  • @SmashJam I think it would help! I never had one for the infant seat. I don’t think one I have would come up high enough for those massive up the back blowouts though, I wonder if infant seat inserts would have more coverage.

    • How often do you drive/do you use your carseat as a carrier: I used it daily, I so miss being able to transfer a sleeping kiddo in that thing instead of trying to pick up a sleeping toddler from her convertible car seat.
    • Favorite [carseat]: I had the Chicco Key Fit with DD since we got the Chicco Bravo travel system. It was pretty Chiccoreg KeyFitreg 30 Infant Car Seat in Lilla

    • Cost (either actual dollar amount, or just $, $$, $$$, etc.):
    • What you like about it: Easy to clip in and out of the car seat base and stroller base, works with my Bob
    • What you don't like about it, if anything: kind of hard to disassemble for washing, we also had issues with the canopy at the end
    • Is there a [carseat] you don't have but are considering? Why?: We just bought the Cybex Aton Q foir this baby. I really love the safety features and the quality. We mainly got it because it works with the Bugaboo Donkey.

    • Is there a [carseat] you've tried that you absolutely hate? Why?:
    • Additional thoughts on [carseats]: We traveled with our car seat a lot and gate checked it for numerous flights so it got pretty beat up. I know that it is recommended to replace a car seat after a car accident but I've heard that the beating that a car seat can take being gate check can also compromise its integrity and function.

  • @SmashJam so the nextfit is basically something that works from birth on, and that you don't have to replace? I think my reasoning to get the key fit is that I need it to attach to the stroller, I'm guessing with this one you can't do that, right?
  • I’m reallly liking the Chico Fit2. It’s the infant seat that has newborn and older baby setting. Has anyone used it?
  • @kissableviv yeah the next fit is the convertible and would not leave your car to attach to a stroller, and you would have it from birth on. But they do have a key fit zip that has the removeable cover as well.
