Okay ladies lets here them. Mine has already started, or never truly went away. Studies show women can have pregnancy brain for two years after having a baby... two years... yikes... Have any fun stories you'd like to share?
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.
Yesterday I had a fun one. I use two systems at work and they have seperate log ins. I was using a log in for my other system for a good 15 minutes, even looking up the wrong information trying to get it reset. I finally figured out what I was doing when I exited the system I was trying to log into and went back into the system I was already logged in trying to use that log in information for the other system. I was only two seconds away from calling our IT people to help me. Thank goodness I caught it on my own.

I panicked because the stove top was on fire and I kept trying to see what was causing the flames because the pot had not boiled over. We have a gas stove.
@bdesterhouse computers! I'm glad you finally figured it out after a lot of hassle. I totally believe in pregnancy brain and that it sticks around
I know a pretty good amount about computers and I'm always that person who does the dumbest thing. *printer isn't working.. calls IT* "Did you turn it on?"...... I just hang up. Ugh and don't get me started on the countless passwords.
On Sunday I turned the oven on to pre-heat and started a pot of water to get boiling. Totally forgot about the water and by time I remembered all the water had evaporated from the pot! Whoops

Got home from the grocery store yesterday, and was helping my wife put groceries away. She tried to toss me a bag of marshmallows, but my pregnancy brain didn't respond on time, and I got hit square in the head. My arm went up as the marshmallows were hitting me in the face! We laughed so hard.
I went to TJ Max. Got a few things, paid for them and left. I didn’t take the bag of stuff I bought with me. Left it all on the counter and didn’t realize until I got home. Called them and they held it for me until I came back.
I could not sleep last night, was tossing and turning for hours, finally got up at 12:30 and took an "extra" unisom - which is what my doctor told me to take for sleep, since he no longer wants me taking my trazadon. Woke up this morning and found that it was not an "extra dose" because I had never take my night time medications which include my unisom and progesterone both of which knock me out.

The other day I turned on the shower and started undressing. I put one leg in the shower before realizing I still had my underwear on! Pregnancy brain strikes again!
@owl_momma I'm sorry to be laughing at you, but that's awesome. So freaking relatable.
Other than it dawning on me that I missed a staff meeting (nooo!), my biggest brain fudge has been my complete and utter inability to remember if I've taken my prenatal vitamin or not. Zero recollection. I always call mommy brain, mommy amnesia, because it's literally like certain thoughts or memories are just *POOF*! I plead obliviation!
I’m directing the children’s Christmas pageant at church (I know, I volunteered before my BFP)...anyway, we met early Sunday to figure out casting and to rehearse. Well we were rehearsing in the sanctuary and I threw my coat all haphazardly on the pew and tossed my cell down beside it. Rehearsal went fine, then I needed to run to get my robe on for choir for the service and rehearse our anthem for the offertory.
church service starts, I walk down the aisle with the choir, get to the choir loft up front...opening hymn is over and the prayer starts. Someone’s phone starts ringing and they don’t turn it off. I’m like “what the heck this is so rude”. Then all of a sudden I gasp audibly and think to myself FUCK ITS MY PHONE.
i just pretended to be annoyed and snuck to the pew long after the service to retrieve my coat, car keys, phone LOL
Nothing crazy yet! But I’ll share my most embarrassing pregnancy brain moment from my last pregnancy. It will make you all feel normal. Haha
I was probably about 7-9 weeks pregnant and had just gotten home from work. I’ll pulled in my driveway and my neighbor was cutting the grass right there so we started talking. He said something along the lines of when are you guys having kids and I just laughed it off. I was so exhausted I went in the house and took a good long nap! About 4 hours later I was look for my car keys and could not find them anywhere BECAUSE I LEFT THEM IN MY CAR- WITH IT RUNNING!!! I wasted half a tank of gas. Haha. I was so embarrassed it took me about a week to tell my husband! Horrible. I never believed in pregnancy brain prior, but if that’s not proof, I don’t know what is. in my defense, my neighbors lawn mower was loud so neither of us heard my car running before I went inside, and I mean who does that?!
I asked a girl at work to pick up some chalkboard contact paper for me from a craft store when she was going, and then totally forgot I asked her to get it for me. Monday morning i spent 20 minutes trying to figure out where it came from (asked all the coworkers in my area and they were like “wasn’t me”. I️ was totally baffled) When i finally saw this girl later on, she asked if I saw it and I was like “oh, that was from you!” And she was like “yeah, you asked me to get it for you...” ha ha
i also left the cereal box in the refrigerator one day and put some bananas in the oven.

Hi, I guess I'm jumping in this forum because they haven't created August yet! It's baby #2 for me and I just got my first PPT yesterday, 6 days before my expected period and my pregnancy brain started almost right after conception. I remember it being the same the first time around. It's what really separated PMS vs pregnancy symptoms for me. Last week I was doing dumb stuff like trying to open my refrigerator with my car key fob! OMG! LOL
I just lost my wallet for a solid three hours after getting home from a hair appointment. I even texted my stylist to ask if I'd left it there. My BIL ended up paying for dinner (we ordered pizza) because my wallet was missing and DHs was in the car.
DH just found it. It was in my purse
That is a combination of pregnancy brain and sleeping five broken hours in the last like 30h. Night shift sucks.
This morning my husband asked for a cup of coffee. I turned the Keurig on, then after all the coffee dispensed, I noticed I never put a cup under the spout, so it just poured straight into the spill guard on the counter.

I tried to put the leftover pancakes in the dishwasher instead of the fridge this morning. What is it with the fridge and pregnancy brain?
DH just found it. It was in my purse
