R/R: Rave: tomorrow is the weekend! Rant: I'm feeling a bit down going into month 7. We're still waiting on the results from H's SA and I'll likely have an HSG next week. It's just frustrating and stressful. Especially going into the holidays.

GTKY: Usually I don't feel fully awake until I've had some coffee and walked the dog. The crisp morning air helps a lot.

R/R: Rant: It snowed overnight - and no on here knows how to drive in snow and immediately freaks out even though it's only about an inch of snow. Rave: It's Friday and I'm going in with my boss today to likely negotiate a pretty big increase in our contract that would allow us to hire another staff member! We only have 6 staff now and could really use about 3-4 more people but don't have the funding for it...the joys of non-profits!

@canucklehead123 brr! That sounds cold! But I wouldn't mind working for my couch. That said, I'm super unproductive when I work from home, so maybe that's not a good idea for me.

@therealbitts We work with individuals with disabilities and their families who want to do self-directed supports. (Ex. helping them obtain and manage government funds so they can hire their own staff rather than attending a centre day program). I am so jealous of your warm weather, we have snow today and I'm not ready for winter! Have fun at the zoo!
@canucklehead123 Oh how lovely! Working from the couch. It is one of the perks of snow days. And oh so pretty! Any fun plans with MIL? We don't get the 13th as a holiday out here. Jealous.
@elolin I totally understand people not knowing how to drive in the snow. We haven't had our first snow fall yet and I am not looking forward to it. So many accidents happen. Hope your meeting goes well and you get that extra staff member.

R/R: Its Friyay! Had such a kickass workout at the gym this morning. My trainer actually looked at me at one pointed and said that I had changed shades to a sort of purple and should she be worried lol (I tend to get extremely red faced when working out hard). AND MH got approval to fly home form NY in two weeks so we can catch my FW! I am super pumped that we wont be benched.
Rant: Now the entire ship knows that he is flying home to get laid. Oh well!
CS/Q: Temp went up a little this morning, but looking at my other charts, this means absolutely zero. It has happened before and then immediately tanked. Just hoping that doesn't mean AF is going to show up earlier than expected.

@elolin love the joys of the nonprofit world... I said that sarcastically but of course I actually do, I think all us non-profit professionals have very strong love for the sector and our orgs, but also feel so much hate towards the challenges. Do you read Nonprofit AF? I love Vu, he captures the challenges so well in such a comedic way. Also - your snow comments, LOL brings me back to my days living on the Coast and the struggles. I grew up about an hour north of Vancouver so our drivers were actually pretty used to large snow-dumps and we would always make fun of the city folk. But then we'd get so sad because the city kids would always get snow days and we wouldn't.
@therealbitts I read your post a little too quickly and thought you said "they serve bear at the zoo"... LOL.

@elolin I can’t even deal with people who drive like idiots in the snow. Most of the time when it’s snowing and I’m going to work the roads are empty, which is kind of enjoyable. GL getting more staff!

GTKY: I actually feel pretty awake as soon as my alarm goes off. DH takes much longer to wake up and sometimes I find it a bit frustrating. If you’ve been awake for 10 minutes you ought to be able to answer simple questions at the very least!
