@stephcat421 Everything is good. Just wasn't feeling super after some drama. So I just decided it best if I kept to myself a bit as @sunshineandwhiskey and @izza2 mentioned. Thanks for thinking of me though! @krashke definitely not because I have any IRL friends to share/talk to about it. I wish.. But no. I did make one friend recently who is moving here in March and will be here in 2 weeks. She has a son who's 2yrs old. I'm really excited about this... Since it will be my first IRL friend since a while. We also don't celebrate any holidays or anything, so nothing really going on in that area. The good news is my house is coming along really well and it should be getting a roof (starting it) within the next week or two.
Afm overall... I think baby is good. I decided I'm just going to the mid term u/s check at wk 20, but feel no need to before that. I found the baby's HB on my home doppler at 10wks,just after the u/s and heard movement for the first time a week ago! I'm still just bloated as heck, no bump, and hot all the time. All my symptoms seem to have dwindled, except the bloat and the boob size. It reminds me of my first pregnancy with DD1. I am wanting to start excising again and have recently taken DD2 off flour products in hopes we can figure out what this burping sniffing thing she does all the time is caused by.
I have been lurking and reading up on you ladies off and on. I try to comment or love tit when I can. But just really didn't enjoy the ordeal from a few weeks ago and feeling like I caused someone to feel bad or being accused of saying that I was the be all end all. I think it was a misunderstanding, but I just don't like conflict and try to avoid it whenever possible. And that's all I will say about it.
I'll try to be more active. Hopefully I'll feel connected again soon.
All of you ladies are in my thoughts though daily and I look forward to seeing all our bumps and beans soon!
I am over the top ridiculously excited for Thanksgiving this year. The last two years I was nursing my daughter and she had INSANE food allergy issues so I couldn’t eat 99.9999% of the food. This year I will eat ALL.OF.THE.FOOD!
My supervisor (who has known about my infertility issues and this pregnancy for awhile) wrote me a card and gave it to me this morning that was so sweet and sentimental that it made me cry. It was the first time I've cried during this pregnancy. I am so touched.
Me: 32 | DH: 36
Married June 2005
1/2016 - TTC#1
4/2017 - Initial RE visit, Dx: Severe MFI (Varicocele, 14% motility, 3% progression, but normal count)
7/2017 - Stage 3 endometriosis discovered during laparoscopic removal of ovarian cyst
9/27/2017 - BFP at 10dpo (cycle 22), baby boy due June 9, 2018
I took the day off so I could relax, make an eggless pumpkin pie for DS and make chili for my GM. Instead, I've worked half the day over some stupid drama that should have been dealt with last week. This was not relaxing.
Oh and for anyone into television shows.... I totally just started watching The Handmaids Tale (read and loved the book s few years ago, also read a few others of hers) and am on episode 2 and LOVE It so far!! I found it for free steaming online, because I don't have Hulu... But any Hulu ladies check it out if you haven't. Really well done.
@Miz_Liz.. Unfortunately it is a Hulu original o whatever they call things they produce. However! Never fear.... You can view it for free steaming st these two places... Episode 2 doesn't work at the watchseries.do website.. But I watched it at putlockers no problem last night. The tricky thing watching on either of these sites... Is it will open an advertisement for the first two or three play button clicks... Just close the new browser tabs and click play a third time and it will play right from the site. I use this same site to watch Outlander and The Orville.
I am not affiliated with the sites... They just work for me here in nowhereville. Where I can't afford all the TV subscriptions, etc. So use them at your own risk. I've been watching all my favorite series, that are not on Netflix or Amazon, on watchseries.do for like 2 years and love. It!
@Miz_Liz first month of hulu is free. Just set a reminder to unsubscribe. First season of handmaid is only like 10 eps so doable in a month. Rull rull rull good show.
and I'm celebrating it from 2nd trimester!! Such a weird day though. TW.... this was the week last year we found out about our last pg that didn't last. And we stupidly announced really early on thanksgiving (2 months after our 1st loss. We should have been more cautious).....end TW
And here we are in 2nd tri today. Getting to tell his gram she's having another great grandson.

