo (CD24) today. The blood test today showed that I ovulated, and that my progesterone levels are good, so I'm going to POAS on Sunday (11dpo).. just hoping and wishing with everything I have that we get our BFP for xmas.

  • @tops-2 there is nothing easy about this journey.  When I think about the last two years it is just a blur of blood tests, POAS, crying, worrying, depression....if I dig a little I can remember the good things, but I do have to dig.  When my birthday was coming up I told my husband that I was thinking about my last birthday and how I don’t feel like I’ve accomplished a single thing this year...I can probably count on one hand the things I thought about other than infertility.  It is exhausting and consuming, there’s just no way around it.  I’m actually really open publicly about my journey (on social media) which really helps, it instantly connects me with women, especially mothers, who know exactly what I’m going through.  Talking to women who have gone through it and now have their babies is really therapeutic for me.  It also helps bc I see how different they are as mothers...they are the ones that you will never see doing the “funny” posts about how annoying and hard motherhood...I know that going through this is shaping me into the kind of mother I want to be...more patient and grateful than if I didn’t have to go through this.  Hang in there friend, I am certainly praying that you will get that BFP for Christmas!

@soehlerk I'm glad you're being proactive about meeting with your RE while you're still in your cycle.  It's really frustrating when you have to wait until after your cycle because then it's another cycle-length delay.  I am sorry that you're at a point where you need to make a decision about whether or not to carry on.  If it helps, we did 6 IUIs before IVF and I'd probably do that again, given the choice, because I feel like we tried everything before moving on.  It's all about what's going to make you feel most comfortable and if you think you'll have any regrets if you don't keep trying.

RE: the friend--ugh.  At this point I'd probably slap someone if they told me it was because I didn't relax.  I know it was probably because she didn't know what else to say and just wants you to feel hopeful, but still.  People don't realize that it actually hurts a lot because it implies that it's your fault that it's not happening, when it really isn't.  And in fact, a diagnosis of infertility just makes it more stressful.  As my therapist has said repeatedly, they've done studies (not that I could quote these) that show that anxiety is not a cause of infertility.

For the mice, I feel your pain!  (This, coupled with  my bed bugs of last week, makes it sound like I live in a pest-infested hovel, but really I just live in a very old building in NYC.)  Do you have an idea of where the mice are coming from?  If you can find the holes, stuff them with steelwool (I recommend the steelwool kitchen sponges, but you can get steelwool from the hardware store, too.  It just splinters more.)  At least your cats are proving themselves good mousers!

@Kim41313 That's great that you're looking to January for IVF!

@lablover78 I loved that meme on the IF board, and I love it here, too. :) Thanks for sharing!

@kgabhart Welcome!  Good luck with your IUI tomorrow!

@BWhitta I saw your birthday post and I am heartbroken for you.  I think we can all commiserate on the pain of having yet another birthday come and go, when you thought for sure you would at least be KU by then or, better yet, have your baby.  I'm sorry it ruined your birthday, or at least your birthday morning.  There's not really anything I can say to make that better, but it's ok to wallow and be sad.  Lots of hugs!!

@tops-2 "I constantly feel like I can't keep going, but the thought of not trying is even worse." EXACTLY.  I think it's the latter part of that sentence that drives us all forward.  I know how you understand.  After our last FET, the thought of trying it all again--but more specifically waiting through the TWW--was more than I could bear.  But there's always that little inkling of hope that something will work, and so we all press on.  It doesn't feel like it, but you will make it through, even if you have to cry and scream, and be very angry (and dare I say tense and stressed out, even if all our friends and loved ones would chastise us for that).  Good luck this weekend! <<HUGS>>

AFM Just waiting.  I got my records from my current RE, so I need to sift through them and send the appropriate files to my second opinion doc, probably next week.  Meantime, we're proceeding as if we're doing January IVF with my current clinic (which is probably what will happen), so I guess our billing coordinator is working with my insurance (which will inevitably deny pretty much everything because IVF is not covered.  But my plan says they do cover injectibles so you better believe I'm going to be pushing for that.).  I suppose I should call her next week if I haven't heard anything.

