I have been lurking on this BMB anxiously waiting for my tests, hoping to have others in this due date check-in join me soon.

What's your EDD? How big is baby? 
EDD is 7/24, big as a chia seed! :O  (I have been somewhat obsessively testing and am still 3 days out from MP but have had several BFP starting yesterday and this morning.)

How are you feeling? Any specific symptoms yet?
So far just very tired and thirsty.

Nothing really yet but very excited to start this journey and it is so hard to keep my husband from spilling the beans immediately!

GTKY: How did you tell your SO?
He knew when I was going to be taking the tests and kept asking daily if I had yet. I had a very faint BFP the first time, 2 days ago, and had him look at it to see if I was just imagining things but he saw it also. It has steadily been getting darker now so we are convinced.

I've been nauseous since 2dpo. I didn't think it child be pregnancy related until someone showed me a study on EPF (early pregnancy factor).

I found out yesterday so I'll schedule something tomorrow when the office opens. ETA: appointment scheduled for 11/29!

GTKY: How did you tell your SO?
My daughter told me that my children would be named Blueberry, Strawberry, Grape, Tractor, and Mr. Moon..... she's 3. When I told my SO, he thought it was cute, and has referred to our first child together as blueberry. So I sent him a picture of a blueberry and said there's two lines.

wrote on a paper “what is a dad; you is a dad... AGAIN” and then put the test with it under a pile of old mail on the table . Told him to check the mail. He already had a feeling haha

I was so surprised the test was positive that I just ran downstairs and waved the pregnancy test around in front of his face!!

How are you feeling? Any specific symptoms yet? I cannot even believe how tired I am and how much my boobs hurt. Light dizziness and nausea just started in the last day or two.

Any appointments scheduled? First one is in my 9th week, on Dec. 22.

Rants/Raves? This is my first pregnancy, so I'm really excited. Also did I mention my boobs hurt?

GTKY: How did you tell your SO? I did the test that gave me my BFP first thing in the morning, so he was still lying in bed while I was in the adjoining bathroom. It was a digital one with countdown, so I did a play-by-play: "Okay, it's 1/4 of the way there, now 1/2..." When it got to 3/4 I couldn't take it anymore and had to go cuddle him so we could be nervous together. Went back into the bathroom after a minute..."OH MY GOD IT SAYS PREGNANT!!"--ran back to bed and tackled him squealing. It was a good morning.

How are you feeling? Any specific symptoms yet? Heartburn...ugh! My boobs go from being sore to being fine, then back again. Peeing a lot. Nervous, excited, scared.

Rants/Raves? I can't stop peeing on sticks! I had a miscarriage in July, so Im worried. With every test, the positive sign shows before the urine (not sure of the technical terms). I'm still not convinced.

GTKY: How did you tell your SO? I tested last Wednesday and Thursday without him knowing. As we were getting ready for the day that Friday, I pulled one of tests out and said, "dont freak out". I couldn't even show him the test because he said, "you're pregnant. Why would I freak out?" All while sporting a huge smile.

What's your EDD? How big is baby? 7/26 a grain of table salt.

How are you feeling? Any specific symptoms yet? Headaches in the morning/afternoon, I think from pulling back on caffeine. Nausea if I am not moving around or eating or both. Sore muscles and joints and some light cramps. I don't remember this many symptoms early on with my last two.

Any appointments scheduled? 12/4 (midwife with a birth center) and 12/22 (with a midwife at a large hospital). Can't decide where to give birth.

Rants/Raves? Rant? This is our third time around, all my hiding pregnancy tricks are known. I didn't drink wine last night and my MIL immediately asked if I was really just sick. I held strong but she's coming for Thanksgiving and for me to not be drinking at two different occasions is odd...she will know. We are just having family over so I am guessing we will tell them all then, even though I will only be 5 weeks, just to keep from dealing with hiding it longer.

GTKY: How did you tell your SO?Brought the test into the living room that morning and he was like, I don't see a line. And I was like, Its there! and he was like, what that slight something? And I was like, YES! And he was like, I'm not convinced, it should be darker. So the next day, I left the test, which was darker, above the test from the previous day and an old pee stick from the cycle before that was still in teh trash so he could compare. He was like, Why is that so faint? They should make this easier. I said, Because its for women and no one cares if we are confused they give us the least helpful option. He rolled his eyes. So anti climactic, lol.

