@laurad75 that is amazing!! Can’t wait to hear the fertilization report! @SkilledSailor we start testing for IVF next month and then actually stimming in January. @tamalahoops it’s so nice to hear an update from you! Definitely stay here, I would love to hear more about the adoption process!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) IUI w donor. Next FU appt is Friday.
How are things going? Was MIA last week. Just thought I needed a mental break from all social media. I just am in a funk I can't break. Thanksgiving was rough without my dad and a failed IUI on top of it, so I drank my way through it.
Any questions?
GTKY: What's on your Christmas list? Ha, I told my mom my only xmas wish was that it didn't come. And it sort of came true. My mom decided to go to Utah to spend xmas with him and the kids, because of course it is more fun to watch kids tear open presents instead of sitting at home with us barren mofos. That being said, MH and I decided to avoid xmas all together and we just booked a trip to New Orleans for xmas! So we won't be with any family or have to celebrate in any way.
Sent out love tits to you girls!

How are things going? Eh kind of blah, just ready to have our follow up appointment and develop a plan
Any questions?
GTKY: What's on your Christmas list? A new Kindle, mine died a couple months ago.
@beachbunnyxo123 first I'm sorry you are going through all this. I just wanted to chime in and say that I think you should strongly consider changing RE's even within the same practice and have the RE you are more comfortable with and have More confidence in be your RE on record. I actually did that and switched RE's within the same practice late in the game and it made me so much happier - they both had same protocol but I just felt better overall after dealing with one vs the other. I'm keeping all things crossed for you that they can get this figured out for you!
@tamalahoops I hope you stick around and keep us updated with how things are going! I'd definitely love to hear about everything. I hope it's a smooth process for you going forward! @SkilledSailor GL at your appt! @adirat Glad to see you around. I've been thinking about you, hope you're doing ok @laurad75 Holy shit that's a lot of eggs!!! Hope you get good news today as well! @Avrilmai FX that the clomid is just what you need to get the job done! I don't think I had any side effects - Although I am noticing I'm feeling less frustrated by my husband lately and my Dr did mention mood swings so maybe I did and just thought my husband was annoying AF and didn't realize it was meds lol
@beachbunnyxo123 wow, that is just frustrating. Not to get into problem solving mode, but is there someone else you can speak to? maybe a practice manager? The first priority should be the patient, not the doc's ego. I hope they work this out to your benefit. AFM, I didn't even consider the monitoring part, thanks for that reminder, it is TI for us this time around. @laurad75 WOW! that is amazing!!! can't wait to hear about your report! @AlohaKumu I hope santa brings you one too! @JuneRoseRuby hugs, I'm sorry last week was so rough. I hope the break helped. So exciting about New Orleans, where are you staying? any fun plans while you're there? @tamalahoops others have already said this, but I'll add to it, you've been such an supportive member of this board and the least we can do is provide that support in return. I have a family member that is an adoptive parent and understand, in a very small way, how much of an up and down the adoption journey can be.

"Some days are diamonds, some days are rocks, some doors are open, some roads are blocked"
@beachbunnyxo123, that RE situation is sticky, that's for sure. I completely understand your frustration, and it definitely does sound like this is more of a personal need to be able to do this for him than any sort of patient consideration. I too would push for another RE to do the procedure, it's ridiculous that there are a number of them there who could do it but he's being this insistent about it.
@50Wife, I feel like trying to decide when to give up on IUI and move on to IVF is always such a tough, personal decision. We did not do IUI at all, in part because studies show it's not super helpful for MFI (especially low morph, which was a large concern for us), and partially because I would have had to do injectibles for IUI anyway. In the end I think that what is most important is that you two make the right decision for you, whatever it is. And once you make it be confident in it, for better or worse. There was a reason you thought it was right, and at the end of the day the outcome doesn't change that, though it certainly makes it hard to remember.
@SkilledSailor, GL at your consult today! I hope you come up with a good plan for you going forward.
@BusinessWife, I am going to keep sending good vibes your way. My thoughts are with you, lady.
@tamalahoops, of course we would love to have you. You have been a source of support for so many, you deserve just as much and more back in whatever path your journey takes you. I'm so excited for you!