ETA @goldenkeys Thank you for sorting out the adds!  Just today I was seeing adds for what I think might have been honeymoons, which I much prefer. :)

QOTW I second the leggings as pants.  Leggings are not pants.  I have no problem with them as a tights substitute, though.

  • Hey Ladies,
    I am 4dpt, 3dpo, and 2dpiui.

Af is supposed to arrive Christmas day, but I plan to start testing around the 21st/22nd which will be 12/13dpt, so hopefully I will know if this cycle worked or not before Christmas day.
If a miracle happens and this cycle does work, I plan on putting the positive test with the elf and have my husband find it Christmas morning.
Oh what a wonderful gift it would be.

  • @soehlerk ugh I hate those comments - my mom used to tell me that but now knows its not a helpful thing to say.  Don't blame yourself at all - you are doing everything you can to make this happen and that should be recognized!!

@Kim41313 Congrats on hitting the gym so much!  I'm working on doing that as well, though over the holidays I've been horrible!  Good luck with the IVF in January!

@lablover78 I hope you dont need those meds and get lucky this month!  I'm right there with you cycle wise, I hope this december is a lucky month for a bunch of us!!

@kgabhart Welcome and good luck with your IUI tomorrow!

@BWhitta I totally get that frustrated feeling - I've been down a bit this week as well.  It always tends to hit me midway through the TWW, that feeling like its prob not gonna happen again this month coupled with that hope that theres that little chance it might!  Hopefully your OPK tests were a fluke and you did O - last month we skipped the OPKs and I was a mess, it drove me nuts not knowing where I was with my cycle!  Even with the OPKs its different than when I was doing monitoring at my REs office, it was nice knowing exactly how many follicles and how big, etc...!

@tops-2 I'm also 7dpo and feeling you on the rough week.  I think its that mid TWW - getting over the hump before you can poas.

AFM - I'm 7dpo today and itching to test but waiting until at least Monday.  This week has been somewhat rough, just up and down mood wise.  I love the holidays so I'm trying to focus on that but its hard when things remind me I could be pregnant and enjoying the holidays.  We were shopping at the mall over the weekend and came across a stall that was selling personalized ornaments and of course they had an entire section of "we're expecting!" ornaments.  :-(   Was able to keep pretty busy though - this week is dragging though.  Next week we find out our year end bonuses, may find out other news at work, and I can take a pregnancy test.  I just want to cut this week out and get to next monday!  On the bright side we are getting our Christmas tree this weekend and taking our puppy to get a pic with Santa so that should be fun :)  We are also having a "sleepover" at my sister in laws house, we will bring Lily (our puppy) and she can play with their dogs and the humans will have a nice night to relax , watch movies and chill.

  • Fingers crossed for you, @Knottie1467155066 and @thothscribe81!!!!!!!!!!

Question....have any of you ever ovulated late on Letrozole/Femara?  I’ve always ovulated on CD14 or 15, but I’m on CD18 now and I don’t think I’ve ovulated yet.  I’m feeling the pain in my ovaries now and my OPKs pretty dark today...ugh.  My stupid RE that I ended up hating once told us that the egg was too old after CD14 for “his liking” and that it was harder to fertilize.  Do we think he was full of it?  Haha.

