  • @elothair My only hope is that it’ll get him to behave!

  • Thank you! @princesslockness @offtoneverland I'm glad to be back. I don't know why everything feels so busy right now.
As for growth spurt: I'm mistly just trying to figure it what's going on so I can decide what I need to do. I don't want to motn sleep train if he's not feeling well. I feel like when things aren't 'normal' I can give a little more and not be so strict about things (like sleeping in his own bed.) But if its just a habit and he's fine, then we need to break the habit and start working on it. I guess I'm trying to decide if I'm comforting him in a time of need, or causing bad habits that will hurt him later. I'll likely only know in hindsight... but I'm trying.
  • Sooo...I’ve checked in here several times, mentioning still nursing, even through the night, and just recently that I got my first PP period. However, now I’m not so sure...I’m totally not asking if I’m pregnant in a roundabout way, because 1) I’m quite sure there was no sex in whatever FW I may or may not have had, and 2) I know it’s against TOU. But my question is: can I even count this as my first period?? I had spotting on Tuesday, a very light flow on Wednesday (I’m talking 2 pantyliners all day...) and then spotting throughout Thursday and nothing since. I’ve waited a couple days to see if anything else happened, and nothing. I know cycles can be different after a baby than before, and a period is a period, no matter how light. But I’m just not sure what this is/was...is this a normal first period, and I should just wait it out till next month? Or is it just random bleeding that doesn’t count as a period?
  • @catwoman8731 I would definitely not count that as a period. I would just mark it as spotting. A period is when your full flow starts and you need more than just a pantyliner. Unless you previously always had light periods, then you could maybe count it as a period. Sounds like maybe your body is trying to start your cycle up, but it's not quite there yet? But I have no experience with PP periods since I had an IUD right after DD was born. So I could be wrong!

  • @catwoman8731 what you are describing is very similar to what happened to me at 3 months PP. I thought I was getting my first PP period and I even started charting because I wanted to use FAM for birth control. LOL. After 90 days I gave up and then I finally had a full flow period last month at 18 months PP. So it might not have been a period. However, because you are 19 months PP, and that’s a common time for cycles to return, even while nursing, it may have just been a light period or a “warning period” that may mean you didn’t ovulate before it happened. Hopefully you’ll have another cycle in about a month and then you can be a little more sure, even if it’s light.

  • Hey ladies! Sorry I haven’t been able to post much while I was on Thanksgiving vacation with the fam. From Seattle, we drove to a cabin in Lake Tahoe to meet our friends coming from southern CA. 15 hours each way, which went shockingly smoothly with an 18 month old in tow.

@lalala2004 DS has slept in his crib since he was about 5 months old. Thankfully he hasn’t tried climbing it, though he climbs everything else. We’ll likely look into a toddler bed when him climbing out seems like a real possibility.

@catwoman8731 just like lalala2004 was saying, I vaguely remember having a cycle or two of spotting like that before my first full PP period came back. FXed your cycle works itself out soon!

@Mylitta welcome back! I know just how feel. I’ve been out of sorts too. Sometimes you just have to put one foot in front of the other and “fake it til you make it.” Amiright?

  • @offtoneverland @lalala2004  @concreteayngel  thanks for your experiences/advice. I’m glad to have something at least going on, and here’s to hoping it will be a full, real cycle next month!
