What's on your mind that is unpopular?

I'm dreading breastfeeding/pumping more than I'm dreading giving birth. I did BF and formula 50/50 for 3 months with my first then strictly formula. No matter what I tried BFing was not working out and became such a source of stress and negativity. DD is so smart and healthy that I almost feel like it's not worth trying to BF this time. I totally will but only because I feel too guilty not even trying but I don't want to.

@runsomewhere I wish there wasn't so much pressure put on women to breastfeed. And that there were more available resources for those that want to! I was lucky I had a pretty easy time past the broken nipple phase, but I basically had to teach myself.

Ahh!! Just hearing "broken nipple" makes me cringe! Congrats for being able to get through it.

@runsomewhere Cringeworthy indeed! I have a high tolerance for pain but in a lot of ways it's worse than giving birth because you have to do it around the clock.

I don't love Fall.  I mean, I recognize that the weather is nice, and the leaves are pretty to look at, but I am so much more of a Summer person.  

Probably related to the above, I am not a fan of pumpkin spice anything.

@stlmegs my husband hates pumpkin spice anything. Me, I get white girl crazy with the pumpkin. Gimme all the pumpkin lattes, muffins, cupcakes, etc... 

My OP... I think the US needs an autobahn. I like to drive fast and I think there needs to be a lane where I live that the minimum speed is 80, stay out of it if you aren't going 80.

I hate the snow! It's cold and wet and not that pretty after the first snow fall!

To go along with the weather related UOs. I hate summer. I like some of the things I get do do during the summer, but I hate being hot. Blah

I seriously miss wearing tank tops and flip flops in November in California. It's snowing here.

Yes!  There should be sex reveals not gender reveals.

I freaking HATE summer!  Even more,  I hate being pregnant/postpartum in the summer!  I always said that if I ever had another baby, I wanted to have a fall/winter baby (my girls were born in June and August), but nope, here I am having ANOTHER summer baby.

I gave up at 5 months but had to pump after a week of trying to breastfeed. My nipples were horrible and bled so much that DS spit up had blood in it. I felt so bad. No shield helped. I’m hoping it goes better this time.

another UO i dont like responding on daily threads after that day has passed haha it feels so OCD but I have a strong aversion to them once that day is no more since they are "daily" haha im weird i know

Haha. I’m super nervous to have a summer baby! Mine are February and April and I’ve always kind of wanted a fall baby but, no time like th present I guess. We can do this!!! I’m just going to keep telling myself that it’s not going to be that bad and hope I can convince myself lol.

@lindsayleigh1989 same. It’s been irritating for me that that other UO post from last week is still going even though this one is up. Ugh.
