I'm cleaning up the aftermath of my class's Halloween party. We had mountains of goodies- every kid went home with a gallon ziplock bag filled with every kind of treat imaginable. And there's tons of leftovers. They should be thoroughly sugared up for the next six months

I have so much to do at work, but I am just having a hard time being any sort of productive. This move really took it out of me, and now I'm entering into the TWW so my brain is elsewhere.
@jsnakehole Sounds like it was a success! I am sure that they are only going to get more tonight too. Their parents are going to be so grateful for that lol.

@nitnat007 settling in slowly - there are boxes everywhere!! And the furniture hasn't arrived yet (except for the couch) so it's a bit empty for now. Just heading over to June to read the thread LOL thanks for the tip.
@canucklehead123 It will come together in no time and you will love it! I think it was linked into the "sorry" thread. Its a thread from Sept 2014. Slightly gross, but good for a few laughs.

I have a random complaint. It's about female clothing, specifically winter sweaters.
1) WHY ARE THERE HOLES IN EVERY SWEATER. I want to cover every inch of my skin when it's frost-bite weather. I don't want to put on a sweater and feel a goddamned draft.
2) Why are the sweaters so thin?? What happened to big, bulky sweaters with such heavy cable-knitting that you'd almost suffocate in them? THAT is what I want.
3) Why the deep neck lines and what the fuck is with v-neck backs?? NO! COVER MY BACK! Winter clothes are supposed to protect us from the cold! NO!
4) What is with the midriff baring?? I want my sweaters hanging halfway down my thighs, dammit.
5) Why am I paying $50-$75 per sweater to be exposed to the elements??! STAP
We women suffer enough. Please don't make us cold, too. I am not trying to attract anyone or advertise anything. I want a big, warm sweater to cover my arms, belly, back, chest, and yes, the tops of my thighs.
And, dear fashion designers, for the summer... PLEASE STOP MAKING SHIRTS OUT OF CREPE PAPER. I do not like wearing camis under T-shirts because it is way too hot for that.
@wishiwaspreggo My theory is all the clothes designers live in CA and therefore do not know true winters. Although, I live in NC and also do not know true winters. I like my holey sweaters. Right there with you on the crepe T-shirt’s though! I seriously struggle finding good summer clothes.
@canucklehead123 - I wish I could move to Canada for many reasons, the biggest one being our Cheetos-crusted reality star turned demagogue politician I'm forced to call the president. You have Justin Trudeau. He's everything I could possibly want in a leader, and he's a heartthrob to boot. You are lucky you get to see his beautiful face when he makes announcements to the country whereas I have to sift through Trump's nonsensical ramblings through his Twitter account to get information on what's going on.
@canucklehead123 - who wouldn't? He's a feminist with chiseled features and perfect hair. I bet he's an avid reader and can hold intense intellectual conversations.

I'm having two night's out this week- tonight is my school's PTA auction, and I'm going out with an old friend from my birthright trip for drinks this weekend.
I'm kind of more excited for the PTA auction. Not that I don't want to see my friend, I'm just not into going to a bar or a club- to quote Liz Lemon when she's given up, they're all malarkey.

I would also like to point out there was a on-off post today (one with the TW) that showed that it is entirely possible to read everything and post and not be a douchecanoe. And that our board can be nice & supportive.
@princesslockness nicely done!! I would reply to the WTF but it's not worth it. the fact is we do know her story. and she was so inconsiderate AND! again why would you post on BMB when you said you wouldn't. at least change the screen name so it's not so easy for us "rookies"...
