Re: Plus Size Check-In 11/15

  • My goals are to keep eating healthy- and try to finish my meals for baby!

i am feeling okay- I don’t have too much of an appetite- but otherwise I feel good- just extra tired.

MY DH snapped a picture of me the other day a VERY unflattering picture but my belly was so bloated I looked to be like 6 months pregnant (or my idea of that since I’ve never been pregnant before) anyway- I sent it to my best friend and she’s convinced I might be further along then I think. But I’m pretty sure that is impossible since my LMP was Oct 5. Anyway- I go to the doctor on a Monday so I will feel better about everything- I’m just a nervous nelly right now.

  • 1. I would kind of like to go for a walk or be active in some way. I’ve been...
    2. Soooo tired that I haven’t been up to doing really anything. I know I’ll feel better if at least I have a reason to be exhausted.
    3. I don’t really have any concerns atm!
  • 1. I have an extremely important, time consuming, time sensitive project that I have to get done for my family and I do NOT want to do it. I've been procrastinating all week. So now my goal is to be done by Friday. Someone switch lives with me!

    2. Like everyone else: tired, sick, achy. My knee and ankle joints on the left have been KILLING me.

    3. New US appointment on Monday. Not really concerned, but extremely hopeful and anxious to see a heartbeat!

I wanted to ask you ladies: any reds for soft bras to wear to bed, like bralettes? I have a HUGE difference between my band size and cup size, and the ones I buy from Torrid always let me boobs fall out the bottom while I sleep. I'm in need of some nightly support while my breasts feel like they're filled with painful cement.

@christycalifornia I can’t speak to bra-lettes but I swear by anything from lane bryants Cacique line. I literally only shop there. I hope they have something that will help!

amending becaus I’m a FTM so I can’t speak to their maternity things.
  • @catftm2018 Thanks! I haven't shopped there in a while, so good reminder. I don't think they carry maternity? Or do they now? Because that would be awesome!

I want to be more active this weekend. Last weekend I barely left the house or got off the couch. That didnt make me feel any better so this weekend Im trying fresh air and activity.

    2) How are you feeling?

Nauseas, tired, and hopeful that everything goes well with this babe because I don't think I could willingly embark on this first tri journey again.

    3) Any concerns you are having?

Not really. Despite feeling bad, I'm feeling pretty good about the pregnancy if that makes sense. It's kind of terrifying to write that because now I think  I'm going to jinx myself.

Get through my volleyball regionals and Thanksgiving week at school.

    2) How are you feeling?
    Meh. Ok.

    3) Any concerns you have?
    I'm ok.

  • @christycalifornia I have two recommendations maybe. My boobs are probably smaller than yours by the sound of it, but here’s two I like: I recently got a non-maternity bra from Walmart that’s is the only thing I want to wear these days. It’s more like a sports bra but with less support and it latches in the back. It’s  super comfy and thin material.

I also reallt like the soft nursing bras from target I think they only go up to an Xl or xxl so that might not work for you, but also seriously comfy!
  • 1) try to eat well and be active when possible. Since im working all weekend this will be easy since ill be on my feet 8 hours each day.
    2) much like above nauseus all day everyday,  no sore boobs really but my psoriasis has flared up from hormones which sucks since i cant use my prescription meds for it.
    3) im concerned about my weight and this pregnancy. I had crazy awful sciatica pain last pregnancy and ive lost 20 lbs over the summer but im still above my pp weight from last time and really want to avoid those issues this time

I go for my first appt on tuesday and nervous but excited to make sure everything is okay
