I am cautiously optimistic that my general nausea and malaise might finally be abating a bit. I was routinely feeling pretty awful in the evenings, but this week, I’ve been eating decent dinners and going to bed feeling pretty ok. Hoping this isn’t a fake-out...

12w 2d. I was doing relatively great until this afternoon. Found out the sex (boy) via NIPT results on Tuesday. Nausea & fatigue had been reducing every week since week 9. Gas was really bad Sunday & Monday I could barely walk. But this afternoon I started spotting again (if you remember I spotted week 4-7ish). I was told to come in tomorrow. Hopefully everything is good with the baby. After going to the doctor every week from week 6-10 it was weird to not have that weekly reassurance, but I'll be back tomorrow, although my next appointment wasn't until Dec. 14.

Due 6/12. 12 weeks this week. Thanksgiving kicked my butt and I am still trying to recover. My nausea has ramped back up this week, which is a bummer. I’m ready to hopefully be feeling better soon. I’m also ready for food to be my friend again. I really miss food. We announced to our family, friends and public on Saturday, which was our Friendsgiving event. I’m able to easily pick up the heartbeat on the Doppler, which is reassuring. We will be signing the contract with the home birth midwife early next week and starting appointments with her soon.

@ffw0617 Fingers crossed that the spotting is totally normal and that your little boy (yay!) is just fine. Once you spotted the first time, did your doc mention that it might happen again? I don't know if spotting early means you are more likely to do so later, too.

@BurlapandLace Sorry you're feeling crummy again. :( I know what you mean about food...I find it really exhausting to constantly be in pursuit of something that won't make you feel completely terrible.

Hi ladies!  My nausea is gone.  It started tapering in week 8, and now I just get hungry but nothing sounds good.  Fast food satisfies me, but that's about it.  Still can't face a salad.

NT scan was today and everything looked good.  Baby had hiccups during the scan.  <3 Had my blood drawn for the Progenity test, so waiting on those results.

Aside from baby, work is hectic and we're closing on a new house tomorrow.  We won't move until the 17th though.  The Christmas season is busy and I need more naps.

@mytinc Ahhhh, baby hiccups!! The cutest! Though my first had hiccups in utero really frequently, and since he was always so low, it constantly felt like he was hiccuping right into my butthole...which did get old after a while.

I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow!  I think that's officially second trimester right?  It feels so weird to be at this point.  It seemed like it was going so slowly, but now it feels like it's all of a sudden.  There's so much to do!

I'm in the same boat as you ladies, nausea is lessening and is mostly just in the evenings now, but even that is getting better.  My appetite is returning but nothing sounds good.  I tried to eat a salad yesterday for lunch and couldn't get through half of it, so I had fries instead.  I'm actually trying to gain some weight, I've lost a few pounds and I was already on the low end of my ideal weight so I'm thinking fries are ok for now ;)

Oh, and as I was getting out of the shower yesterday, I noticed that my bellybutton changed!  It's always been mostly an innie, but now it's starting to pop out a little.  So weird!!

@ffw0617 How did the appointment go??

I'm due the 9th, STM...I feel good, very normal and not preg at all really other than my pants being super tight and depending on the day I've gotten out the old faithful belly band.  I'm just not feeling any desire to make any kind of formal announcement or anything for this one which is so NOT like me.  I'm just meh.  I don't want it to come off as making it seem like it is an accident or not wanted, which isn't the case, but I dunno.

@RatParade I also found out I had lost a couple of pounds at my appointment yesterday, so I used that as an excuse to inhale an entire bag of gummy bears. Now you have me thinking about french fries for lunch.

@kmurdock925 I sort of know what you mean. It's funny how much more blase I am about this pregnancy than my first. Not that I'm not excited, because I definitely am...but like, I have no idea what size fruit this baby is right now, you know? I did just announce to my coworkers at a meeting, though, which amped the excitement up a little, especially because now I can stop hiding behind giant baggy shirts.