@laurad75, what a fantastic retrieval!!!!! FX for a great follow up fert report!!!
@laurad YAYYYYY 35! Dang I hope your donor has the day off work today *dead*. So excited for you eta: are you allowed to give her a gift basket anonymously? Like maybe some coconut water and salty snacks?
@beachbunnyxo123 I'm thinking she'll go over most of it but I'll be asking our odds for on our own vs medicated IUI vs IVF. How much they're able to help with insurance codes (I'm sure it's a lot since IVF is their specialty. Will we do a second SA for H? Do you have any suggestions on other questions we should ask?
@kiwi2628 I love that you're sharing your IVF journey so openly. It would help me a lot if I saw others going through IF treatments on social media.
@busineswife *hugs* So sorry the results weren't more positive. Sending all the good vibes to your embie to keep holding on and growing!
@tamalahoops I would love if you continued with this board! H and I have already decided we will be adopting for our #2. Ours will be international (China).
@alohakumu Yum! All those foods sound delicious! FX for your Christmas miracle!
@juneroseruby *hugs* Sorry you're in a funk. A trip away with H sounds like fun, though! I've heard great things about NO.
@kariann323 I feel ya on waiting for the FU appointment! I hope this next week flies by for you!
@antoto Hi! She's a grad student so I have to assume she planned to miss class today. Her ER was yesterday afternoon (mine were always in the morning) so she is still probably uncomfortable.
I did give her a gift but I chose a willow tree Christmas ornament and a handwritten note. I wasn't sure about guessing her tastes for food/ drink.

What are
you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Had my progesterone biopsy
yesterday! So, now that I’ve been through it and gotten more info, I figured I would
update you all. Apparently the progesterone biopsy is the same/similar to an
endometrial biopsy. It hurt like h*ll; seriously, the most painful test I’ve
had by far. I had a breakdown in the car afterwards. *sigh* So, in a few days when AF starts I have to
call and let them know. And sometime after that I should get the progesterone
results. Hoping to be off the bench and trying again next cycle. Finally!
How are
things going? Test yesterday really set me back. I’m back to being sorta
depressed and just wanting to curl up in my PJs, so still trying to rally.
GTKY:
What's on your Christmas list? A lot of arts/crafts/baking/reading type stuff.
Of course some movies and whatnot as well.
emmasemm I’m
sorry things are going so rough. Definitely a tough pill to swallow with no
eggs to put back in. It’s also hard when you put off grieving while you’re
super busy and then breakdown (seemingly worse) later.
kiwi2628 Ugh. I
can’t tell you the number of therapy sessions I’ve had where “letting go
because you can’t control everything” is involved. Also, love the social media
posts ideas!
zwink1 Glad
for the 4 extra to freeze! That’s good news for sure.
50Wife
Good luck making your decisions. Does your current insurance cover IUI for the
5th cycle? If so, I’d say to
go for it.
BusinessWife Oh I
am so sorry for the low beta results. That’s absolutely crushing.
tamalahoops I’m
glad you’re making progress on your next steps forward! I don’t mind if you
stay, but I haven’t been in this specific group as long as others have been. At
this point in my journey, I personally appreciate hearing the steps people are
taking when they aren’t just “trying again.” I desperately am working on coping
mechanisms and would love to hear more from your journey (wherever it may
lead).
beachbunnyxo123
Grrr. Your RE sounds super annoying. I think a prerequisite to be an RE is to
have bad bedside manner and to be a micromanager.
JuneRoseRuby
Sorry about Thanksgiving. Really hope you enjoy your holiday trip and have a
relaxing/refreshing time!
*lurker* @beachbunnyxo123 Taking cytotec to dilate for the purpose of a test sounds really weird to me. TW I have used cytotec to mc and it's not a very pleasant drug, I only took one dose vaginally and I had a lot of stomach upset and it did it's "job" very quickly. end TW Just sounds very extreme to me to use cytotec for the purpose of dilation.
@beachbunnyxo123 Do you have a patient navigator you could speak with do explain that you want to switch doctors? You should be free to switch if you want. @JuneRoseRuby hugs, I am sorry for everything you are going through. I love that you are skipping the holidays and having a vacation though! You deserve it @KariAnn323 FX your happy next Wednesday goes well and you can start treatment soon! @dpjennifer 'letting go' is also NOT in my vocabulary, for better or worse. I am so sorry the biopsy was so painful. Hugs
@zwink1 What good news that the other 4 caught up! I can
imagine that those few days were a rollercoaster of emotions.
