@srb1028 Arm and Hammer Essentials is aluminum free paraben free deodorant. I find it effective. I used it even before pregnancy and through the summer. It's cheap and can be found at many but not all grocery/drug stores.
@srb1028 I AM SO MUCH SMELLIER!!! Seriously like, two hours after a shower when I’ve done NOTHING, I smell bad. I thought maybe my nose was more sensitive but no, DH confirmed. Sigh.
@srb1028, this is going to sound really weird, but try rubbing a stainless steel spoon in your armpit while showering. It's something to do with drawing out sulfur compounds that cause bad odor as they react with the stainless steel. They even make stainless steel soap bars and maybe even deodorant shaped. I cannot attest for how well this works for body odor, but I got one for the kitchen to get rid of garlic and onion smells on my hands after chopping. It really works for that. And for anyone who has a stainless steel sink, you can just rub your hands on it with running water. But the running water it's the key. (I wish I knew the science better on this one, but as soon as I hear the word chelate, my brain gets all twitchy. I don't love chemistry)

I’m so crazy when pregnant that I will scarcely use anything. I’m allergic to something in the Tom’s/Jason’s brand deodorant so I use the lavender Crystal’s roll on. It doesn’t do much in the way of deodorants but last pregnancy I used the unscented so this is a little better. Haha. I changed my toothpaste to dr bronner’s (not very foamy like regular toothpastes but it does the job), and since my last pregnancy I’ve been going to Whole Foods and buying the brand Good Soap one bar at a time. I know that probably sounds so extra, but it feels like I’m at least controlling ingredients when I can’t control what goes on inside.
@srb1028 I love fat and the moon deoderant. Highly recommend if you are looking for a natural deoderant. My H also uses it. It takes a month or so to adjust to natural deoderant but it is so much better than the chemical based ones IMO.
Thank you all for the different suggestions, I am willing to try anything at this point! @icecubeinthedesert I will definitely try the stainless steel trick as I have heard the same how it will take the onion smell out of your hands after cooking, so it can hopefully only do the same to your pits, right?!

@srb1028 my favorite natural deodorant is Soapwalla. And the original lavender tea tree works way better, in my opinion, than the newer citrus one. I started my foray into natural deodorant with Tom's and I'm not sure I even finished the first stick I purchased. I got really tired of it wearing off at the worst times. I actually got desperate enough to leave a stick of Secret in my car for those moments when I'm out of the house and suddenly realize I smell like a trash can or something.

My husband swears the Soapwalla doesn't work for him. He loves Schmidt's (not the sensitive skin version) in the Lime + Bergamot scent.
It may take some experimentation to find the one that works best for you.
