Hi! I'm new here

Hi! My name is Portia, and I've been TTC for the past five years to no avail.  I've had several things working against me in my journey: PCOS, hypothyroidism, weight issues, irregular periods, fibroids, polyps...just one thing after another. Tons of tests and a surgery later, I feel like I am still stuck in fertility limbo. I'm very grateful to have found a community where I can connect and share with other ladies who are going through similar things; this feels like it'll make dealing with everything a bit more tolerable!

I've got hypothyroid/Hashimoto's, maybe PCOS, and weight issues. You're in good company.

@BenJay Glad to meet you! Having those diagnoses sucks, but it helps to know there's someone else out there going through the same things and that you're not alone

@moloninge - Not sure how your diagnoses went but without my infertility, I might have suffered a lot longer with my thyroid issues. Silver lining, I guess.

@BenJay That was totally me! If it weren't for the infertility, I wouldn't have known half of the stuff going on heathwise, particularly with my thyroid. I used to think I was sluggish all the time because I'm not in my 20s anymore lol Silver lining indeed!