@beachbunnyxo123 I am frustrated for you. I think many of us
have had other drs from the same practice perform procedures on us because ours
was gone for the day. I think that you are totally okay telling the nurse that
you actually would prefer the other dr to do the procedure, that you are more
comfortable with that. This process is already so long and drawn out, and you’ve
already had set backs. This is your body, your decision. It might be helpful to
check out another RE.
@50wife Have you decided what you’re leaning towards as far
as the IUI? I was under the impression that after a few attempts, the odds of
it working went down?I personally would
probably go with IVF, but I’ve seen a lot of people have a plan and then it
changes!Whatever you decide, we will be
behind you! I second goodrx!
@avrilmai I don’t have experience with clomid, but the
femara that I am on definitely made temping harder. I haven’t been temping
regularly since I started taking medications to help though.
@tamalahoops I think you definitely belong here! You’ve shown so much support to others, and
just because your journey looks different shouldn’t matter!
@juneroseruby I’m sorry you’re in a funk. This is not fun. I
hope the break was good for you. Where
in Utah is your family?I’m in Utah. You
can come hang out with me, the H, and the pups
Thanks for the love everybody! I'm gonna continue to stick around and be a little more active.
@beachbunnyxo123 I am team switch RE. I did that really early on in treatment and was so glad to go through treatment with someone I really trusted and connected with. Its so worth the hassle.
@dpjennifer Im so sorry that you had to go through such a painful test. IF is so unfair, it's okay to be bot be okay.

@zamora_spin thank you for the information!!! I really did not feel good about the medicine and he was having me take two doses before just a Saline sono. I needed to hear what you said cause it confirmed my concerns.
thanks so much to all of you for your feedback!! I really need that as I didn’t know if I was being unreasonable and I wanted to make sure it wasn’t just me who felt something was weird about it. I also feel like he thinks I’m a risk to work with after he made me go to a cardiologist for clearance after high heart rate from him probing around my cervix for hours. I’m just emailed my nurse and tell her I don’t want to take the medicine and want another doc to do it for more feedback and another opinion since it has been a lot of difficulty. I’m really nervous about what she’s gonna say I hate confrontation and this was not easy for me to do. I’m gonna be honest I totally wasn’t going to say anything until I read everyone’s feedback so if it weren’t for all of your encouragement I’d still be feeling anxious and doing nothing about it. I really appreciate all of you. Praying for a good outcome here!
@Redpuma119 I'm leaning more towards skipping it and going for IVF in Jan if we need to. We've already done 4 IUIs so it seems like a waste to me to do a 5th. I'd rather save that money and put it towards a process that has a higher success rate. Also, what @adirat said really slapped me into reality that clomid isn't going to help magically give us more swimmers. Yes, it may make me more ready, but that's not our issue. Ask me again tomorrow though lol
@50Wife after I [email protected] post I agree too for some reason I thought you were unexplained not male factor. Sounds like if your OOP it would be helpful to put the money towards IVF. Glad you’re starting to feel some more clarity towards a decision!
@laurad75 Yesssss! It's about time! Fx for your transfer!
@beachbunnyxo123 I know what you mean. I alsp struggle with not wanting to seem like a demanding or obnoxious patient. I actually have talked about this in therapy before. I don't know if this will help you but sometimes when I need to be kind of demanding or I'm irritated I will say to myself, "You are asking something reasonable. A reasonable person would do this."
Since I am in New York, sometimes I also say to myself, "Think about demanding and obnoxious some of these paesans must be -- you aren't half as obnoxious as they are" and I feel better
Cycle/CD: 9, but really 10, since I'm out for this round.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WFAF
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) The plan right now is for another medicated IUI cycle
How are things going? Crappy. I really got my hopes up that the first IUI would work, even though I knew the odds were really low. Beta was yesterday morning, and got the call yesterday afternoon that it was a BFN. I'm mostly done having a breakdown now, and trying to keep busy with work while I WFAF. The support from all the ladies here and from the handful of friends that know has been great, and of course MH has been wonderful. This just sucks though!
