Anyone on now - question about 5.5 month old and sleeping

My husband just emailed me at work and told me that Sophia took a nap this afternoon from 3 pm until 7:30 pm!!!!  He said he had to go wake her at 7:30.  This really has me worried....she never naps that long!  She was up at around 6 am this morning and I let her coo and talk to herself in her crib until 6:45 when I brought her in bed with me and she got upset.  I fed her at 7 and we both laid back down for a nap around 8:45.  She slept until 11 am then.

Is it possible that she's getting sick?

I'm waiting for him to reply back if she feels warm or anything. She's has a stuffy nose for the past few days, mostly right after she gets up from a nap.  We've been using a humidifier with Vics every night and when she naps.

It is possible that she is going to start cutting teeth.  Gunnar is in the middle of cutting his 1st two teeth and he will have days that he does nothing but sleep.

how did she do last night?? Poor thing-  I hope she's feeling ok, sick babies make me so sad:( And teething is just no fun either!

She could be teething.  I would call the doctor if you're really worried.  how is she doing today?

She seems ok today.  She was pretty stuffy when she woke up this a.m., but is clearing up now.  She also has a little patch of pretty red diaper rash, even though we are super careful to prevent it.  Do you think it could be teething?

sounds to me that she is starting to teeth.  The boys have been taking longer afternoon naps the past few weeks.  And they are definitely teething.

I hope that's all it is.  Or she could be growing, they will sleep more if they hit a growth spurt.
