Two sacs 1 heartbeat confirmed

in 1st Trimester
Dr. saw two sacs at 6 weeks but could only confirm one heartbeat. Has this happened to anyone? Did you find out there were two heartbeats later  or vanishing twin?

    This happened to me this pregnancy. TW it was a vanishing twin END TW. The sac eventually passed though.

    It could for sure end up only one baby, but fraternal twins also can implant a week apart making one of your babies only 5 weeks and too soon for a heart beat... So wait it out a couple more weeks and see what happens! 
    Bright side: you have a very healthy baby in there no matter what!!!

    Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
    All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!