Any questions? For those who have done multiple IUI cycles, did your RE change the protocol for each cycle? If they did make changes, what was that decision based on?
GTKY: What's on your Christmas list? Hmm... I suppose I should start a list!
@darkstar42 Ugh sorry to hear it I hope you have something nice planned during AF.
I forgot an AFM -- at the dermatologist today I had to have a biopsy of a weird bump on my arm that she's concerned could be autoimmune like lupus. If it is, she thinks I should talk to my RE about canceling my FET until it's investigated more fully. Wtf.
@darkstar42 I'm sorry. I know my first BFN after an IUI was the hardest. I think I had put so much hope into the fact that it would be our solution so when it didn't work, I was crushed. My first two I only did the trigger shot. My last two he wanted to bump up my side of thing so he had me on clomid. But those were the only changes made.
@beachbunnyxo123 Your response is 100% reasonable and I'm glad that you wrote to them. I know it can be so hard to advocate for yourself, especially when you don't want to bother or upset anyone. However, you are not asking anything that's unreasonable and you have every right to speak up in this situation. @adirat ughhhhh. I hope that the bump is just nothing/not serious and this doesn't cause you further delays. Why do bodies do this to us?!

Definitely no later than the 11th when I go back to have the stitches removed. So in theory, plenty of time to convert fet to era if something is wrong. But like...seriously body?
@darkstar42 ugh, I am so sorry. My BFN with my first IUI was so painful. I had my hopes up SO HIGH and the crash was horrific. Hugs.
@darkstar42 I had 6 medicated cycles and 3 of those were IUI. I did 2 IUI's with 100 mg Clomid and one IUI with femara (2 pills, I can't remember what mg dose that is). My doctor didn't change my protocol besides that since I am unexplained, young, and based on BW and u/s, I was ovulating 2-3 eggs each cycle, so upping meds would only put me at risk for HOM. They did offer me injectables after cycle 4, but I declined...if I am going to injectables, I want the increased benefit of IVF.
@adirat I am hating 2017 for you. I am so sorry for everything you have/are going through.
@darkstar42 so sorry for the bfn. They never get any easier. we did 2 ti cycles and 3 iuis and increased the letrozole each time until I was at max dose.
@adirat 2017 has been a real beast. My everything is crossed for negative results.

@beachbunnyxo123 my bff has to have a procedure done because they couldn’t get her iud out & she had to use a suppository for dilation. She just said she had a little bit of cramping. Also, you’re the patient. If you want to go with another dr, I would think that you have the right
@50Wife will your insurance in January cover an IUI?
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) not much. No tracking—temping everybody 5th day just so AF isn’t a surprise and BDing every Friday & Sunday
How are things going? They’re going. Just ready for 2017 to be over & it to be January do we can start treatments again
Any questions? Are there any negatives to red leaf raspberry tea? And any favs?
GTKY: What's on your Christmas list? I don’t know. I usually have a list for my parents and H. But with everything going on right now, there’s nothing that I want that some can buy me. My parents keep asking me and I tell them not to worry about it since they have so much going on. I finally told them just money (I’d put it towards IF treatments but they don’t know about that so I just told them we’d save it for something big we might want later on)
I have heard you may want to avoid rrl after confirming o, and hold off on that in first tri, especially forbthose with a history of loss. But great for uterine muscle tone and lining growth! @purpleg8r
@darkstar42 came to check for your update..... so sorry it wasn't your cycle. (((Hugs)))
@dpjennifer Ugh, so sorry the test hurt so bad! I hope you're feeling a bit better. The tile cutter will be used to cut oval shapes out of the side of floor tiles to make room for piping.
@laurad75 Yay! Will you be freezing the others for future siblings?
@beachbunnyxo123 I hope they are considerate when reading your email. Ultimately it's your treatment and you should have the doctor you're most comfortable with.
@darkstar42 *hugs* I'm so sorry about your BFN. I know I told you yesterday but I think you deserve extra hugs.
@adirat Ugh, so sorry! This year has not been kind to you at all. I really hope 2018 brings you all the good things this year should have.
@purplg8r How's it going taking some time off from the tracking?
