Yes, we love them! When she was in an infant class they exchanged Valentine's but weren't allowed anything that couldn't be used by all kids - hard right?!? I did boogie wipes with a little note about "Friends are like boogers and I'm glad I picked you". Lol
I got a 2017 bag from Target when I went a couple of weeks ago. Can I just wait a few weeks when it seems like they have the 2018 bags and go back and grab one? They never asked me for a name when I picked it up, so I'm guessing it'll be OK, but I'm also new at this. What about for BRU; same deal? I'm not really going to buy anything until I get closer to the due date, but I don't want to deal with expired coupons.
The BBB bag looks nice! We haven't registered there yet, but we have been there at least 4 times to test out strollers and car seats, so it's a possibility.
Yes, they gave me one Monday too! There were only some coupons, a pacifier and a couple tiny samples in it though. I told y'all I was busy Monday! Lol I also went to Old Navy and Carter's!
MichelleAG05 that valentines is SOOOO adorable, you're so creative! When you went to motherhood did they just give you that stuff with your purchase or did you have to request it?
@lindsayleigh1989 - No, Old Navy and Carters don't have any promo items like that. I was just returning maternity clothes that didn't fit and picking up an order I made on carters.com.
RE: Motherhood Maternity - they gave it to me along with my purchase. I didn't have to get the magazine subscription.
Got my babylist box in the mail today and it was just okay. Maybe I'm being picky, but the only useful thing in there was the breastfeeding bags (kinde box maybe?), pamper and wipe and the cetaphil samples. Still thankful nonetheless because it was free but my coupons were also useless, like a $50 gift card to find a baby sitter online.. no thanks!
Question and possibly a slight UO. I'm looking at all these baby boxes/goody bags whatever and all I see it clutter and landfill waste. So many paper coupons and plastic packaging for stuff that will likely get stuffed somewhere and forgotten about. Do you guys end up using all this stuff?
@runsomewhere I find the coupons (although I coupon all the time!) somewhat a waste. I just don't use ALL the products retailers send them for. It's very nice of them though.
@runsomewhere What I don't use I give away so it all does get use from someone nearby. I agree that there is a lot of waste with the packaging and useless flyers or pamphlets but anything we can get for free really helps out, especially when expecting an "unexpected" 3rd baby and needing to replace things that are too used from the other two. Babies are expensive!
@runsomewhere we used almost all the bottles and all of the sample products it helped save money for sure! The ones I still have from dd we use when we travel and have been amazing! I definitely used the coupons as well. I created a little file and organized them by brand and expiration date.
Anything we knew we wouldn't use I have offered on the parent swap site for free.
I try to coupon as much as i can but i hate printing stuff so i do tend to use these. I have them in my purse or car all the time. The samples are useful when i travel or when i run out of my usual at home. Formula samples saved me in between shopping with DS.
I plan on using the samples to see what baby will like. I have super sensitive skin (as does half my family) and I'm assuming baby will too, so I don't want to buy a whole bottle of something, use it once or twice, and then ending up throwing it out bc it causes a rash or something. I'd rather try a sample first and see what works and what doesn't. And then buy a whole bottle of what we know will work.
What on earth is the Lucy Darling item that came in the Babylist box? I thought it was stickers, but it's not. Is it just a picture that can be framed?

Ahaha seriously! I originally thought maybe it was one of those things to scrapbook but idk what that is!
My MIL is amazing and she basically gave me a new wardrobe at destination maternity, lol. We got a goodie bag with the magazine subscription like @lindsayleigh1989 mentioned. I usually hate magazines but in this case I feel like they will be useful as a FTM. It auto cancels after 2 years which is helpful.
There are some good coupons one of which being Shutterfly. We are awful at printing pictures and have not even printed our wedding photos yet so that will come handy! Other stuff I got in other boxes I feel can be donated or used as a filler for baby shower gifts.
@kissableviv i love the Shutterfly coupons! I joked around that I’m gonna gift my parents with a pillow of DSs face lol but not a bad idea for a nice pic of when DS meets his brother.

Agree! I hate the free samples and goodie bags with coupons that I never use. I think I posted this as an UO a few weeks ago.
For anyone loving shutterfly like I do, pampers used to (not sure if they still do) offer codes with every box of diapers you bought and you input them on an app or their website and earn rewards off of it. I can't tell you how many free calanders and prints plus discounts I got from them the first 2 years of my son's life and plan to do it again this time around since we prefer pampers anyway
@kissableviv my son is OBSESSED with Go Dog Go. Like we have to hide it from him sometimes because he will ask us to read it to him 10 times a day and it gets very annoying lol. That is a good deal!
Not quite “a steal”, but definitely a discounted rate! The books “Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls” are on sale! I bought the set for my sweet baby girl since I’ve been wanting them anyway and love a good sale! Also, it’s a fun way to celebrate International Women’s Day!
All purchases on the website are 30% OFF with promo code: CHEER4GIRLS until Sunday 11th March.