  • @bwhitta I always tend to ovulate late - sometimes as late as cd19 or cd20, on femara it slowly is helping me get closer to cd15 - this cycle I O'd on cd17 (possibly cd18, i felt O pain both days).  So I wouldn't worry about it being to late!  I know a lot of ladies have a bit later ovulation and even with meds a cycle can fluctuate a bit from cycle to cycle.  It sounds like you are gearing up to ovulate and it'll just be a bit of a later one this cycle!  And I wouldn't worry about the egg thing - I've never ovulated before CD16 and my RE never said anything about my eggs being to old to bother with.  In fact on multiple occasions he waited until my follicles were just a little bit bigger before triggering (when I was doing monitored cycles).  I feel certain he woudnl't have done that if my eggs were to "old" after a certain cycle day!  Hang in there and hopefully you'll get that positive OPK tonight!!!!
    Bababatty
  • Thanks, @thothscribe81, I actually just got a good dark OPK so I think tomorrow is the day!  In my head I would think that the egg wouldn’t release until it’s ready so it should be at the right stage whenever it releases...right?  Haha, idk, I have too many “experts” voices in my head, haha.

  • Hi Ladies!

@BWhitta I read your birthday post and Ive felt the same way, like what did I accomplish this year. We've been on this journey now for just over four years and it baffles me that I can be 33 without having a full term pregnancy. I think what you're feeling is totally normal as this process is so emotional and exhausting. i'm sorry for all you've been through over the last year...you're a tough lady!

@soehlerk people just don't realize how rude those comments are but they hurt so much. If relaxing were the key to this whole mess I'm pretty sure we'd all have gotten KUd before we reached the point of having to think/stress about it.

Im mobiling so I can't remember what to respond to everyone, sorry about that & hugs to anyone out there who needs one.

AFM Im currently CD33 with no idea when i Od. Last cycle was 31 days and the 4 before that were 35 days so im sure I could test now but I don't really feel like it. I have no symptoms and we only BDd a handful of times so it would be a complete surprise if I was KU.

QOTW: Not really a fashion trend but I don't understand the girls that do shaved head on one side, long hair on the other OR long hair on top with it shaved underneath. Not my thing I guess.

  • @soehlerk glad you're meeting with your RE before your next cycle even starts - way to be proactive! I hope these IUIs work for you since you're not considering IVF. Totally get wanting to keep the hope alive. There's always a fine line between want to know and don't want to know... Maybe this @ with your RE isn't even necessary bc you're PG now!! FX for you! You deserve a happy Christmas present.

@Kim41313 ugh a hysteroscopy is definitely NO FUN. I've had a couple. But my RE actually thinks if you do it within 2 months before IVF it actually helps the embryo stick, so fx for you in January!

@lablover78 hope you're that lucky one!! You never know! I felt optimistic too when I decided to start IVF and got my meds - so exciting!! Hopefully you won't even need them.  ;)

@kgabhart welcome. Good luck with the IUI tomorrow!

@BWhitta fx for a Christmas surprise! Sounds like a good idea to move on to an RE though. Best decision I made for sure. My obgyn meant well but just didn't know as much.

@tops-2  I’m sorry you’re having such a rough week. Hope this TWW goes quickly for you and you get a happy surprise for the holidays!

@Bababatty  sounds like you’re making all the right moves! Hope this next IVF is the one for you!

@thothscribe81 hope this Monday comes quick for you! Your weekend sounds fun though so hopefully that will make it fly by!!

@SoonToBeMommaHowe keeping my fx for you!!

  • Congrats to you, @tinabell8!  What a fantastic way to enter the holidays.

Thanks, all for your encouragement.  The appt w/ the RE was emotional but good.  She walked in, sat down, and said, "I have no idea why you're not pregnant," and I burst into tears.  How embarrassing.  She gave me the IVF talk and a form to fill out to get the insurance #s on IVF, but she was fully supportive of us pursuing adoption.  She said she'd ask around for some names of some adoption agencies past clients had used.

But ultimately with continuing the IUIs--she said it's really up to me.  She'll do as many as we need in order to feel like we've done everything in our power to get pregnant.  I was surprised; I thought she'd cut me off at some point (and I'm sure she would eventually).  I told her we're planning on doing 2 more for a total of 6, and then we might call it.  But she definitely still has high hopes for success in this cycle.  I guess now I'm nervous b/c I didn't expect to have to be the one to make this call.  (I should say "we"--but I know DH tends to follow my lead.)  Anybody else have to make this call?  How many unsuccessful IUIs before you say "enough is enough"?