AFM, the RE consult went ok. She's not convinced my tube is an issue and said she won't be convinced until we hit 12 cycles of trying. The RE who performed my HSG was convinced it's an issue, which she did admit. She's also not concerned about H's morph because in their practice it doesn't seem to have a huge impact on outcomes. However, she didn't see the harm in me starting a low dose of clomid to try to boost our chances of ovulating from the right side. We'll do that for three months then start monitored IUIs, cancelling if we only see follicles on the left side. Then IVF. So we'd be starting IUIs late February rather than January like I had thought. But we're kinda doing something in the meantime when I thought we'd just be twiddling our thumbs until January.
@redpuma119 I hope the mental break helped! I had very few
side effects on femara as well. It was a pleasant surprise!
@kiwi2628 Fx for more follies! I look forward to hearing
your report tomorrow! I hear you on being a control freak. That’s me as well.
It makes the unexplained diagnosis that much harder to handle. Yeah, I don’t
think I realized how much I’d gotten my hopes up until I got that call.
@shortstack930 Hope is such a double-edged sword. Fx for you
that this cycle is it, but I’m glad you have a plan for moving forward.
@laurad75 What an amazing outcome with your donor! So
excited for you!
@emmasemm *hugs* I’m so sorry you’re having a rough time.
@AlohaKumu I’m so glad everything is on track and going
well! I also feel the same way about acupuncture. At the very least it gives me
a chance to be calm and relaxed once a week.
@zwink1 So glad those other four caught up! Wonderful news!
@beachbunnyxo123 So glad you pushed back on the doctors
decision!
@50wife I don’t have advice to offer on IUI or not, but we’ve
all got your back, no matter what you decide. Thanks for sharing info on your
IUIs. I switched docs, and the new one is going to keep me on the same
protocol, so fx it works this time!
@SkilledSailor I’m always happy to get more hugs. Did you
feel like the RE answered all of your questions? How are you feeling about
their suggested treatment plan?
@Avrilmai Are you doing a trigger, or just clomid? Someone
else recommended to me using opks if I wasn’t doing a trigger.
@tamalahoops I just wanted to weigh in and say that I have so
appreciated hearing your experiences exploring adoption possibilities. I’m glad
you’re going to stick around!
@BusinessWife Thanks. I have all my fingers and toes
crossed for good results for you tomorrow!
@JuneRoseRuby *hugs* I’m so sorry you’re in a funk right
now. Failed IUIs really suck, as do holidays without loved ones.
@KariAnn323 I hope everything goes well at your follow up
appointment and you get a treatment plan set up that you’re happy with.
@dpjennifer I’m sorry that procedure ended up being so
painful! *hugs*
@adirat Thanks for the support. So sorry to hear about
that bump! Fx it’s nothing.
@purplg8r Thanks, friend. I hear you on being ready for a
new year. This one was really rough for all of us!
AFM, I talked to the clinic and switched doctors! The new
doctor called me up personally and spent about 25 minutes on the phone talking
through all my lab results (unlike doctor #1 who basically said the bw didn’t
matter) and going through the IUI cycle step by step. She basically said I
responded really well to the drugs, so she’ll use the same protocol for the
next cycle, and the lack of pregnancy was likely just crappy luck. She was very
hopeful for the next cycle. I’m feeling a lot better after that conversation. I
felt listened to and she answered my questions fully and didn’t dismiss my
concerns. We’ll be getting another SA for MH as well, so that’s good.
Re: IF Testing and Treatment 11/27

"Some days are diamonds, some days are rocks,
some doors are open, some roads are blocked"
So excited for you
@kiwi2628 I love that you're sharing your IVF journey so openly. It would help me a lot if I saw others going through IF treatments on social media.

Sorry all, I was only semi-around the past few weeks. I needed a bit of a break.
Diagnosis (If you've been): Unexplained RPL.
Cycle/CD: CD 34. 11 DPO.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW but benched
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Had my progesterone biopsy yesterday! So, now that I’ve been through it and gotten more info, I figured I would update you all. Apparently the progesterone biopsy is the same/similar to an endometrial biopsy. It hurt like h*ll; seriously, the most painful test I’ve had by far. I had a breakdown in the car afterwards. *sigh* So, in a few days when AF starts I have to call and let them know. And sometime after that I should get the progesterone results. Hoping to be off the bench and trying again next cycle. Finally!
