How are you all doing? Pretty good, other than very, very tired. I fall asleep while reading books now. It is bad!
What has been the most exciting, and the most challenging, to date? The most exciting, being pregnant! Most challenging, keeping this a secret!
Have you made any baby purchases? My MIL a long, long, long time ago, purchased these little badger baby socks. We also have a bid and onesie (that I recently bought to announce to H), and the outfit I just ordered to announce to our families.
How are you all doing? OMG, do the boobs ever get less sore? I'm in agony, and it's only just started! Haha! Other than that, just really tired. Thankfully so far none of the other symptoms have kicked in yet.
What has been the most exciting, and the most challenging, to date? To be honest, I'm terrified. We weren't trying and this wasn't part of our life plan, so hubs and I are both just trying to let it sink in. I really want to tell my best friend about it so I have someone other than my hubs to talk to about it, but am also afraid of a MC or something. I know I'll be more excited later on, but right now, I'm just in shock.
Have you made any baby purchases? None. When do people start this? I'm afraid of buying anything before we're out of the first trimester! Should we be started now?
@noideawhatshesdoing - Agreed the boobs are so sore, and feel so heavy already! We only bought a couple of things nothing major yet. I have no idea when people normally start buying stuff!
How are you all doing? I am doing pretty good. The anxiety is real! I don't have any major symptoms or anything yet. My boobs are sore (but they get this way around AF too). I have been very distracted.. don't know if thats a real "symptom" or not.
What has been the most exciting, and the most challenging, to date? Most exciting was definitely either the BFP (unexpected after 11 cycles and a recent MFI diagnosis) and telling my family. Telling my family definitely made it more real. Most challenging is probably the anxious feeling I can't seem to shake. I'm so nervous about getting my hopes up and something happening.
Have you made any baby purchases? nope
@ajsanders-2 I have been really tired as well! But I always have been a big fan of sleep so I might just be using it as an excuse
@noideawhatshesdoing One of the reasons we are telling our families is so we have a support system if something does go wrong. And after trying almost a year (and everyone knowing) it was about time we got to share good news!
Me: 31 DH: 34 Married: April 2016 TTC December 2016 BFP 2/28/17 // CP 3/1/17 MFI Diagnosis: Aug 2017 BFP 11/1/17 // DS born 6/18 TTC January 2019 BFP 3/21/19 // D&C (MMC) 5/8/19
How are you all doing? Ok- nausea really set in yesterday so just struggling to find things to eat that dont make it worse
What has been the most exciting, and the most challenging, to date? Most exciting was probably watching my DH over the course of a week or so go from terrified to excited about having a baby. I think I might get there too after our first appointment next week. Most challenging definitely dealing with the bloat and growing boobs! I am having such a hard time getting dressed for work in the morning (my office is business formal so I mostly have suits and tight- but not stretchy- dresses with blazers)...going to need to figure something out soon!
Have you made any baby purchases? Nothing yet, again, kind of waiting to get excited until after our first appointment but have a few things in mind if everything looks good