Baby hiccups! I miss those! Though I never had them in my butthole. Haha. The first time I felt DS hiccuping inutero, I thought something was way wrong. Then I realized what it was and felt silly. That kid got hiccups ALL THE TIME. Still does to this day. Poor kid

appointment went well. most likely i popped a blood vessel could have something to do with the insane amount of gas and constipation I've been going through since Saturday. The baby is fine, growing w/ strong heartbeat. I was told to take it easy. She didn't mention the possibility of the spotting returning but she did say bleeding this close to 2nd trimester (I'm 12w 3d) is always a concern bc you want to make sure the cervix is close (mine was). So for anyone else out there going through this spotting in first trimester can be normal and not a huge worry (see your dr but no need to run to the ER) esp when not accompanied by cramping. But in the 2nd trimester it could mean your cervix is opening which is bad, seek help asap (I hear from other friends that have slings that can help with this issue).

@BurlapandLace where did you get your Doppler? I definitely want to get one now that I went to an independent ER last night and found out the copay would be $500. I didn't get service bc I had the appointment with my doctor this morning to check on things. But if it had been late on a Friday or a weekend where I couldn't call about an appointment I would have probably took that $500 risk. But I rather just have a Doppler so if I freak out I can at least check the heartbeat without paying an arm and a leg.

I have a doctor’s appt on Monday, I’m excited for that. After a lot of back and forth, we decided to opt out of the NT scan. I feel a lot better about it now. The doctor mentioned there was margin of error (low) and I could get a false negative or false positive, that made me nervous.

I will be 13 weeks on Tuesday, yay! I haven’t told my boss or co-workers I’m pregnant and I don’t know why I’m so nervous about doing so. To be honest, I haven’t really told many other than our immediate family (parents + siblings). on a different note: I’m super anxious to find out our baby’s gender, it really doesn’t matter.. I just want to know!!!

At my last appointment they scheduled me for a C-section on June 11th.  I’m only 12+2 today. Everything is going great and I’m hoping to get my NIPT results back this week.  After no symptoms for a week I was surprised the sore boobs came back with a vengeance this weekend!  They are still so sore.  I’m still only having mild nausea but no other real symptoms.  My husband thinks he sees a little belly on me, but I still haven’t noticed a real change in my body yet at least with the fit of my clothes.

@krismhl Is it exciting to have an official date scheduled? I’ve not had a c-section, so knowing the exact date your baby is going to arrive (assuming everything goes according to plan, of course) seems so crazy and cool.

MoonOverGoldsboro - exactly!  I feel like I remember Mila Kunas having an interview on some morning show when she was preg with her 2nd saying the same thing about not knowing the fruit, haha.  I'm likely telling my boss tomorrow in my 1:1...I don't know why but I feel so awkward about it.

Last week my pants were all so uncomfortable I got out the belly band and this week they all button just fine...so I'm just like in this weird limbo of sizes...the inbetween is frustrating.

@Ratparade and @kmurdock925 - Here's to June 9th!  And yeah, I have no idea what size fruit, candy, etc.  baby #3 is.  I've opened the ticker change thread a couple times and I'm too lazy to look up what the right size would be for a gif.  Plus changing weeks on Saturday seems like an extra effort as I'm not online as much that day.

Yeah the Saturday week change is majorly inconvenient for me!  I'm only on this site at when I'm at work (I don't know how you guys do it on mobile, it's too frustrating for me!) so I always miss the gif party thread.  I do know what fruit I am though, but I'm a FTM.  Although the fruit sizes always seem inconsistent with the actual inch measurement.  Like, week 11 it said a lime, but baby was only 1.5 inches long.  Week 12 it said a plum but baby was only 2 inches long.  The bump must get the tiniest fruit I've ever seen!

@kmurdock925 I loved Mila Kunas when she was pg. Once she was on the late show and he asked what is the most annoying thing ppl say about pg and she said she hates when people say "We're pregnant." She said "No! We're Expecting. But I'm the only pregnant one here."
