I woke up this morning super nauseous out of nowhere, so I took a test even though I'm 9 or 10 DPO. And it was a faint positive! DH and I are still in shock. I need to test tomorrow and see that line get darker to believe it. I think I'm more in shock and denial this time because of my experience with the loss. I will be an anxious wreck until we get our genetic testing done around 12 weeks, which is going to seem like forever. I lost my baby boy when I was 16 weeks along, and the Dr's believe it was because of trisomy 21. After testing, they couldn't figure out if it was the type that was random or the type that can be passed down from me or DH. So I hope with all my heart that this baby is healthy. I will absolutely love the heck out of this baby if he/she has a genetic disorder, but I can't handle another loss, and my anxiety will be through the roof if we have another high risk pregnancy. *End TW*

Well, I’m out. AF showed up this morning. There goes my hope of getting pregnant before the ugly year of TTC mark comes around. I knew it was coming when I was getting emotional over the Disney Christmas special...

I just retested this morning (10 dpo) and got another BFN. I have heard that fertility is up after CP’s, so I was feeling good about this month, but we will see. I don’t feel particularly like AF is coming, but I’m having lots of symptoms that could be either pregnancy or PMS/period. Wouldn’t it be helpful if they actually felt different? Also, I started Vitex before the CP and increased the dose afterwards, so I think the likely higher progesterone (if it’s working) might be causing lots of not-so-nice symptoms, too. Keeping my fingers crossed that I’m still just testing too early! 

*Edit* Never mind, I’m out. AF decided to make her appearance an hour after testing.

i tested this am at 10 DPO and there was a second line! This board and you ladies helped me at some of my lowest times. I’m already so nervous but praying for a healthy pregnancy.

I think I am 2DPO. I will probably start testing around 10DPO, which will be next Wed.

Question...do you all chill out with the BD after you think/know you've ovulated or do you keep it up (pun... intended haha) just in case? Or maybe every other day is kind of a normal amount for you?

I’m hanging out here. 4dpo. I’ve been taking a major break from social media lately. Sorry I haven’t been posting much. It just seems every day there is a pregnancy announcement and while I am so happy for those people it also reminds me of my current status. So I needed a break. 

@tosh24 Hope the week flies by for you! Two weeks never felt so long.

@lumosmaxima- we are at the point of TTC where we just chill after I think I've O'd and I consider it a break until about a few days after AF has finished the next cycle.  If we do have sex after O it's because we want it not because we have to.

@rasco12 I am kind of paranoid with the pregnancy announcements...I feel like everytime I open Facebook I am anticipating seeing one. Its easier to manage the social media but I still struggle with friends in person...I found myself hawk-eying a friend the other day to see if she was drinking. Had to check myself a little bit. I definitely understand the happy for them / not for self mixed emotions.

@Racso12 I took a break from this site for a few months, and have eased back hard on social media, especially when I’m not doing great. I found I had so much more free time when I was less plugged in anyway!

Don’t get me wrong, the ladies on this site are great and supportive, but I needed to step back due to my own reactions until I was in a healthier state of mind. Sometimes I’d get that ugly jealousy and anger that I didn’t want to let grow in myself. 

@lumosmaxima We usually BD one or two more times after O since I don’t temp/opk. That way, if I’m off by a day or two, I won’t necessarily miss the window.

I go here now. Surprisingly not stressed out this month -maybe because we have a plan with RE or because my cycle seems regulated... I could get used to the whole early ovulation thing...

@rasco12 @lumosmaxima I feel you on the announcements. My friend just bought a mini-van, she has 2 children and wants more, so I have a feeling that announcement is coming it's way

@honeybeebub anticipating the announcement..it's rough. I will share though that I also want a minivan, and maybe she just wants those sweet sweet sliding automatic doors.