  • @soehlerk Its awesome your RE is so supportive!  We have a really great RE as well.  He didn't necessarily cut us off - when we went back in a few months ago after taking a small (mental and financial) break - he reviewed all of our test results with us and basically said he was going to be upfront about it.  There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my eggs, there is definitely nothing wrong with DH sperm (he's got super sperm apparently).  My tubes are clear and my internal workings all seem fine.  He basically said that us doing IUI - and having them place the sperm in a good place to "catch" the egg - wasn't doing anything that us trying naturally was doing.  He advised that while he would do IUI with us, he would rather us save the money (he prescribed Femera just to help with my follicles growing which did seem to be an issue when we first started treatment) but his opinion was that IVF was going to be the thing that would help us the most as the problem seems like its in the fertilization, not the inner workings in general.  With my age (36) he suggested that we save for IVF and try that path, as if we want to have more than one child, even if we did get pregnant with IUI (which he felt we had as much chance to get pregnant with timed intercourse) we would run into the same issue down the road.  With IVF at least they could harvest and freeze my eggs now, so that when I'm 38 or 39 and want another child (if we are lucky enough to conceive in the next year or so) we at least have the option of going back for another IVF if we are having trouble again, and the eggs will be younger and healthier.  So ultimately we decided to stop IUI because we felt saving money for IVF (and adoption as we did make a decision that we are only going to do 2 rounds of IVF and then look into adoption) was the better option for us.  I hated not being able to have that "safety net" of the monitored visits and the assurance of when i ovulated and when the sperm met egg - but we do have a plan moving forward, we just have to get the money saved to see it through!

Sorry for the long post!!!!  I hope you are able to keep trying a little longer and that you get a winter surprise in the next month or two!!!!!!

  • Congratulations @tinabell8! I’m so happy to hear your update!

    @mac627 How are you doing?

@soehlerk I think most clinics would put either a hard stop or strongly encourage you to stop with the IUIs after 6 rounds. We did 6 and DH wanted to do more (because we both felt that the first 3, which were before we treated his motility issues, were a waste of time). But I was done at that point, and our RE said it was clear sperm and egg were not connecting and that IUI was not the ticket. I suspect your RE would cut you off at some point, but it sounds like you want to do at least 2 more and I think that’s a good decision for you.

  • Hi ladies, so I met with my friend and her husband was really not supportive of the surrogacy for extremely valid reasons surrounding her health. I didn’t realize the extent of her risks with rupturing when she was pregnant. I’m a little nervous about it being a success with my own uterus but feel relieved that the decision is not my own- I am a second-guesser and would always be wondering if I should have taken her up on her offer. Now we wait for AF or a natural BFP this month

  • @soehlerk Do not feel guilty!! Even my own doctor....both I've been too in fact, have said there is no significant effect that stress has on IF or the outcome of treatments. There is literally no one who can go through what you are going through without being stressed. Glad your RE appointment went so well and that your RE was so supportive.

@Kim41313 Fx that you can start in January!

@lablover78 Wow that was fast delivery! Love that meme!

    @kgabhart Welcome

@BWhitta Sorry you are having such a rough time. And it's not just you.....it irritates me beyond belief that we have no reason why!

@tops-2 Sorry you are having a bad week :(

@ Bababatty Its nice that your insurance covers injectibles. Every little bit helps!

    @tinabell8 congrats!!

AFM: Had our last pre IVF appointment Wednesday and signed consent.   Any one else who has done IVF, did they have you take Valium for the embryo transfer? They have me taking it.....I also got an order for Oxycodone for after the egg retrieval which intrigues me as I have never taken anything stronger than Tylenol in my entire life.

