AFM, just sitting around with MH watching tv/movies. We just finished Stranger Things (loved it!!!) and binged on the remainder of our Halloween candy. To the gym we go tomorrow!

As for me, I just spent my evening putting together this “Women of NASA” LEGO set and it was so much fun. I got to build a space shuttle! DH pretended to be more interested in his book, but I could tell he was jealous.

Last night was fireworks night so we watched them from our garden with homemade pizza and beer and it was the nicest and cheapest date night in a long time!

AFM: It dawned on me this morning that there are only two weekends left before my family is here for Thanksgiving. Time to completely revamp my whole house! Ok..not really but I will be doing lots of rearranging on top of cleaning.
So I did get an invite to go out with my friend that's in town tonight- but I have no idea what one wears to a fancy bar anymore. Last time DH and I went out, I wore jeans and TOMs. This doesn't seem like a TOMs establishment. I wonder if any of my 'going out' clothes even fit anymore.

AFM I have one work appointment today followed by lunch at my MIL's and dinner at BIL's. Tomorrow we are dragging out the Christmas bins and starting the process of getting the house ready for the season! Also going to try and attempt to fit some meal prep in somewhere as we have been eating out way too much lately because we've been so busy that cooking a regular meal isn't an option.

We have to run some errands Sat morning, and H has up and decided that now is a good time to get a new fridge. The conversation went a little like this: H: When we're out tomorrow I want to look at a new fridge. Z: Now? We have $5k worth of meds sitting on our kitchen table and have to pay the RE on Weds, and you decide we need a fridge now? H: Yes. Because we need a new fridge. And I know you, if we wait and you're pregnant, then we can't buy one because you're pregnant and we need to save money. If you get pregnant and we wait until after you have the baby, then we can't buy one because we have a baby. Z:....(what can I say, he's not wrong, I would have made all of those arguments). They're not even on sale, who buys appliances when they're not on sale. H: *gets laptop. Checks website. Turns screen - "Appliance Black Friday! Deals up to 40% off"* (H is now smkirking at me).
So, long story short, we're looking at a new fridge this weekend. Lol.

@josie12367 It's a little too cold today for a dress. Back in my youth (like 5 years ago), I used to wear a skin-tight pencil skirt in a bright color, a black top, and boots to go out. My body isn't exactly in skin-tight skirt shape anymore, and I value staying warm more than I did 5 years ago.
I may run to the dry cleaners to pick up this pair of cigarette-leg black pants I have. I might be a typical New Yorker and go with an all black look, but I haven't decided. First, I'm going to be super glamorous and clean my house and get some report card grades done.

@dukestar5 It was mostly covered already by @darkstar42, but yes, you must watch Stranger Things! It's on Netflix and it's fantastic. The cast is perfect and really makes the show. It's a little bit creepy, but not the nightmare-inducing type of creepy, at least in my opinion (and I get scared pretty easily)! Let us know if you watch it! @CraftyG Yay for an awesome date night!
