Food you're craving/avoiding?
Still on dairy. Also want cauliflower with melted cheese, and toasted tomatoe sandwich. Never been so glad for groceries as I am this week!
Not avoiding any foods but went to do laundry last night and figured out first scent to make me gag - gun cleaning solution! It's not even fresh {about a week old on cloths} but felt like I was huffing the jar of it. My husband had to go get the laundry when it was done and he'll be going around to clear up the cloths asap lol

What's up in your world this week (appointments/symptoms/life)?
12 week ultrasound on Monday. Going to see if we can see the 'nub' and test the nub theory with gender.
{note: we're still going to find out for sure later, but curious as I'm having "it's a girl" feelings lately}

Did morning sickness - or in my case, seems to be more evening - end up letting up at end of first trimester for anyone affected by it? Few women in my family had it last until month 4, another had it whole time

GTKY: What was your favorite children's show growing up?
Ooh this is hard! I loved a lot of PBS things. Polkadot door and Sesame Street would be the 2 my mum would say I loved most.

@MissKittyDanger with dd I had mild morning sickness that let up around 10 weeks and only happened in the mornings.. but it came back in second trimester randomly here & there. 

1. Ovia app says some sort of hamster lol 

2. Not really craving any foods, but I am experiencing allll the thirst! Ice cold water is my jam. Should be avoiding anything with dairy and tomato because it all gives me heartburn/reflux, but I'm doing an awful job at it.

3. We had our 12 week ultrasound yesterday and heard baby's heartbeat for the first time  

4. None.

5. Oh man, I had SO many. I know when I was really young I loved the big comfy couch!

@bkrahn At the beginning it was all day {started at 2am and didn't stop lol} but now it's like, nausea more there in afternoon/evening
Oh I loved Big Comfy Couch!! But I was older when that came on, still loved it

What's up in your world this week (appointments/symptoms/life)? had my NT scan yesterday which was super fun and put my mind at ease so much. just waiting on mat21 results - hopefully next week!

@doxiemoxie212 yup they were on late 80s/early 90s. I don't remember watching it, but I know I had the toy. It took me to seeing the gif to actually remember. They reminded me of Fraggles {all hail PBS!}

I'm stalking my email so bad for our family pics from last wkend. We're suppose to get them by cyber Monday. But I just want the one pic right now cause we're using it to announce on fb I think, if it turns out good

@MissKittyDanger I had horrible morning sickness all day for close to two months. I was on medication, couldn't keep anything down, and lost about 15 lbs. It luckily faded away within the past week and I am so happy! Hopefully yours will fade away soon too. FX!
@doxiemoxie212 omg I totally forgot about the popples until I saw your gif!! I definitely had that toy growing up too.

Not feeling many cravings or aversions these days. It's nice to start to feel my appetite return to normal. 

What's up in your world this week (appointments/symptoms/life)?
Had my 12 week appt on Monday that went well, so not another one until beginning of January. Symptoms have also been pretty low key this week which I definitely won't complain about. Spending Thanksgiving week alone has hit a little harder than it usually does. I guess blame the hormones.. Also DH is in Phoenix right now talking to his parents about the possibility of us moving there. I'm a little torn because it would be great to have family close by, but it would mean giving up a job/career that I love. I don't think I would continue being a zookeeper in phx.

Definitely a huge fan of Fraggle Rock and Rainbow Brite. We had the rainbow brite movie on betamax!

cravings... Salty and sweet and crunchy... And potato chips, mashed potatoes and granola... aversions chicken cooking... But I can eat it.

Hmmm I didn't really grow up with television as a child... But I remember visiting friends and seeing some of the shows every now and then... Fraggle rock, my little pony and rainbow Brite. As I got older I remember watching Gem and the holograms?

I was about halfway done moving DD to her new room across the hall from her old room- physically she was sleeping there the past month but hadn’t switched closets yet so I did that Wednesday. All the baby stuff (swing, infant car seat, bouncer, pack n play etc ) that was in her new closet is now in what I will call The Baby Room. It looks like a baby gear explosion. I closed the door and will deal with it in a couple more months

@lisa2589 We're getting my mum a T.V this year. (we got a really great deal today!) A smart tv for netflix and size upgrade.
MIL doesn't want much, but I'm picking up a NYX eye shadow palette she'd like and my husband will likely pick up her favourite wine

@lisa2589 I'm getting my mom an overnight delivery from her favorite deli in NY (she lives in CA, so lol), and I'm thinking that since she's retiring at the end of 2017, and I work freelance (ie, not a lot), I might sign us both up for one of those at-home language learning things (probably not actually Rosetta Stone, but something like that). Debating whether to do French or Italian. She took French as a kid so might like that she's better than me, but we're Italian, and I think she'd love to learn more about that since her grandmother refused to let anyone in the family learn Italian when they moved here. She's never been out of the country, so I'd love to figure out a way to take her to Italy, but it'll be complicated with a LO and our dog lol.

@lisa2589 My mom loves sentimental gifts.. we've done personalized calendars, charm bracelets, family tree necklace, etc. Shes always pretty easy to shop for.. my MiL on the other hand does not value anything sentimental so she's SUPER hard to shop for

@doxiemoxie212... We use duolingo.com for language learning. It's online it's free and they did a really good job with the program overall. For a free program it's great. They even have an app for tablets/phones also.

Finally get to see this LO at my NT scan on Monday. It was such a disappointment that I had the date wrong and thought it was last Monday. We just spend the past couple days at my BILs house. DD has picked up on some of my niece’s mannerisms that we don’t not like. My niece is 6 and quite spoiled and coddled, so hopefully it doesn’t take DD long to break those habits.

What's the most creative size for baby you've seen for baby this week? All I've seen is the size of a plum.

Food you're craving/avoiding? I failed my 1-hour glucose test and I'm trying to just get my OB to let me skip the 3-hour test and diagnose me as having GDM (again), so I have to track my glucose levels twice a day until my next appointment. So basically I'm craving but avoiding carbs.

What's up in your world this week (appointments/symptoms/life)? First appointment with OB on Thursday (13 weeks).

GTKY: What was your favorite children's show growing up? I was going to say Eureeka's Castle, but @dinodna3 already posted that one. I can't remember a definitive favorite growing up, but I do remember really liking David the Gnome.

@lisa2589 Snapfish has 70% off specialty products like calendars, ornaments, cards, etc. ending today. I'm going to make a calendar of DS for each set of grandparents. I made one last year and I noticed it hanging up in 2/3 of their houses (not sure about the third set because I don't think we've been there since last Christmas).

@doxiemoxie212 I don't recall watching the show, but I definitely had a couple of Popples when I was little.