Lupton injections start Saturday. Not going to lie, I'm a little nervous because I've read it can cause headaches which I already have a problem with.

  • @hoffmanr7 getting close!!! I took Valium for the transfer. My RE thinks it helps. It supposedly relaxes you and your uterus, etc. I experienced much less cramping during the transfer than with my IUIs so it was probably bc of the Valium! I didn’t take any pain meds besides Tylenol after the ER and didn’t feel like I needed anything stronger than that. Was just tired and sore. A heating pad was my best friend all day! I guess it’s good to have just in case though. Hope the Lupron doesn’t give you headaches!

@mac627 I’m so glad to hear things seem to be progressing well! Good luck with your next u/s.  <3

@lablover78 I did not get Valium or oxycodone for either of those procedures. I have heard of people getting Valium, though, so it’s not unusual. I might request it for my next SHG. I was very nervous about my ER because my uterus throws a temper tantrum if you so much as look at it wrong, but I had pretty much no pain. Obviously everyone’s different, but I was pleasantly surprised, and hopefully you will be, too!

@hoffmanr7 Yaay! Good luck with the lupron! I’ve no advice for the headaches but hopefully yours won’t be too bad.

  • Hi everyone! I'm new to these boards and posted an introduction as well.

    1.  How long have you been TTC? 5 years, but just recently started seeing RE
    2.  What is your diagnosis? DH: low sperm count, Me: low AFC
    3.  What is your current Rx plan? Just had an HSG for the first time a week ago and I'm currently in the TWW (1 DPO by LH surge along). Planning to followup with my RE next month to talk about medication/IUI.

  • Thank you so much everyone for your kind words. I'm so, so grateful to have found this group of incredibly supportive women. I'm feeling a little bit back to normal today - even got some housework done :) Work has been exhausting lately, so that plus the heat at the moment and the TWW all just got to me at once I think. We're having days of 42 degrees+ here at the moment, and some nights aren't dropping below 30 so I think we're all a bit pooped down here :)

Stay cool @tops-2! I’m glad you’re feeling a bit better now. It’s so strange to hear how warm it is for you, but then you’re in summer and we’re in winter right now so I’ll just have to live with the bitterish cold for now. :)

  • @MicahDahn I am so sorry. *hugs*

First day of Lupron and so far so good, no headache thus far. Had a bit of a stab in the gut while on Facebook today though.

Several months back while out for girls weekend with my mother in law and sisters in law, we met up for dinner with some of DH's cousins. One had made a comment about she and her husband trying with no success. Something about her tone made me reach out to her after dinner privately. Turns out they hadn't really been trying long, jus several months (under 6). I gave her some advice, told her not to worry unless it gets to a year and that she can talk to me whenever, telling her a little about our journey. She thanked me again a couple of months later and informed me they were pregnant. Fucking of course. And of course today.....the day I start my injectibles, they post their announcement on Facebook. I knew it had to be coming soon, but still......damn.

I am determined to not let it bother me too much. I had an awesome night with friends last night, we are going to have a nice dinner with other friends tonight, there's really yummy left over Apple pie in my fridge, and I keep repeating that post from you @lablover78 Screw you IF, I'm about to light this bitch up!

  • Aw @hoffmanr7 I haven’t been able to scroll through facebook newsfeed for a couple of years now. I just stopped doing so and my friends know they can tag me and eventually I’ll see it but I couldn’t handle the gut punches. Love your attitude!!! Get it girl. Glad to here so far so good with the Lupron- you’re about a month ahead of me so I’ll me waiting for your updates!

Not sure who who wrote that when they see a pregnant person or hear an announcement etc that they just say that will be me someday....I’ve started doing that and I think it’s working. Instead of feeling instantly upset I’ve started saying that multiple times in a row to myself and I’m hoping it’s just retraining my knee-jerk reaction. We’ll see!
