were going to a holiday light so tonight with my family which I’m so excited about! But then dinner afterwards and it’s going to be hard to hide not drinking. It’ll be interesting!

I'm going to yoga this morning, errands, then seeing a couple friends. We haven't told anyone yet and my DH is dying to tell these two bc it's his bff.. I'm not sold yet but we probably will spill the beans.

Ugh, bad start to my weekend. Went out of town for a wedding. Rode with my parents but we had separate hotel rooms, or so I thought! This hotel cancelled my reservation! I sure as hell didn’t cancel it. I don’t understand how this happens. So DS and I spent the night on a crappy roll out bed in my parents room. So now my tailbone pain is slowly killing me. I thought I had a few more months before then. Now I’m just afraid my mom will offer me ibuprofen, which I’ll have to turn down, and then I’ll give myself away. FX she doesn’t. I wish I had some Tylenol or a heating pad or something. I’m calling the chiropractor first thing Monday!

We told our nanny to put packages addressed to me in one closet, packages addressed to DH in another. DH and I discussed this. What does he do last night? Goes in the closet with packages addressed to me without thinking (before I was even home) and promptly sees part of his gift. I'm so mad!

Oh, another random: A good friend/colleague and I were at a work lunch yesterday and she asked me to go out for a drink after. I turned to her with a funny face and said "I can't." She freaked out quietly and then we went out for a tea where she was over-the-top excited. It was so fun. She was 44 when she had her first and only and our kids are exactly 6 months apart. So she's understanding about it being so early. I won't tell anyone else quite yet, but it was SO fun to spend some time just being excited and talking with someone about it!

@vinerie grrr that'd annoy me too!! (Even though I was the one who peeked at DHs gift for me!) but that's exciting that you got to tell your friend! I'm dying to tell people!! Must...wait...more...time!!

That sucks @lalala2004 I can't imagine how a hotel would make the error.  Hopefully you'll get a better night's sleep today.

The plan for us tonight is to head to Turtleback Zoo for their holiday lights display but it's currently snowing so it's now a wait-and-see game.

@morgantu dinner out! We actually did dinner at a friends last night and I brought sparkling grape juice but first I soaked the bottle and scraped the label off, seemed to work! 

Im not even 4 weeks yet, how is the morning sickness already setting in?!

@shri929 idk but it started about 4.5 with DS and already having some with this one at 4.2 mostly in evening after 7

DH Work Christmas party. Which, on one hand will be a lot of fun, on the other hand sound cold and exhausting. Hoping I won’t run into friends that will notice my lack of drinking, but I’ll just say I’m letting DH drink it up tonight.

We're having a lazy day at home. Just waiting for the snow to start. We'll probably play in the snow and then come inside to make Ninja Bread Cookies. My 4 year old has been so excited to make them all week.

Currently snuggling in bed with my two monsters, watching Stardust. Plans for the day include snuggles, naps, laundry.

I’m dreading this week. H is out of town, so no help with DS. We’re potty training (limited success), and I have a crazy work schedule. Can’t enjoy this weekend, because I’m trying to get so much done before taking H to the airport tomorrow.

Today DH and I are cleaning the house, and tomorrow my 10 yo niece is coming over to make and decorate gingerbread men. I've never spent 1 on 1 time with my niece, and I'm really looking forward to it.

@ecwk Yay for good test results! My doc took blood on Thursday and they called yesterday to say I am definitely pregnant and my progesterone levels look good, whatever that means.

@lalala2004 That is super crappy about the hotel and the bed. Hope you get some Tylenol and some better sleep tonight!

@shri929 What @morgantu said! I did this this week at my work party - I waited until there was no one at the bar and went over and asked the bartender really quietly to make me a realistic looking mocktail. He made me a totally passable and delicious club soda with a splash of cranberry juice and a lime and I nursed that sucker in front of everyone so I could just switch to water later without anyone raising an eyebrow. 

AFM, I am going shopping with my mom today to buy myself some clothes for Hawaii. She also already wants to look at baby/maternity stuff to which I'm like "it's way too early!" but I guess we can have fun looking. Then she and my brother are coming over tonight to watch football with DH and me (my old high school is in the state playoffs which I feel so cheesy typing but its Texas, football is big here ). I am also trying to do like 10-12 hours of work this weekend so I am way way way on top of everything prior to Thursday and don't have to feel guilty peacing out for 10 days. But I've only done like 2 hours so not a great start.

My fiance's sister and BIL are in town tonight and taking us out to dinner... I'm pretty sure FSIL will suspect something when I don't order wine.

We’re headed to a pot luck dinner tonight. Pretty sure everyone is going to notice when I’m not drinking. We’ll see how that goes. 

I meant to go to Yoga today but laid down next to my son to put him down for a nap and woke up at 1:15...class started at 1.

Had a busy weekend this weekend with dance stuff. I belly dance and have been at a workshop all this weekend, and performed last night at a show. I'm super exhausted and getting over strep so this weekend has been a huge challenge physically for me. I"m fighting the urge to throw on sweat pants and go back to bed.

I’m in Texas, too, but we didn’t get snow here in Dallas!

@legallykate Yup, we got some snow. It actually stuck to cars quite a bit! (and the grass too)  I'm a teacher and all my students were very disappointed when we didn't have a snow day, but none of the roads were icy or undriveable. Texas weather is weird, for sure!
