39 + 3 today. Had my last OB appt and because I had 6 hours of labor last night that stalled out with zero dilation, my OB suggested we induce tonight to put me out of my misery. So we are scheduled for foley bulb placement and miso in 4 hours, it will stay in overnight and we will start pitocin tomorrow morning! I know i should be napping right now, but I’m too excited that we get to meet our little boy!
Me: 39 SO: 36
Dx: low progesterone, possible DOR - officially "unexplained"
TTC#1 since November 2015 9/16/2016 IUI#1 - BFN 10/12/2016 IUI#2 - BFN 1/21/2017 Clomid/IUI#3 - BFN March 2017 IVF: BFP! (beta#1 191, beta#2 378!) - it's a boy! DS born 12/6/2017
TTC #2 since July 2018 May 2019 IVF #2: BFP! (beta#1 346, beta#2 646) - vanishing twin at 8 weeks. Baby B still going strong - due 2/8/20!
Good luck, @PoeMasque I also had the baby girl, just back from hospital, she came one week earlier, despite c-sec being scheduled at due date. I wanted to try vaginally but my water broke with meconium and after 12 hours plus pitocin, no dilation after 3cm, so off to c-section we went..the baby never descended..the experience was surreal, not bad but very pleasant either...But not complaining, little girl born and now we struggle with bfeeding like so many stories i hear here. Goodluck and more to come
@liljoy-2 Congrats on your little girl!! I am in the same boat with breastfeeding. It is so much more challenging than I expected. We had to start supplementing with formula at day 3 because my supply was so low and slow coming in and, despite having good output in the hospital, baby had lost a pound since birth at his newborn check. Hearing that was so upsetting! It's getting better, but the first few days were so hard. Hang in there!!
@PoeMasque good luck today!! I hope the induction goes well. @liljoy-2 congrats on your baby girl. Hang in there. BF is so hard and it can take both mom and baby a while to figure it out. That being said don't feel bad if you need to supplement or decide BF is not for your family right now. fed is best.

@PoeMasque I hope everything is going smoothly for you today. @liljoy-2 Congrats on baby girl. I'm sorry you had what sounds like a rough labor but I'm glad she's here and your both doing well. I know breastfeeding can be rough I really struggled with it when we had the twins there was a lot of supplementing going on. I know its a pain but have you tried to pump as well. It kind of throws your body into motion a little better I feel. I exclusively pumped with the twins it was a lot to take on but we managed a routine. Good luck I'm glad you are both at least giving breast feeding a try.

Hi all, I'm just joining the third trimester as of this week. It's fun to join and hear about you ladies who have just had or might be having your baby as we speak, it makes it feel that much closer! @liljoy-2 congrats on your baby girl! @poemasque hope all is going well
I'm 28 weeks with one baby boy and I'm a FTM. I've been feeling pretty well throughout my pregnancy but am starting to get some lower back pain the past 2 weeks (went from 0-60 just like that!) which is making some day to day stuff more challenging. I'm hoping a chiropractor can help. I have my glucose test tomorrow and am hoping that comes out all clear.
QOTW: I'm excited for the holidays this year! During our IF treatments we had been trying for a while when Christmas came. My SIL announced they were pregnant during a big family gathering on Christmas, and it was really hard for me to be with a huge group of people celebrating when I wanted so badly to have the same good news. Now I'm so grateful to be blessed with a baby this holiday season!

@kaseycoco congrats on making it to the third tri!! good luck with your GD test today. @thucks I bow down to you for being an EPer with the twins. I did a combo of pumping and BF and man it was challenging. I give so much credit to anyone who is an EPer.
I realized I forgot to give my update... I'm now 37+3 (not sure how that happened). Work has been so crazy busy that I need this kid to stay put for a bit longer so I can get some things wrapped up. Other than that the typical aches and pains for late pregnancy. As for the holidays I'm excited and a little aprehensive because we are having more people than I intended stay with us and I have no idea if the baby will be here yet or not. I'm just trying to keep things low key and get the last of our christmas shopping done this weekend so I don't have to worry about it.

Thank you ladies! The induction went pretty well, some snags, but I never expected labor to go completely drama free
plus I got to finally meet my little bean!
Henry Magnus was born Wednesday morning at 6:16am, 34 hours after induction and with 75 minutes of pushing. He weighed 7lbs 14oz and was 21 inches long. So far he’s a great sleeper, excellent snuggler, and is still working out how to stay awake during feeding sessions
