@fraufarbissina I had mine last year and got way too drunk. Wish I hadn't done that, but I also don't know if I would have wanted to go pregnant (i.e., 100% sober).

I was suuuuuch a shy nerd in HS. I was still nervous to see the "popular" kids. *sigh*

Mine was.... 3 years ago? Definitely didn't go. And didn't feel bad about it. 
Big surprise, the weirdo art student here didn't feel like mingling with people who didn't give her the time of day back then lol. Plus Facebook makes it so you can creep and basically know what people are up to. Takes the mystery out of a reunion and also removes the guilt you could have from not going.

@fraufarbissina I skipped my 10 year 2 years ago. There was a Facebook page to see who was going, and the people who were going were all people who haven't left our "city" and all hang out together already. I didn't see any point in attending. Side note, I don't think I've seen anyone from high school since I moved 7 years ago. Not that I didn't like people from high school or high school itself, I just feel most of the people I liked all moved on to something better and have grown up, the others just stayed because they don't know any better.

I myself didn't go to the 10 year. We thought about it, but DH was in a wedding that weekend so an amazing excuse not to go.

Any Black Friday shoppers? I usually skip it but I am thinking of doing a little shopping. I haven't seen any ads that have 'must have' items for me so I'm thinking I will go later rather than earlier. If you are headed out what are you after? How early do you start?

I was so shy too.  I barely talked to anyone in high school and definitely don't talk to anyone now.  I don't think I'd ever go but especially not now that I'm pregnant.

@glitzandglitter I've never been out for Black Friday.. Cyber Monday all the way for me

@fraufarbissina - me too! I did all of my shopping online last year. A friend of mine invited me to go this year so I thought I'd give it a try.

Target has some good deals so I'm heading there Thursday evening. I'm mainly going for a google home mini for $30 but will be getting some Christmas decorations too.

I'm getting a crib on black Friday.  Probably some regular towels, sheets and clothing too.  Haven't seen anything else catching my attention. I was hoping for a deal on a snoogle lol.

My dry skin is so bad I can't stop itching and it's giving me welts or hives. I decided to try benadryl but this is insane.

@fraufarbissina my 10 year was when I was pregnant with DS. My bff was pregnant, too, and both of us were annoyed that there wasn’t enough food and everyone was drunk. The first two people we ran into were our exes from high school. We left early get get a real dinner.

@babys_2018 - a snoogle sounds heavenly. I have never bought one for my previous pregnancies but I am considering one this time.

Is that normal for you? I got a terrible rash when I was pregnant with DD1. My OB had me see a derm and they gave me lovely cream:-)
My favorite lotion for crazy bad dry skin is Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy.

Dry skin is typical for me but not to this level. I'm usually itchy on my legs and very flaky but the itching is everywhere and so uncontrollable it looks like it's turning into a rash or something. I will try your recommendation and mention it to my Dr in a couple weeks if it's still bad.

I am SOOOO bored today, and have no motivation whatsoever.  Can we move UO to today, since I'm guessing not many people will be on here tomorrow (and someone please make it juicy so I have something to make my day go faster)?  HAHAHAHAHA

@sandbar517 I'm sitting around waiting for dh to decide we're ready to go shopping for groceries. He wants to ask bil what he's doing because he just got back from his business trip, but now he's on conference calls and we're not allowed to talk while he walks around with his Bluetooth on. So... Bump it is.

I think I'm more excited about eating a gigantic meal tomorrow then I ever was as a child the night before Christmas. I plan on having 2 or 3 meals within a 4 hour period, haha. And definitely wearing maternity pants all day. Or as my husband calls them "pants with no harsh button".

Oh, also this is random, but a PSA.  Motherhood Maternity has a ton of stuff on sale right now, and it's an extra 40% off the sale price. And free shipping on $50 or more.  So yesterday the sale was 25% off sale prices, and i had a $20 coupon, so I ordered 5 shirts, a skirt, a dress and two pairs of work pants for $88.

@sandbar517 I plan on listening to Christmas music the whole way. I also think your comment about a uo thread sounds good and maybe we could do like a holiday combination uo / fffc thread.

@glitzandglitter ^^ love this idea! Although my fam meal is small this year (just my husband and my mom), but I'm sure my mom will be up to the task.

@suchaglencoco same! I can't stop thinking about all the food. My mom is making thanksgiving food tonight so we can eat it for dinner tonight, lunch tomorrow, and a snack before our drive to Pittsburgh to see our nephew (who just turned 1!).

I also am so glad Thanksgiving fell during second trimester and not the first. It would be miserable to not be able to eat anything and be nauseous by all the food smells.

@doraleigh35 Yeah, I'm crazy enough (and cheap enough) that I was tempted to see if the 40% off deals would've been better than my 25% off with the $20 coupon.  Not much I can do about it now, of course, but I would've had something to be annoyed about! LOL  Although, I guess I could return everything and re-buy......  ::thinking about it::

@sandbar517 you sound just like me! I bought a bunch of stuff from Old Navy & Gap last week when it was 40% off their entire site. They upped it to 50% this week, but a lot of the stuff I got was marked down last week and is now listed as full price. I had to do a little math to make sure I actually got a better deal at the 40% off than the current 50%.

@doraleigh35 I am a HUGE cheap ass.  I rarely buy anything full price.  However, in this case, I would have to drive to an area that is not really where I normally shop to return the stuff in the store and I am not willing to do that during Christmas shopping season.  So I think in this case, I'll just suck it up.  Although buying online is always tricky for my short/squat frame, so I may have to return stuff anyway.....

I actually went To Motherhood Maternity today to buy pants. Their everyday jeans are $20. I also got a pair of leggings for $12.

@sandbar517 I've got short girl, big butt problems over here. I ordered cropped maternity dress pants from Old Navy, because I know they will fit like regular length!

I just had to share with someone...I did the 5k this morning and I actually finished!! My MIL and I walked it, and we were somebody of the last of 6000 people to cross the finish line, but I'm so happy I did it!! Anyways, big accomplishment for me, and another thing that has been stressing me out for awhile done and finished!!

My 18 month old figured out how to escape his crib.  So I pulled the front off today and put him down for nap.  There was a lot of crying but he's quiet now.  Taking bets as to whether he stayed in his bed or moved to his brother's bed.

@tincupchalice eek that's my worst fear... My son is 2.5 and still hasn't figured out that climbing out of the crib is a possibility. I'm hoping he sleeps in it a bit longer it's nice knowing he's contained. 

Asf I woke up with a gross headache and didn't have any Tylenol left so I took some of DS's children's Tylenol