@catlady1215 some trackers say first tri ends at the end of week 13. I don’t think there’s a real science here since 40 doesn’t divide evenly between 3. Lol
@catlady1215 I've heard both.. so celebrate, girl! yay for second trimester! I hit 13 weeks tomorrow and I can't believe it! TW * I found out about my mmc at 12 weeks right as we were getting ready to announce on social media.. * TW we heard baby's heartbeat yesterday and announced on social media last night & I feel like I'm living someone else's life? So weird, and exciting!
Happy thanksgiving all! I have had a whirlwind week, but I wanted to check in with you all!
We told the kids today about the baby! I was able to locate the heartbeat with the heart monitor and we let them listen. At first they asked if it was my heartbeat, but we explained that it is a little brother or sister. DD was extremely excited and DS was tentatively excited. Cue the questions from DD, “Mommy, how did you get a baby in your tummy?” I told her to go ask her father.
So thankful today. I turned 11 weeks and was FINALLY able to hear the heartbeat for the first time. I take my Doppler out about once a week and try. Tell myself not to expect to find it so that I don't freak out. Have yet to hear it. I have my first ultrasound at 12 weeks, next week, and have been in a panic that they will tell me there is no heartbeat. It's been my biggest fear for the past 6 weeks since I found out and has been escalating the further I get without hearing or seeing this baby. I know we are never out of the woods until the baby is in our arms, but my what a way to end Thanksgiving Day!
@catlady1215 I’m here! Not a crazy person so not venturing outside to stores today lol. Great sales online tho! Seriously debating if I should buy a stroller this early lol.
@doxiemoxie212 I'm stuck working today, so no shopping for me either... but I've never done blackfriday shopping, so even if I was off, that wasn't happening lol. annnnd I'm kicking myself for NOT taking the day off. cause I'd reeeeeeally rather be decorating.
if its a good enough deal, go for it!! I'd just worry about how much you buy now since you could possibly have a cross country move coming up.

I’m around too. My ILs have been bickering about everything and it’s exhausting. I heard my brother and sister-in-law argue over cleaning their kid’s turtle tank for a solid 30 mins. Their eldest daughter is 13, she can clean that damn thing herself.
No shopping here earlier because we don’t really do many big ticket things for Christmas. I wish we were home, so I could decorate and get a tree.
@catlady1215- I’m around and also working and also wishing I had taken the day off. I’m not sure what I was thinking, honestly. We usually put up our tree the day after Thanksgiving. Poor planning all around on my part!
@doxiemoxie212@catlady1215 Depending on the place, when my husband and I looked at a new store at our local mall to see what they had - they advised given my due date, when the "old 2017" models go on sale it would be a better option than black friday or boxing day. Although she also advised she wasn't sure of those deals yet, but knew they'd be on sale March/April timing
I'm home today. We're watching trashy court TV. So boring, but I feel like total crap today. It feels like I've gone through symptoms regression or something.
For those that make Christmas cards.. do you sign the card "& baby"? Usually I sign all of our names at the bottom, but is it weird to include baby? Is it weird to NOT include baby? This shouldn't seem like such a dilemma lol
@bkrahn yes I did with DD and plan to this time. I guess it makes it seem more special or something? Bonus- in case anyone missed the memo that way they can’t claim they didn’t know!
I’m descaling my coffee pot and Keurig with vinegar at the moment. We have well water so the buildup gets really bad. I can hardly think of a more wonderful way to spend my afternoon
We went to see Thor Ragnarok today. I peed twice during the previews, four times during the movie and raced out of the theater during the credits to pee again. WTF. I wasn't even drinking anything!
My DH is working nights, so I'm sitting in bed alone at 9:00pm on a Friday eating ice cream and watching TV. I feel like I'm a pregnancy cliche of some kind.
I'm on the last season of GoT (started in September...and would have finished long ago if I didn't fall asleep half the time we start an ep...haha). I might need to do the free month of Hulu to watch Handmaids Tale after this!