GTKY: How did you tell your SO?

I got a SUPER faint line early one morning and started to wake my husband and ask if he could see it but decided against it. I just took a pic and went downstairs to workout. He came down about 15 mins later to tell me he was going for a run and I told him to go look at the picture on my phone. He said he could see something too but asked “are you sure that means you’re pregnant?”. Lol we were both hesitant to get too excited but definitely happy to see something there! I showed him a darker line later that day and continued to test for about 3 days...each day it was darker we got happier and happier and it finally felt real to us both.

GTKY: How did you tell your SO?
I had a hunch on Friday while at work, and I had a test at home. I picked up my DS from school and went home, and took the test. At first I thought it was negative but after a minute the positive line showed up! I told DS to hurry with his dinner and we ran up to Wal-Mart where I got a card and a onesie with my DH's football team on it and wrapped it up with the test and left it on his pillow. He was super excited to come home to that!

GTKY: How did you tell your SO? *TRIGGER* I haven't told anyone yet because I have had two mc already this year and my husband and I were both very upset (understandably so) so I am going to wait a little longer to tell him. I just tested yesterday, so I haven't had this secret very long, but it's killing me already!!

What's your EDD? How big is baby? July 24th, 2018. Baby is currently the size of a poppy seed. 

How are you feeling? Any specific symptoms yet? very tired, bloated pressure and pinches of pain in lower abdomen. No cravings or aversions yet. Still a bit early alothough I didnt have morning sickness with either of our 2 boys. Very sore bbs, which i though was a symptom of the clomid but looks like it was for other reasons.

Any appointments scheduled? a second hcg bloodtest on wednesday morning to make sure the numbers are doubling.

Rants/Raves? It is so shocking and surprising. I didnt expect to get pregnant on our first round of clomid, especially since weve been trying for 2 years. Just keeping my fingers crossed for doubled numbers on Wednesday and waiting to see if it will be a singleton or twins, as they run in my fam and because of the clomid.

GTKY: How did you tell your SO? He knew I hadnt started my period and that the dr had ordered a bloodtest. I woke up extra early yesterday morning to another temp spike on my chart so since i had one last cheap test, i figured I would take it...fully expecting it to come back negative like the one on 14dpo. As i sat there and watched it, I thought i saw a line forming but rubbed my eyes to make sure it wasnt because i was half asleep. Low and behold, there it was, a positive test. I had a minor freak out in the bathroom and went back into bed. He asked if everything was ok bevausr he felt the tears on my face. I told him that I was pregnant. Nothing fancy or over the top, just a raw moment that we have neen waiting for for 2 years. It was perfect. The bloodtest today was just to make sure.

How are you feeling? Any specific symptoms yet? Feeling pretty good, if not a little apprehensive about getting my hopes up too high. Breast tenderness is pretty strong. Went to bed at 8:00 last night. A couple of headaches, but that might be the whole trying to quite coffee thing. Mild cramping seems to be going away.

Any appointments scheduled? Not yet. I'm kind of over making an appointment with my midwives and then cancelling a few days later, if you know what I mean. I'm gonna wait a teeny bit longer to call.

Rants/Raves? TW(?) I really just want to be, like, super excited, right?! But it's kinda lame because I feel like I need to not get too ahead of myself, just in case I lose it (due to my MS history - 2 in the last year). I cannot wait until, I don't know, like the 6 week point, maybe then I can really jump in and start fantasizing about nursery stuff or whatever. LOL.

GTKY: How did you tell your SO? We've gone through this whole pregnancy test thing together so much over the past year. I took it in the morning on a weekend, left it out on the bathroom counter, told him as soon as he woke up and made him look at it. xo. We're both beyond excited and terrified.

