WAYDTGKU: PNV, CM, attempting CP, teas, & other general healthful lifestyle changes.

R/R: MH & I took our dog&cat to a petacular event yesterday.  The best part was the gourmet grilled cheese truck!

    CS/Q:  None :)

GTKY:  If making cat puns were an Olympic sport, I’d take the gold every time. Other potential top-contenders for sports I would metal would be: wallering in bed until the VERY last possible second, crying all my feelings, and/or Googling/finding obscure information

Hey all you lovely people negatively affected by DST and up way earlier than usual! Glad to see I am in good company. I grew up in Indiana and we didn't do DST until I was a junior in college. The first year we did it I worked a job that was open til 2am, so I kinda feel your pain @shortstack930

@jrm_14 making cat puns would be an AMAZING olympic sport.

    Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD:18

    WAYDTGKU: All of the acronyms

R/R: Rave: I have a writing/coffee/catch up date with a friend today, and it should be amazing! Then I plan on going to the co-op and maybe getting some beer from a local brewery. Rant: A lovely new pre-o cycle symptom I seem to have is constipation. Either that or I eat entirely too much during pre-o and this is how my body repays me. Who knows?

CS/Q: Yesterday I decided my CB must have gotten effed up by the temp. I was using old wondfos because my new wondfos were super light and i thought that was weird, but I remembered that yesterday and busted out the new one...walla, an obvious positive! Here's hoping I don't have one today.

GTKY:  If you could make anything an Olympic Sport and take home the gold, what would it be? Making soups and drinking coffee. I am boss af at those two things.

@shortstack930 @mrs_drc_rn The night shift was always extra torturous on fall daylight savings. Hope you’re both home now!
@emmasemm. Ugh, RA is a bitch. Hope you feel better soon!  That’s super interesting about your temps.  Too many feelings to go to bed on time last night was the precipitating event :D. When I was in Belgium, we had “sunday morning breakfast” every single week. Since Sunday’s are also super protected there, we would all get together for a long breakfast that day. Mmmm I miss the bakeries.
@smashjam Did Indiana randomly decide to do DST or did you move?
    @nimmle Woohoo for O!
@kiwi2628 Puppy snuggles ❤️  Have fun today!

@therealbitts I am sorry you are feeling down. Getting to the point of needing an RE can be such a let down, I know. Hugs

@jrm_14 Omg I love it! I could never do that, my cat would freak. Yours looks so chill about it.

@offtoneverland Haha I have shared that gif before. I relate to it so hard! I've heard such great things about the new Mario game. Sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday!

@therealbitts Ack! I'm out of champagne! I'll probably hold off on decorating until I'm stocked up. *hugs* girl. You don't need to apologize for that rant here, ever! Do you think you would mentally benefit from taking the month off from "trying"?

@jrm_14 I love that you can take your cat to events like that! I think both our cats would just freak out. One is afraid of everything and the other seems terrified of dogs. Gourmet grilled cheese sounds fabulous. What sandwich did you get?

@shortstack930 Do you have favorite genres or authors to read? I haven't been reading as much as usual lately, but I love science fiction and fantasy.

@emmasemm It's always nice to have a day to get stuff done around the house, but don't overdo it! Your health matters more.

@SmashJam I lived in AZ for six years, and they are the last state that doesn't do DST. I loved it, and now I'm grumpy to be back in DST land. My ex grew up between Indiana (before they started doing DST) and Arizona, so she never experienced DST until coming to college in CA.

@nimmle Yay for a solid smiley! Sounds like you have great timing this month.

@kiwi2628 You'll have to update us on all the amazing food you get to eat today! Have a great time!

@SkilledSailor So sorry for cd 1. *hugs* Sounds like fun to get started on Christmas decorations though! Maybe I'll get things going early this year. We usually don't decorate until after Thanksgiving. No idea what we're going to do about a tree this year. Our new kitty is liable to attack anything we put up.

@offtoneverland Regarding your GTKY answer, I think I could be a serious competitor for you. :)

@therealbitts *hugs* I'm so sorry for cd 1 and that you've hit the year mark. I'm recently diagnosed with unexplained IF as well, and it sucks. Take care of yourself!

