Alright here’s mine. Full disclaimer: I’m team “not finding out” officially. HOWEVER, I may have got a little clicky while shopping on cyber Monday and may have purchased this because it was on sale. It arrived yesterday and it’s now in my bathroom. I literally purchased the forbidden fruit. Now I’m questioning if I want to find out or not.
This entire week i have been trying to remember DHs best friends name!! No particular reason why but i just couldn’t remember. We had even considered him as a godparent! What kind of wife am i?!?! Lol i finally remember (i also didn’t want to cheap with FB)

I forgot my boss’s name this morning. Lol
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.
I'm not excited yet about being pregnant. It's making me feel guilty and like a bad mom because I loved being pregnant with my other two but since this one was a surprise I'm just not there yet!
My husband and I totally feel like Ross from Friends when Rachel finds out she's pregnant
Sometimes, when I'm extra overwhelmed and getting into a spiral of feeling sorry for lil' ol' me, I think that DH doesn't do enough and I am basically rolling around parenting on my own. While I definitely do the lion's share of the work, I guess my confession is he really does do more than I give him credit for because it has been much harder this week without him here. I'll have to remember that next time I'm having a pity party, lol.
@zg49 I'm in the exact same boat. Not quite there yet. It's sinking in. I need to get through next Friday, which is my hump from my last m/c. I need to start showing, see the baby again on U/S, have it confirmed, and for our families to know so maybe their excitement will rub off.
@amylu914 yeah you’re probably right. I’m so weak. But the thing is, I really don’t care to know if it’s a boy or girl. It’s the control freak in me that needs to know all the information and plan accordingly. She wins a lot. Sigh.
@gspmom21 - sneak peek gender test. It’s a blood test you can take starting at like 9 weeks that can tell you what sex the baby is.
@4deep if you decide not to use it, you can ship it to me haha. I'll be 9 weeks the week before Christmas and dying to find out but can't justify spending the money
My FFC, I just had runny eggs...and they were amazing! I *mostly* follow diet restrictions but I just can't get behind the "no runny eggs" thing (as long as they are cooked at home).
@wildtot I forgot a good friends name last week. DH and I were at a party and he said hey, I turned around and just blanked. DH has known him for at least 20 years and I've known him for at least 10. I'm sure my face looked completely blank, I responded with "Hey!...."
@TalesOfASocialIntrovert runny eggs are LIFE. @4deep I've been considering sneak peek too but read a lot of mixed reviews, I am doing genetic screening tests in 10 days and we will know the gender then so I figured I'd hold off...though I'm sooooo damn curious, and I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow....tn tn tn... @wildtot not quite the same but I completely spaced on some dates and was wondering why my client was asking for a file...I was like WTH he literally just requested it yesterday...well, yesterday=a week ago. Ooops!
@talesofasocialintrovert I can NOT get over not having sunny side up eggs. I LOVE egg yolks and it breaks my little heart! I also love medium rare steak, but I'm trying not to think about it too much so I don't get too disappointed on what I'm missing for the next 7 months. haha.
I gave DD a little ice cream cup thing after lunch cuz she was sick and throwing up yesterday and we all deserve a treat sometimes. Anyways, I thought she was done so I threw it away. Turns out she wasn’t so I had to dig it back out. Luckily it was right on top and there isn’t an anything nasty in there right now.
@lindsayleigh1989 I don't blame you at all. We subject ourselves to all those threats and diseases every other day of our lives so why should it be special now! I still abide by the diet to keep DH happy, but totally don't blame you.
@gspmom21 hahaha! I guess it's never too early to use that reason?!? I've already used, "I'm pregnant, that's why" with dh.
@hillbillywife meh...build her immunity up.
Should have posted it here but I accidentally added to yesterday's UO. Anyway, I really really don't like my dog and she kinda ruined dogs for our family for the foreseeable future. Sorry kids! And I already hate cats, so we're not going that route.
Basically we may be that weird pet-free family after this dog finally croaks, which at the rate she's going won't be anytime soon (tho she's 14yo). It probably goes without saying that as soon as she reaches end of life problems we aren't going to spend $$ trying to extend her life. It sounds so cruel but we are really great owners to her now. She gets to eat great food, gets regular vet visits, is walked multiple times a day because we don't have a fenced in yard, and let her snuggle with us whenever she wants, even tho she keeps burning us when she pees in her sleep. She is a very happy and healthy dog and we can't stand her.
@zombiehoohaa that’s what I think! It definitely won’t kill her.
@blair_krank ooh I’m sooo hungry for a sub. I haven’t had the opportunity to get one yet, but when I do I totally will.
I have another confession.
Tomorrow I’m going to a craft show with my bff her mom, sister, gram, and her mom’s friend. They asked me to drive because I have the biggest car. I totally don’t mind driving but I’ve been cleaning my car out hardcore because I’m really worried that they’ll be judgey about it. It’s super old (‘01), ugly and used and it looks like it. And I have two little kids and we’re in the car a lot so it just doesn’t look very nice. I know realistically that they’re all nice people and wouldn’t say anything, but I struggle anyways.
I was put on light bedrest today. I don't really have a babysitter so I re-downloaded YouTube kids and she hasn't moved in 2 hours. No regrets! I overdid it this past week and don't want to risk anything
@hillbillywife I'm the same way.. Even with my mom.. She is a super clean/organized person so when she comes over I sometimes stress if the house isn't as clean as it could be! I think sometimes we are probably a lot harder on ourselves about stuff like that then what other people are though!
@zombiehoohaa Never too early! I use it and DH laughs at me.
I accidentally, half way, closed his foot in the recliner the other day, hurt him a little. A few days later he told me "I can't believe you hurt me, I've never done that to you" (he was jokingly being pathetic) I said... "well, you put a baby inside of me, that when it comes out it's going to hurt WAY more than a squished foot ever would, so I win."
@flockofmoosen3 I agree and suggest what @blair_krank said. Our dog has incontinence. She's almost two. Around 1.5 she started peeing in the bed and on the couch when she was asleep. She NEVER has accidents. It only happened during that time. So, the vet gave us Proin, pills that she takes twice a day and it doesn't happen anymore. It's a maintenance pill, so she'll most likely be on it for a long time but it helps her out and makes us less angry.
My confession is that I’ve bought a lot of stuff for this baby already. And the majority of it was purchased before we were even TTC. I need to CTFD

I think I've said this before but I still clean my cat box. Technically it's one that you don't have to touch the poop- but we've got two cats and one box, DH doing it once (maybe) a day doesn't cut it!
@flockofmoosen3 I'm with you on the no pets. I grew up with cats (and iguanas, fish, turtles and a python my brother had) and DH grew up with dogs (and some birds). I don't mind cats, but can't deal with the maintenance that dogs require. DH hates cats so... meh. We've agreed that we aren't going to play the "you can keep it if you can take care of it" card with our kids because that just never seems to pan out. They can have pets when they get their own place. I don't really think it's mean. I just think that we know ourselves and won't give a pet the time/attention it deserves.