@DynamiteTrujillo, I understand wanting to be excited but having a hard time getting there. TW: I had a mc a few years before I became pregnant with my son, and I don't think I really became excited until almost my third trimester. End TW. I also had my appendix removed when I was 16 weeks along, and I was terrified something was going to happen. 
I wish you all the sticky baby dust and a healthy and happy pregnancy

@SmashJam.  Grape juice or gingerale....makes it look like wine/champagne Thats what I do to keep everyone from asking why I'm not drinking, because it looks like I am LOL

He forgot his computer for a meeting and came back home so I told him then.  ****TW***** After two losses, he knows I POAS from 9 DPO on so he knew I was going to tell him something just that both of us had kind of thought it wasn’t going to happen again for us so he was surprised

@babygagnon2018 I had definintely thought of that-I was even going to go so far as to make a special "cocktail" with the mix and the alcohol separate, so I could just drink the mix and then everyone could think I was drinking. But...we might just tell them. It will only be the four people I would be fine with knowing anyway. We'll see if MIL asks if I'm still sick again, and if not I'll just not say anything!

@limoncat, my H is totally freaked about 2 kids too. Everytime DD is being a handful (which is always since she’s 2) he’s like, we’re about to have 2 of these! I have a much higher threshold for chaos than he does since I worked with small kids for years before our daughter was born.

@blair_krank My husband does the same thing. Whenever I get frustrated with DS (also a crazy 2 year old) he is like good luck with two. He also has been referring to DS as his baby and the new baby as mine...he is not excited about revisiting the baby phase. I am like what is the big deal, most of the baby duties will fall on me anyway.

How are you feeling? Any specific symptoms yet? Feeling pretty good physically. Some nausea, some annoyance with smells. Last night I had lower back pain and some pressure that I wasn't too excited about but its gone today.

Any appointments scheduled? Earliest I could get in is January 10th with my OB.

Rants/Raves? Last time I got pregnant my SIL was trying to get pregnant too and I "beat" her and she was so upset I had to not tell her in person because she needed "time" to accept it. (This was my 2nd baby, she was trying for their 1st, which she had a year later) Fast-forward over 2 years. Guess who just told me she is trying to get pregnant again? Guess I beat her, again, even though we weren't trying this time. I am so frustrated that I even have to worry about telling her.

GTKY: How did you tell your SO? He's a Patriots fan and I found a Monster Energy Gronk drink so I bought it and gave it to him saying he's going to need it. And then I stared at him until he figured it out. It was fitting because the Monster logo is 3 slashes and this is baby #3.

How are you feeling? Any specific symptoms yet? Hungry, sooo hungry. Frequent urination, tender breasts, and I'm noticing smells a lot more. I didn't wash a new pair of blue jeans before wearing it, and the smell of the dye bothered me all day. 

Any appointments scheduled? Just had my first US today, and I'm assuming everything looked good because the nurse practitioner congratulated us and didn't seem worried. I'm only at 5 weeks 5 days, so all it showed was a gestational sac and yolk sac. Next US is in 2 weeks to hopefully hear the heartbeat. If that US looks good, I'll "graduate" from my RE to the regular OBGYN! 

Rants/Raves? My MIL knew we were doing infertility treatments, and she keeps trying to find out from my mom if I'm pregnant (all while insisting that she wants to be surprised). I want to wait to tell his parents until we hear the heartbeat at least. 

Questions? This is a long shot - I'll probably ask this on the questions thread - but has anyone taken Metformin through the entirety of a previous pregnancy to prevent gestational diabetes?

GTKY: How did you tell your SO? I originally wanted to do something cute but infertility treatments kind of take the surprise and the fun out of things. I'd been testing out my trigger shot. I got what I thought was a false positive on 8 dpo because the line was darker in the afternoon but then a digital test was negative and my test was lighter again the next morning. So I squinted at lines for a few more days being really confused until 11 dpo when I turned a digital and finally believed the lines. My husband was in the bedroom trying to nap, and I just walked out of the bathroom holding the digi and said "Oh my God, I think I'm pregnant." It wasn't cute, but at least I managed to make it dramatic haha. 

@elizabethrn87 I'm glad your SO was happy about it! ETS: It's at least good that he's going into it with a positive attitude.

@limoncat I'm totally with you on the hiding the fact that I'm not drinking. We have about 3 parties to go to in the next few weeks. I feel like everyone at MH's very small office party will know because he went to a doctor's appointment with me today and on Friday I'll be at a party looking perfectly healthy and not drinking.
