Everything. Every day. I came home Wednesday night from work and started crying, DH asked what was wrong and I told him I was tired, he replied...being tied makes you cry?? Yes..yes it does, welcome to life as a father of a girl one day
DD put herself to bed for the first time last night, and I wasn't home to see it! DH said she walked to her crib saying "night-night" and waited for him to lift her up. My baby is getting so big :'(
@whitta1218 yes girl! They are my FAVORITE this time of year (no shame), but damn they get me every time. I have been trying to watch the Movies and Mysteries channel because that isn't as sad lol.
my parents are moving and will no longer be within walking distance of my house. Right before I have my first kid. They signed the papers yesterday and the new people sign today and get possession of it tomorrow. I'm just sad. (they really did need to sell the house, it's too big for them and my step dad has health issues that make it too hard to maintain, on a rational level I understand this. On an emotional level I feel like a 2 yr old who got left at the mall)
@jaclyn0405 Haha, yes! DH and I watch them every night. I started crying in one earlier this week and he said "Why are you crying? You know what's gonna happen. Every single one of these movies has the same downfall about 20 minutes before it's over, then they always end up together!" haha
Call the Midwife. Not a good idea when you're pregnant, ladies. I was literally SOBBING last night. Like, couldn't catch my breath, sobbing. DH took the remote away from me and said, "okay...no more watching this show until that baby is out of you." He was laughing at me while he said it, but I was genuinely destroyed over the episode I watched last night. I'm getting all emotional just thinking about it...
@cyanope I love that show! I've been watching it too much while pregnant. But it does make me super thankful for modern medicine and is kind of empowering because these women were giving birth is some pretty terrible conditions and rocked it.