How are things going? Test yesterday really set me back. I’m back to being sorta depressed and just wanting to curl up in my PJs, so still trying to rally.
GTKY: What's on your Christmas list? A lot of arts/crafts/baking/reading type stuff. Of course some movies and whatnot as well.
laurad75 WOW!!!! 35 donor eggs!!
emmasemm I’m sorry things are going so rough. Definitely a tough pill to swallow with no eggs to put back in. It’s also hard when you put off grieving while you’re super busy and then breakdown (seemingly worse) later.
kiwi2628 Ugh. I can’t tell you the number of therapy sessions I’ve had where “letting go because you can’t control everything” is involved. Also, love the social media posts ideas!
zwink1 Glad for the 4 extra to freeze! That’s good news for sure.
50Wife Good luck making your decisions. Does your current insurance cover IUI for the 5th cycle? If so, I’d say to go for it.
SkilledSailor A tile cutter? For like mosaics?
BusinessWife Oh I am so sorry for the low beta results. That’s absolutely crushing.
tamalahoops I’m glad you’re making progress on your next steps forward! I don’t mind if you stay, but I haven’t been in this specific group as long as others have been. At this point in my journey, I personally appreciate hearing the steps people are taking when they aren’t just “trying again.” I desperately am working on coping mechanisms and would love to hear more from your journey (wherever it may lead).
beachbunnyxo123 Grrr. Your RE sounds super annoying. I think a prerequisite to be an RE is to have bad bedside manner and to be a micromanager.
JuneRoseRuby Sorry about Thanksgiving. Really hope you enjoy your holiday trip and have a relaxing/refreshing time!
@beachbunnyxo123 Taking cytotec to dilate for the purpose of a test sounds really weird to me. TW I have used cytotec to mc and it's not a very pleasant drug, I only took one dose vaginally and I had a lot of stomach upset and it did it's "job" very quickly. end TW Just sounds very extreme to me to use cytotec for the purpose of dilation.
@JuneRoseRuby hugs, I am sorry for everything you are going through. I love that you are skipping the holidays and having a vacation though! You deserve it
@KariAnn323 FX your happy next Wednesday goes well and you can start treatment soon!
@dpjennifer 'letting go' is also NOT in my vocabulary, for better or worse. I am so sorry the biopsy was so painful. Hugs
@zwink1 What good news that the other 4 caught up! I can imagine that those few days were a rollercoaster of emotions.
@beachbunnyxo123 I am frustrated for you. I think many of us have had other drs from the same practice perform procedures on us because ours was gone for the day. I think that you are totally okay telling the nurse that you actually would prefer the other dr to do the procedure, that you are more comfortable with that. This process is already so long and drawn out, and you’ve already had set backs. This is your body, your decision. It might be helpful to check out another RE.
@50wife Have you decided what you’re leaning towards as far as the IUI? I was under the impression that after a few attempts, the odds of it working went down? I personally would probably go with IVF, but I’ve seen a lot of people have a plan and then it changes! Whatever you decide, we will be behind you! I second goodrx!
@skilledsailor Hope your consult goes well today!
@avrilmai I don’t have experience with clomid, but the femara that I am on definitely made temping harder. I haven’t been temping regularly since I started taking medications to help though.
@tamalahoops I think you definitely belong here! You’ve shown so much support to others, and just because your journey looks different shouldn’t matter!
@juneroseruby I’m sorry you’re in a funk. This is not fun. I hope the break was good for you. Where in Utah is your family? I’m in Utah. You can come hang out with me, the H, and the pups
IF is so unfair, it's okay to be bot be okay.

laurad75 Wow! Amazing!
thanks so much to all of you for your feedback!!
Ask me again tomorrow though lol
@laurad75 omg it's really happening!!!
Diagnosis (If you've been): Unexplained
I'll be back for tags.
@50wife I agree with putting the money towards IVF. You will have a much much better chance- a better bang for your buck, so to speak.
I forgot an AFM -- at the dermatologist today I had to have a biopsy of a weird bump on my arm that she's concerned could be autoimmune like lupus. If it is, she thinks I should talk to my RE about canceling my FET until it's investigated more fully. Wtf.
