This thread is going to get me in trouble because im going to want to make allll the cookies. This is my go to cookie for the holidays. Super simple, buy the premade square chocolate chip cookies, put them in a mini cupcake pan then shove a mini reeces in the middle while its still warm. *Heaven*

I used to be a pastry cook until I hurt my back, so I have a bajillion cookie recipes. I'm gonna see if I can find my mom's kolacky recipe, though.

Hi ladies. I usually hang in the IF thread but I saw cookies so here I am!! I'm not a huge baker but I love me a good soft cookie. This has been one of my favorites. Everyone always raves about them anytime I've made them. And obviously they're healthy bc they have bananas in em! So if you have really really ripe bananas...totally make these cookies!

These are my go to cookie for Christmas. I love the cherries with chocolate, and the oats help me lie to myself that its healthy.

@catlady2015 those sound delicious. I just made an lemon poppyseed shortbread cookie. It's a great cookie with hot tea. The thyme sounds amazing

@50wife Who can resist a cookie thread?  Bananas make everything healthy My go-to super soft chocolate chip cookie is as follows:

2 sticks softened butter
1/4c white sugar
3/4c brown sugar
—beat together
2 eggs
1t baking soda
2t vanilla
1 sm pkg instant vanilla pudding mix
—add & beat
2 1/4c flour
—add & beat
1 pkg chocolate chips

CHILL before baking at 350 for 8-12 minutes. 

I have made the peppermint cookies @Augusta108 poster & they are good!

@jrm_14 Thanks   I love soft cookies!  I'll definitely be trying those.  I like the addition of pudding, I've never done that with cookies before.

@50wife I have played around with different flavors of pudding. Sometimes I will do chocolate mix with mint chips.

The traditional standard favorite for me: Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies!

I use Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips instead of the semi sweet and I skip the nuts.

I also make traditional sugar cookies because they are yummy and fun to decorate:

I make a simple icing with powdered sugar and a bit of milk, and then use food coloring. Sprinkles are a fun addition.

And finally, DW's (and my father's) favorite, the peanut butter blossom:

I always end up chasing people out of the kitchen when I make these because everyone pilfers my Hershey kisses the second I unwrap them. Save them for the cookies, folks!!! They're even better when they're melted into the hot cookies.