@And846 Fx you and YH get some good timing in!

WAYDTGKU: medicated IUI cycle (plus vitamins)

R/R: The letrozole raised my body temp just enough that I was too warm all night and had trouble sleeping. Hope that's not the case for the whole time I'm on it! I also felt kind of woozy after taking it, and had mild headaches. Feeling better this morning though. I was lazy all day yesterday, so today I really need to get some work done! The plan is to work at home this morning, go to the gym, and then work at a coffee shop in the afternoon. We'll see what really happens though.

CS/Q: Temp was up .3 degrees from the letrozole, but there still isn't a lot to see here!

GTKY:  If you could make anything an Olympic Sport and take home the gold, what would it be? Procrastination, maybe. Or cooking. I'm a good cook. :)

@and846 thanks im definitely not over doing it. Laid on the couch watching sappy movies having made pasta for lunch (and enough to take with me for lunch tomorrow) followed by banana bread. The main fear I have is that there will be none left for DH or to take to work lol!

@therealbits hugs re having a tough TTC day. I'm on month 31 (yep that's a thing) and believe me I've had those. I've woken up in the morning and just had zero interest to pop the pills in my mouth. Or known that O would be coming in a few days and really just thought what's the point of HIO. However what I have learnt is that if I don't take the pills or don't HIO I typically then spend the next weeks beating myself up for screwing up the chance, and of course Murphy's law would say that my one good egg in a hundred would be released that month...

@offtoneverland I'll give you a run for your money for the gold medal on being lazy ;-)

@jrm_14 we had two cats when I was younger who would go for walks and ride in the car. But the other 20+ were a big no go for being on a lead! Then again one of them did also used to ride the bus...

@skilledsailor yes maybe the temps are still affected by the virus. And we just want to carve out a bit of time to make sure we start the day with the right food (not chocolate in the car on the way to the office!) and to have some time together. DH is a morning person, and since I'm so tired in the evenings and struggle to get past 8pm we thought we'd try mornings!

@offtoneverland so far I’ve read 27 books which is actually a super light year for me. The most I’ve read in a year is 110!
@therealbitts I’m sorry you’ve hit the point where you need to see an RE. It’s so frustrating. Hopefully the IUI will work!
@darkstar42 I mostly read young adult! I love sci fi and fantasy also.

@shortstack930 I love young adult too! That's my favorite genre by far. Wow, 110 books in a year! That's awesome. I have read 54 this year so far, but a lot of them are really short free/cheap books I've found on Amazon kindle. ;) It's the most I've read since taking up reading again 3 years ago.

@And846 Oh my goodness! How to choose! I love the Percy Jackson series (I read both the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus series). I've loved everything I've read by R. K. Ryals, and I really liked The Gifting series by K. E. Ganshert (both authors are available for really cheap--and sometimes free--on Amazon Kindle). Those are the favorites that I can think of off the top of my head, but there are so many others! Looking forward to seeing what @shortstack930 recommends too.

@SmashJam Your writing experience sounds like it's been very healing for you. It's great that you've found something to help you cope, and even better that you are needing it less and less.  <3 About books, I did read Heroes of Olympus! I really loved it. I only read 2 of his series but really want to read more. I've been wanting to read Magnus Chase as well. Thanks for the rec on Fablehaven! I just added it to my Goodreads list.

@SkilledSailor I'm not sure if taking time off would help, even though I'd like to think it would. I asked MH last night what he thought. He said to keep doing what we are doing (i.e., trying with all of my stuff - OPKs, acupuncture, BBT, etc). So, I'll probably stop sulking after a couple days and keep on trucking.

@kiwi2628 thanks. I really appreciate it.

@darkstar42 ugh it totally sucks! I am rooting for you on the IUI this month!

@emmasemm that is exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks. I would kick myself afterwards if I didn't "try".

@offtoneverland and @smashjam have either of y'all read the Kane Chronicles? Those were fun. I love Rick Riordan's books, but I've read so many of them I started to get burned out on the formula. But the Trials of Apollo seems promising, so that may be what I read next from him.