UGH 2017 needs to be overrrrrrrrr.
@adirat ughhhhh. I hope that the bump is just nothing/not serious and this doesn't cause you further delays. Why do bodies do this to us?!

@adirat 2017 has been a real beast. My everything is crossed for negative results.

@laurad75 yay! So exciting! Wow! That is a great number!!
@emmasemm that has to be so so hard. Sending you so many hugs
@AlohaKumu it’s so close!
@zwink1 I’m so glad they caught up!!
@SkilledSailor how did the consult go?
@BusinessWife fx so hard for you!
@Avrilmai I hope you don’t have any side effects!!
@tamalahoops please stay!! You’re still on a journey to taking home a baby! I’d love to read your updates
@JuneRoseRuby I’m so sorry you had a rough week. I love your Xmas plans though!
@KariAnn323 I hope the time until your follow up goes by quickly!
@dpjennifer I’m sorry the test was so painful!
@darkstar42 I’m so sorry about the bfn. Sending you hugs!
@adirat on no!! I’m really hoping the results come back with good news. And I’m with you—2017 sucks big time
Diagnosis (If you've been): ama, ovulation dysfunction
Cycle/CD: month 16/cycle 12/cd 12
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): wto I think
I finally told them just money (I’d put it towards IF treatments but they don’t know about that so I just told them we’d save it for something big we might want later on)
@darkstar42 came to check for your update..... so sorry it wasn't your cycle. (((Hugs)))
I had very few side effects on femara as well. It was a pleasant surprise!
@kiwi2628 Fx for more follies! I look forward to hearing your report tomorrow! I hear you on being a control freak. That’s me as well. It makes the unexplained diagnosis that much harder to handle. Yeah, I don’t think I realized how much I’d gotten my hopes up until I got that call.
@shortstack930 Hope is such a double-edged sword. Fx for you that this cycle is it, but I’m glad you have a plan for moving forward.
@laurad75 What an amazing outcome with your donor! So excited for you!
@emmasemm *hugs* I’m so sorry you’re having a rough time.
@AlohaKumu I’m so glad everything is on track and going well! I also feel the same way about acupuncture. At the very least it gives me a chance to be calm and relaxed once a week.
@zwink1 So glad those other four caught up! Wonderful news!
@beachbunnyxo123 So glad you pushed back on the doctors decision!
@50wife I don’t have advice to offer on IUI or not, but we’ve all got your back, no matter what you decide. Thanks for sharing info on your IUIs. I switched docs, and the new one is going to keep me on the same protocol, so fx it works this time!
@SkilledSailor I’m always happy to get more hugs.
Did you
feel like the RE answered all of your questions? How are you feeling about
their suggested treatment plan?
@Avrilmai Are you doing a trigger, or just clomid? Someone else recommended to me using opks if I wasn’t doing a trigger.
@tamalahoops I just wanted to weigh in and say that I have so appreciated hearing your experiences exploring adoption possibilities. I’m glad you’re going to stick around!
@BusinessWife Thanks.
I have all my fingers and toes
crossed for good results for you tomorrow!
@JuneRoseRuby *hugs* I’m so sorry you’re in a funk right now. Failed IUIs really suck, as do holidays without loved ones.
@KariAnn323 I hope everything goes well at your follow up appointment and you get a treatment plan set up that you’re happy with.
@dpjennifer I’m sorry that procedure ended up being so painful! *hugs*
@adirat Thanks for the support.
So sorry to hear about
that bump! Fx it’s nothing.
@purplg8r Thanks, friend. I hear you on being ready for a new year. This one was really rough for all of us!
AFM, I talked to the clinic and switched doctors! The new doctor called me up personally and spent about 25 minutes on the phone talking through all my lab results (unlike doctor #1 who basically said the bw didn’t matter) and going through the IUI cycle step by step. She basically said I responded really well to the drugs, so she’ll use the same protocol for the next cycle, and the lack of pregnancy was likely just crappy luck. She was very hopeful for the next cycle. I’m feeling a lot better after that conversation. I felt listened to and she answered my questions fully and didn’t dismiss my concerns. We’ll be getting another SA for MH as well, so that’s good.
